Your local mom & pop style place. Simple but nice atmosphere accompanied by a nice side dish bar (for dine in only). The food is good, not amazing but will fix any Korean food craving you may have. The owners/employees there are always kind and welcoming, I would definitely recommend!
$50 well spent here on abundant amount of food. We got rice cake, japchae, dumplings, tofu soup, bimbipap... darn forgot what else but it was all delicious! Its a small family restaurant but I love how homey all the food is. You wont regret trying this place out. Best korean restaurant in fresno! :) I eat at least once every other week here
Lots of different food per order. 1st time having Bulgulgi so i cant really judge, but i did expect it to not be so simple. All the different foods had one thing in common and that its Sweet. Im not a sweet fan...more savory fan. I never judge stars on my own personal taste buds
The food was unexpected delicious! Its not overly spicy. Whatever you order comes with sides that are included in your meal. The price of each dish is about $11; which isnt too bad. I loved it there and Ill make sure to come back! Best Korean food Ive had in a while!
When you walk in, there is a little mart to the left and the restaurant to the right. We were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere. Banchan and water were served immediately. Generally banchan varies depending on the day with kimchi always being present. We ordered the spicy seafood noodle dish, spicy beef bulgogi, and japjae (glass noddle stir fry).The spicy beef bulgogi came out first and we got hot rice to go with. The jalapenos werent something I generally see on this, but it was good and spicy hit the tongue immediately. Japjae came out next piping hot. Where I come from there is generally zucchini in this dish as well - flavor was spot on. Then the spicy seafood noodle dish - amazing!! We took hime leftovers after being very well fed - servings are traditionally large.We got there at 4pm on a Sunday and were well taken care of even though the staff was taking a rotating lunch. Never needed to ask, they added everything we needed without asking. Shop seems family run, small (6 big tables) but clean. Will come again!
Really great food! I shared the bulgogi and spicy pork with a friend and they were both delicious! Prices are a bit steep (each entree was at least $16.99), but they did each come with rice, and sides are self serve in the front of the restaurant. Ill be back!
Enjoyed the ambiance and food soo much. Tried the kimchi tofu soup and a rice dish which was served with these lovely little sides that really were tasty as well. I will absolutely be back, didnt get a chance to get in the market but will next time for sure. Its definitely a sweet cute family feel restaurant.I should have taken better photos but either way the food was delicious ❤🙌

Best Korean food in town!! Unlike some Korean places in town, they actually go out of their way and serve you side dishes before your meal arrives. You get full without having to spend a lot of money! Since this is a restaurant/market in one, it has a more casual atmosphere and it feels homey and comfortable. The chef is old school Korean, didnt take our name or number for the order, but cooked a great meal. Having been to Korea over 100 times this is just like being in Korea and is not Americanized. Let me tell you guys this place is a hidden gem the staff are sooooooo cool and nice. What I like is that I saw the owner or at least he looked like the owner he treats his staff with respect and the workers are beyond customer skill oriented they prepare everything delicious. A restaurant in a market you know what comes out of that kitchen is fresh and delicious. I been coming her le for years it keeps getting better and better I hope the owner sees this. The entire menu is to drool for 🤤 🥰🤌 this is what I call an actual Restaurant one and only experience. Props to the cooks

Threatened to leave if food did not arrive in 5 minutes. This place has great potential…but that’s all it will ever be if things don’t improve.

Recently went here with my boyfriend and we ordered bulgogi, kimchi fried rice and black bean noodles. Everything was so delicious, and a 9-10/10. Everything had the right amount of spiciness. Will definitely go here again to try some of their other dishes.

Amazing Korean food. Looks locally owned. My go to dishes would be spicy pork and beef tofu soup. Honestly, big portion sizes. Comes with random sides which is always nice. Food comes out fast even when theyre busy.

A great place to come shop for Korean groceries. Theres a decent selection of products to cook and prepare your own food at home. Attached to the shop there is a place to order Korean dishes. The bibimbap and bulgogi are popular dishes. The black bean noodles in sauce and kimchi stew are also delicious. The waitstaff and clerks are warm, friendly cordial and very patient. They will answer questions you may have about the menu items. The items are moderately priced, and the dishes are a good size.
The best and most authentic Korean restaurant in Fresno so far. The food was good. The cooks can speak Korean and Mandarin. There is also a little store next to the dining area. Theres not much to see, but I did find a rare brand of milk tea that I have only been able to find in mainland China.
I went by today because I was looking for Korean food. What I got was amazing! I ordered the Kimchi Soup to go, it is fantastic. There is also a Korean grocery selection to browse. I picked up the big jar of home made Kimchi. I have to say this is great Kimchi, there is also cucumber kimchi that was very tasty! I greatly recommend coming here! The food is amazing and the workers are nice people. I will definitely be coming back and can’t wait until I do!

