Other than scallops, rest food is very good either flavor or portion! But i do wanna complain that We got only 2-3 scallops for a over $30+ dish ?! Even though we talk to waitress couple times and what we got is they weight it before they cook, and they are not doing anything with it. Otherwise it will jump to 5 stars.

Roti prata and chicken satay are very good. The prata is very crispy and the mild spicy sauce is a perfect match for it. The chicken is grilled to just right and the nutty sauce add the flavor to it. Recommend to eat it right away. The softness goes away after cooling down. The Siam salmon is crispy outside covered with sweet sour sauce. Pad see ew has various vegetables, scallops, and shrimps in it. It’s very tasty. The papaya salad isn’t what I have expected. The sauce tastes too much like oyster soy sauce to me. Overall it’s a great meal!

Have been to this place many many times and had to provide a review. The place is a great fusion of Malaysian food and their choices are fantastic! They have indoor and outdoor seating and are usually a fairly quick turnaround type spot. Our appetizers came out within minutes and everything was super fresh and delicious!I am a huge fan of their roti prata, papaya mango salad, mango delight vegetables, basil fried rice and their curry.

We recently visited Banana Leaf for dinner and although the restaurants location, services and indoor/outdoor seating were pleasant, we found that the taste of the dishes was not up to par compared to pre-pandemic times. I would opt for their sister restaurant in Menlo Park (Black Pepper) for Malaysian food.

Been here couple of times, tried different dishes, sometimes got surprised, but never disappointed. My favorite thing here is their deep fried ice cream dessert: it costs like a decent meal, but also enormous size, we were able to split it for four people and everyone got enough.Interior is very simple, and also tables stand very close to each other. Seems like they tried to fit as many chairs as they couldPlace is very popular, so at evenings expect some wait time to get a table or book it in advance.

Made reservations as I heard this place gets busy. We were seated immediately and menus can be scanned using the QR code. Waters were brought right away and we were given some time to look at the menu. We ordered Roti Prata (they recommend two orders for a party of three as each order only has one piece of bread). The bread was light and lacy and had a good curry sauce on the side. Next came the seafood laksa. Delicious curry soup, filled with a variety of seafood and two types of noodles (thin and thick). Indian mee goreng noodles were tangy and equally delectable. Finally, the Hainan chicken was soft and succulent and served with a comforting bowl of tumeric rice. Great balance of textures, flavors and aromas. Plenty to eat for a party of 3.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Banana Leaf Restaurant in Milpitas, California, and it was a culinary journey to remember! The attentive and friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable, guiding me through the menu and ensuring a wonderful dining atmosphere. With generous portions and reasonable prices, Banana Leaf Restaurant offers exceptional value for an exquisite culinary adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Milpitas.

Worst Veg Pad Thai Ive ever had. It was noodles with some random sauce, no flavor, no spices. There were no peanuts at all. I also dont understand how a restaurant can charge $19 bucks for a meal and not even have time to cut the veggies.

This place was so good. The food was so hot and flavorful. It was like a punch in the face in the best way. I was a huge fan. I was suggested this place by a local in the area and they mentioned it knowing I was a pescatarian. It was a great suggestion. When deciding what I wanted to order, I was between menu options. I made a great choice. Food was awesome and I got a huge table for myself haha

It’s Singapore and Malaysian special food restaurant. Overall food is delicious. Good choice to explore all kinds of foods. Fine apple fried rice is good.
