Went on a weekday and was disappointed with the limited menu, still gave a try to thali and chole bhature.Neither of the item tasted good.Below average food but the only good part it the money goes to the temple. So, won’t say wasted money there but nothing good about that taste.

Great store to shop for a wide variety of Indian snacks. It’s all vegetarian store. They have all kinds of sweets like kaju katri, peda, pak, and many others made of milk, nuts, sugar and jaggery. They have savory snacks that are usually consumed during festivals or even during fast. They also have a cafe serving fresh food like samosa, dabeli, poori and sabji, dosa, thali and much more. Definitely visit this when you visit the temple which is a wonder of its own kind!

First, I love Indian cuisine. When I was transitioning from meat eating diet to non meat eating diet, Indian vegetarian food helped me a lot with the savory craving. My first experience with vegetarian Indian food was in Vallejo, CA. Vaishnu vegetarian Cafe. ❤️❤️ It is closed now. Maybe the owner is too old to manage. Sad. Everyone in my family loved that place! So my Indian vegetarian experience ever since will always be biasedly compared to the taste I acquired from that place.Hahaha. Ok.BAPS Shayona Cafe is not that bad. It has a lot of Indian food and desserts. Having learned how to make many of them myself (Vaishnu inspired), I bought a few and didnt really enjoy them much. There are A lot of deep fried foods. The roasted poha is good, but is a little bit spicy.Ive been here a few occasions and always wanted to try the thaali ($10, 5 items meal). The picture looks good. Apparently, it is only offered Thursday through Sunday, according to the staff. It can be busy on weekends, so get ready for long lines. For the thaali:Big portion of plain basmati rice, good old rice without cumin.A piece of Kopra paak (I dont like this one because the coconut is dry. I bought a whole container once, and it has a weird fat smell. I dont know what it is),sambar, medium thin consistency and has a hint of either tofu or coconut milk resembling Vietnamese vegetarian Curry soup. It is on a sweeter side to me. Has a piece of curry leaf floating.three roti, kind of transparent. I dont like them.and the main dish. It is like veggie korma without the yogurt. It has paneer cubes, beans, peas, bell peppers. Its not bad.I would recommend to check the cafe out. 👍🏼And they accept credit cards! ☺️

Pure vegetarian food. No onion or garlic for those with restrictions. Had had shared chole puri (garbanzo), pav bhaji, and aloo puff (potato) and mango lassi and cold coffee. Food is made fresh daily wirh consistent taste and quality. Egglless cake was bit sweet.

I love Indian food, although I dont have a buffet, I could see the number of people who were in line to be served, I bought these two products which have discretion in English. I had the service and recommendation of an employee who helped me choose. If youre in the temple, its worth stopping at the market thats still next door, which has a souvenir shop, books, incense, and more.

Absolutely beautiful temple. I always feel so peaceful coming here. I love how disciplined the temple is. No talking, no taking pictures in the main temple. Its your time to worship and its feels so relaxing not to be attached to electronics or any other things and just enjoy worshipping and the beautiful ambience. Great places to take pictures, wedding or any celebrations. Would highly recommend everybody to visit if you are looking for a peaceful day 🙏