The food was great and customer service was exceptional. Dine in came with free side dishes and rice, so you dont have to spend much to get full. The people who works here are nice and attentive. We packed our left-over food to-go and the lady gave us additional side dishes. Will definitely be going back!
I appreciate that this place exists. I loved Korean food from the first time I tried it. Its also nice that there is a market attached. Unfortunately, I think the food was a bit bland here. I also questioned how hygienic it was considering how some things looked and how some things are done. Im not a fan of the cup of silverware being on the table for everyone to grab from. I dont trust that the people sitting at the table before me managed to pull from them without touching the others and I think that kind of stuff should be avoided, especially during a pandemic. I also cringed a bit inside when a side dish was set on our table, the server came back a minute later when he realized it was meant to go go the other table, and he brought it straight to the other customers. I would not eat a plate that was on another table. I do appreciate how kind the gentleman working are, but I dont think Ill be returning.
Its not the best Korean food you can have in the US (they are in LA, of course), but not the worst either. I could see that the oweners of the restaurant were doing their best to cook many different kinds of Korean foods with fresh ingredients. I would say the food is not perfectly authentic Korean food, but a bit like Chinese food. I would suggest to owners that they provide non-spicy side dishes alongside some of their existing ones. Four spicy side dishes are a bit too much even for Koreans. You can consider some green veggie namul (steamed and lightly easoned with salt and sesame oil) or gyeranjjim (steaned egg)

Its a small store/restaurant behind motel 6 off Blackstone in fresno, ca. I know with everything going up, portions are very small for it price. I ordered BBQ combinations & all meat were seasoned with the same sauces. It was very salty. Trust me most asian people like salty foods but their bbq being a korean tiny restaurant was super salty. It was not worth it. The soft tofu soup was decent. Thats why I am giving it a 1 start. If it wasnt for the soup I would of given -5 sorry. Wont be going bck.
Found this place two weeks ago. We had the spicy pork, & beef bugolgi. It was so delicious, we went back last week too! The portions were big, so we got to have leftovers for dinner. Great service, and in a cozy setting. Cant wait to go there again!
The food was so good for a great price! I got the rice cake and dupling soup and my husband got the combination meat plate! The sides were good too! Prefect portions to fill us up! And the market is really cool too; we bought sweets for dessert after our meal!
Great Flavor for the Bulgogi. Definately the Hole in ths wall spot you want to stop in for. Its located in the store, that is the only reason they get the 4 stars on atmosphere. They make it work.

Just found out about this place a few days ago & it’s definitely a hidden gem in Fresno! The food is authentic & the quantity of it was even too much for two to finish! Will definitely recommend for those to try and will be returning to try out other dishes!!We had the Bimbibap, spicy noodles, and combo meat plate. Total less than $35 for all of this. this is not a ordinary “restaurant” and the lady and the guy were really kind! Loved the service and was not disappointed.
Its a little place thats a shop and a restaurant. The ladies there are very nice and were excited to see me come in! The food was pretty good, especially within Fresno, this is a place has pretty decent prices for Korean food. I got Korean ice cream in the shop after my meal, which was nice~ Only downside for me was that it is far from where I live and work. But its a nice, easy shop to visit if youre looking for a simple meal.
My daughter brought me here and I love it. Finally got to try 1 of the famous Korean noodle, black bean noodle and it was really good. I went to another Korean bbq restaurant and karaoke place and wanted to try the black bean noodle but they were sold out for the day. But this place here actually served it.
Interaction is a little awkward because the lady that works there doesnt speak much English. Besides that however the service is really great. You can hear and smell as your dish is being made and it is done in a timely manner. The food itself is super delicious. It is connected to a small Korean market so you can treat yourself with some Korean ice cream after!

Their food is very authentic. Being from So Cal, it has been hard finding good cuisine here in Fresno. I ordered a Bibimpab. Delicious.My only gripe is the food was spicy. Too spicy for me. Including the Kimchi. I dont like spicy and it ruins the flavor for me.Im going to get some food today and try it out for the second time but different dishes
For a restaurant that is hidden away and kinda hard to find, they make awsome food. Buggogi, noodles with black bean sauce, and many other dishes. If was able to rate higher, most definitely would. Very reasonably priced, and they do door dash. To top it all off, they also have a Korean market with all kinds of delicous korean foods. This is a repeat restaurant to eat at again and again.
My sisters and i just had one of the best spicy tofu soup there. You will never know how great spicy tofu soup is until you have theirs. It is a family restaurant with only the parents working there, so there will be some wait but they usually have the Korean tv show on for entertainment while you wait. The price ranges about $10.99 and up but dont worry, they have side dishes too (their kimchi is really good, I like mine sour though) (idk if the side dishes are available for to go food). There are some language barrier, but dont worry, just point to the picture/food you want if you do not know the name of the food. They dont have a menu pamphlet because all the food is posted on the wall or by the counter. Hope you guys go and enjoy the food there.
Easily a favorite spot! The service was good, staff was friendly. The food is by far the most authentic in the fresno area. The portions are huge for the price. The list of positives for this place is absolutely endless!! Look forward to my next visit here.

