We always love to go this place because of their food quality and taste. This time we saw some differences in services. We took our both kids (One 4 yrs and another 7 months old) to treat their mom. Weve experienced some service gaps which we didnt have previously. They shutdown the AC but opened the door and provided a table fan where the outside temperature was around 84°F. Its been observed that both of my sons face turned into red due to hot weather. As they left the door open, flys were inside the restaurant which caused problems to have the foods.May be I will not go there anymore.

We used to love this place, went yesterday to have birthday celebration. But, unfortunately this place is no longer it used to be. They gave glass without washing it, clearly it was observed that the water glasses were used.They turned off AC, which was shocking while left the the door open. My kids suffered from hot, flies were moving around. So, disturbing to have food.It was a terrible experience and decided not to go again.Recommendation to B. BBQ: Please increase services.

Cozy, family-owned Thai restaurant that’s been long-standing in Walnut. My family and I have been coming here for reasonably priced, tasty Thai food. It’s in the Vons complex so there’s plenty of parking and booths inside. We ordered takeout for lunch on a Tuesday and the food was ready in 25 minutes. They take credit cards ($10 minimum), otherwise there’s a fee if your order is less than $10. Their weekday lunch specials are a good deal as there’s plenty of food (enough so that you can have leftovers for the next day). It comes with a small side salad and fried or steamed rice. The pad thai is my go-to, and comes with chicken and one shrimp. The pad see ew isn’t on the lunch special menu but the regular price is still under $10, and it’s a generous portion.

Used to love this place but I think they may have changed owners.😞The prices have gone up 3-4 times.. They have eliminated most is the items on the lunch menu and the portion sizes😞 also the Menu in general has changed.. very limited, no more BBQ ribs or other house specials etc. Will not return. So sad for the change..used to be the go to in Walnut

Weve been in a few Thai places in Diamond Bar, Chino Hills and Walnut area. This one has the most flavorful dishes so far. Were really happy leaving the place and Sai (?) was awesome in taking care of us.

I have been to this plaza many times and didn’t know there was a Thai restaurant. The sign wasn’t visible but the food was great. It was very tasty. The portion was good for the price. Even on the weekend, we were able to get the lunch special

First time here, and the food is really great. I was warned about the long wait, and its true. As the only table in the restaurant, it took 40min to get our 3 entrées, and appetizer. It looks like its run by father and son. They even use disposable wares to cut down turnover rate, but the issue is probably their combo menu. Poor chef probably making more dishes than he needs per person.

This place is not consistent with there food sometimes the food is good sometimes its awful . So I complained two times about the same thing my rice. I also spoke to the owner, and she brought it upon herself to prepare my food...”it was worst.” I topically would stick to the same order most of the time shrimp fried rice and the orange chicken, now the problem I had with the rice most of the time was it was overly cooked with egg shells, with the orange chicken sometimes the pieces would either be to big or there wouldnt be enough orange sauce leaving the chicken dry.... Mind you that I have been going to this location on and off for years, spending at least $40-$65 each time. One thing I do know is they change off chefs, but either way its not fair to us customers(.) Also If you complain they will refuse your business. Be aware of what Im letting you know about this Bussiness- save your time & $$$.

So far, Ive been here for lunch often 5 times over the past to weeks. Im in the area only Tuesdays and Thursdays so far. I happened to be in the area today, Friday, and went to Bantook Thai for lunch. Ive been enjoying the lunch menu. Curry tofu, curry chicken, and orange chicken. The fried rice is the best Ive tasted, actually. I quite enjoy it, both with the curry and solo. The Thai iced tea is delicious! The staff are always friendly and tend to predict what Ill order. The food comes out hot, delicious, and quickly. Highly recommended for lunch. The price is right, too.

I made an telephone order for pickup. It took less than 15mins. I asked for less salt and full vegetarian green curry with tofu, and got what I wanted. No rice, just curry total was about 10 dollars. The portion was okay. I think the best deal would be lunch or if you get it with meat haha. My dinner was good. The place felt nice and cozy and authentic in my view. Not bad to take your lady for hungry hour. Good for the local folks, the restaurant maybe too small for groups, there is only about 6 small tables. Would go again! Parking is shared with adjacent stores within the plaza.

This is the second time I’ve eaten here. The first was the green curry lunch special. Very good and it warranted a return. Today I had the bbq chicken special and it’s a big plate of food and the chicken was cooked perfectly! I know my Thai food and this one holds its own for sure. Would recommend this place whole heartedly. I’ll be back many more times while I’m in town for work. Looking forward to the leftovers for dinner tonight.

As a Thai citizen longing for the food of my people, I was cursed with bad luck in my culinary search for the authentic cooking I loved so much. Most Thai restaurants have one good dish. One dish they excel at, but neglect the quality of their other menu items. This is where Bangkok BBQ shines. From the perfectly seasoned Pad Thai that isnt too sweet, to the humble BBQ Chicken that is eternally moist and perfectly seasoned, to the rich and aromatic Tom Yum soup, and even to the simple yet hearty fried rice, each item on the menu is bursting with the flavors of my childhood. The service is impeccable as the staff is always friendly, providing expert recommendations that never fail to satisfy. Easily the best Thai restaurant in the area.

Unfortunately this is another restaurant that suffer due to the Covid restrictions. It used to be a warm, welcoming and tasty place to go to. Now, food is not good and the service is rude. So sad this place went down so much.
