Lees Garden Chinese Restaurant
215 Reservation Rd # A, Marina, CA 93933, United States
Lees Garden has been in Marina ever since I was a kid! I hadnt been there in over 20 years but so glad we stopped to eat since I forgot Daddys was closed on Monday and Tuesdays. They updated their look and you know a Chinese restaurant is good when theres a lot of Chinese patrons eating there! They serve Dim Sum every day. We ordered from their lunch menu. Portions were very nice and egg drop soup was really good. YOU GOTTA TRY THE CHIVE DUMPLINGS!!! That was sooooooo yummy. Service was fast and they were patient with us since we hadnt been there for such a long time.Food was very tasty and not full of salt!Dim Sum dumplings were so tasty I forgot to take full pics of them...sorry! Prices were very reasonable and they put your leftovers away for you so you dont have to worry about making a mess!
Annies House
204 Cypress Ave, Marina, CA 93933, United States
I dont want to o call this a hole in a wall but its a diamond find for sure.Fridays are my families and Is out and eat at local businesses, we try to do someplace, and food items, that are new to us.Annies House is a great place to eat some good food, good environment, and good energy. From the time we walked in we were greeted by Annie with all smiles. We ordered a new dish to us. The crispy lemon fish passed the hardest food critic Ive ever known, my pregnant wife! She loves it, saying it gives a pallette similar to orange chicken. The calamari appetizer was different than even Phils fish market, in a better way, was either garlic or pepper, maybe both?either way it was fantastic! Itll be a good. Spot to dine in one day, but we will surely have Annies house on our minds when we dont want to cook!
Panda Express
4325 Glencoe Ave, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, United States
I have eaten there 3 times in 7 years and in those 7 years it has not improved. Over priced and under plated. I would rather go to a fast food Chinese restaurant then panda.
Panda Express

Let be honest, it is a fast food restaurant period. Its quick, cheap a has a good variety of American Chinese food. Its kind of Subway style, but with Chinese food. They have 3 options according to your hungry: Bowl (1 side + 1 entrée), Plate (1 side + 2 entrée) and Big Plate (1 side + 3 entrée), costing $6.30, $7.30 and $8.80, respectively.Sauce is charge separately ($1.00) and I recommend Chicken Egg Rows ($2).They have a take away option if you dont want to seat inside.

Its a small mom and pop location decently priced. I got the dinner special,Okay so the sesame chicken tastes like old oil,the flavor was not so bad but you can taste like the old oil so harder pieces. the noodles were definitely overcooked as well as the veggies in it you could tell how they looked and the texture and they also were on the Bland sideBroccoli and beef was a little bit better some pretty okay flavoring the meat was tender but the broccoli was a little bit overcooked *they did accommodate me and change the order from Mongolian beef to the broccoli beef )so I definitely appreciate that theyre chicken and corn soup was the best thing flavorful and nice pieces of chicken and nice piece of corn and eggtheir Fried Chicken potstickers were a little bit too fried/burnt for me overall the place wasnt super bad Id probably give them another try just to see if maybe it was an off day. (Ps it is forth of july)Get the chicken and corn soup its a big portion size for a decent price.
Golden Scoop

I thoroughly enjoy this place. Not because it has great Ambiance or music, they have none, its because you can eat here cheaper than you can cook at home. Its quick, they give you plenty of food and each item is only $2. (Update: its now $3 - $4). IIts Americans Chinese food served cafeteria style, think Panda, or you can order takeout or doordash delivery. You get a good variety of food from teriyaki chicken to broccoli beef and two kinds of noodles, etc. They also serve chinese-style crunchy fried chicken. Which by the way is delicious. Very different than American style fried chicken. I usually stick to the Chinese food and spend $4 which is plenty of food. Parking is difficult and once they get to know you, theyll let you use the bathroom. Ive never tried their juices or fruit drinks but the pictures look pretty good. Definitely stop by and give them a try. EnjoyIf you like my many reviews please hit like!
PHO MdR Noodle Culture

I really wanted to like this new local restaurant. My family spent roughly $150 to try a few things here tonight. Expensive is fine if the food is good (rent is high around here, I get it), but the Banh Mi was perhaps the worst I've ever had. I've spent two weeks in Vietnam and while I'm no specific expert I've had 100+ Banh Mi in my life and I can confirm this was the worst one I've had. Bad bread selection, bad meat selection. Nothing can save it from there. Banh Mi lives or dies on bread selection, I could have gotten better at Ralphs and Lee's well Lee's $2 banh mi is 3 Michelin star compared to this. We ordered many things. All were the worst versions I've had except the Pho. The Pho is the only thing edible here, the rest we threw away. I'd give the Pho a 2 star on its own, the broth was interesting and strong profile but inauthentic and perhaps trying too hard despite missing the key flavor staples of pho. Everything else I tried to eat was a zero star and literally thrown away. My family agreed. Mediocre food wouldn't justify writing a review, charging premium prices for the worst Vietnamese I've had does just because I'm super disappointed this place didn't bring their A game when opening in a foodie city. My mom was here from out of town and said the spots where she lives in Tucson were better. Made me feel sad for Venice/MDR since we usually have restaurants that are way better than Tucson!I hope this shop gets it together, I root for small businesses and I support all our local restaurants here in Venice/MDR but this meal was borderline offensive to even sell because most people who know Vietnamese food wouldn't serve this to their own friends or family let alone charge this much for it. I realize it is a new restaurant so I hope it was just an off day for them but either way I'm bummed out that they let this level of food go out the door to any customer. I want you guys to succeed. Please try harder and don't get brainwashed by yes men with the other reviews. We need great Vietnamese food here, please step it up for us all.

I love live theater! We are so lucky to have it. This is a cozy, quaint understated, underrated theater gem in SF. Always well produced, well acted, evocative shows that make you feel and think. No bad seats.Eat dinner at Greens (my fave) or Radhaus to catch GG Bridge, harbor and Bay views before the show. But don't be late for the show!Paid parking lot with lots of space.