You know, I wouldnt go here if there better Korean options, but this place is quite decent. Homely, decent food options. I dont recommend this for the Korean food critic but their bibimbap and soft tofu(soondueboo) is quite decent. Their galbi is inconsistent, it might be amazing one day and quite chewy the next. Overall great and I come here often
We like a lot eating out. Last night we arrived in this fine place which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely evening there with first-rate cooking and a well-trained team and a professional cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we will certainly visit again soon. We warmly recommend.

Hidden gem in Fresno! Bibimbap was delicious for only $10! It was big enough that I couldve only eaten half of it and saved the rest for second dinner, but it was too yummy.The owners were super friendly and even gave me a special box of pickled radish that they only make for the restaurant.Its in a hard to find location behind a motel... but, seriously, its the real deal. I will definitely be back and will bring everyone I can!
This place has everything thing you need to make authentic Asian food, except produce. The little market inside is so damn tasty! The owner also jars his own kimichi and I always make sure I have some in the fridge. Cool place and great for lunch!

Stopped in on a whim. Id seen this place in the past and have always been curious what it was like. I was pleased to find they serve bibimbaps, so I had to try one. For $9.80 (after tax), this was a pretty good meal! Most places Ive found in Fresno that serve bibimbaps charge $15+. I would have liked a little more meat, and I think a sweeter chili sauce would go better with the meal, but its still a lot of food for the price, and Im sure Ill be going back!
I have been looking for a Korean restaurant in the Fresno area that I liked every since my old restaurant closed. Asianas food was good, and the service was also good. There was a language barrier, (which was easily overcome) and they did not offer menus. So be prepared!
The people who work there are super nice and are always ready to help. The spicy rice cakes come with kimchi and cucumbers,and taste delightful minus the spice. Otherwise great service!

Brought our dishes without spoons or chopsticks. Half way thru our meal everyone got their complimentary side dishes (kimchi, etc) and we havent received ours yet. When side dishes came out they missed a side dish(bean sprout).

I love this place! I tend to come before traditional eating hours because it can get crowded. Banchan is always good - my favorite are the kongnamul muchim and kimchi jjigae.

All you can eat buffet style side dish. Portion is okay. Some dish are pricey. Black bean noodle not as good like buldok at Fresno state shopping center. Bulgogi is so good but small portion.

2023-05-06 23:09:07I love the food here, I got the glass noodles, and its really good. The lady who works here is very sweet and has good hospitality. The cooks seem to be pretty experienced as well whenever you see them cook along the side, which was very amazing. You can also buy snacks, drinks, ice cream, and more too. I also liked how you have K-pop music in the background, which sets a good atmosphere. Would definitely come again!

2023-07-18 11:32:32We love this place for authentic Korean cuisine, locally-made kimchi, a variety of free sides available, and just an overall pleasant atmosphere!When you enter pick up your drink at the refrigerator by the front register. I love the coconut drinks!Great for family style dining! We usually order a side and a few main dishes to share, and an individual rice for everyone. They have a great selection of free sides available for dine in as well. Highly recommended!

All the food is real good and authentic, also the flavor is outstanding, I love coming here with my wife and enjoying some good Korean food. I recommend this place 100%

2021-10-20 02:41:55This is a highly recommended place because they have authentic Korean food and they clearly make it with love. As cheesy as that may sound to you, believe me, you can actually see the cook making your food and it does such a fantastic job.They also have a market within the same building which is pretty nice because you can choose day to day Asian style food, drinks and sweets.Be sure to call ahead and order by using their Google maps number and not doordash or any other application because they will unfortunately not see most of that money. Make sure you help out the local businesses.But seriously, enjoy the food and enjoy the environment because its actually very nice.

2021-05-11 12:38:56Food taste super good. Price are reasonable. Odor inside the restaurant are neutral doesnt smell good nor stink. The restaurant and grocery store are in a same big room divided into two. The restaurant are located close to a big intersection which is Blackstone and Herndon Ave. From a 5 stars review I would rate the restaurant between 4.0-4.7.
