BAPS Shayona Caf
15100 Fairfield Ranch Rd, Chino Hills, CA 91709, United States
First, I love Indian cuisine. When I was transitioning from meat eating diet to non meat eating diet, Indian vegetarian food helped me a lot with the savory craving. My first experience with vegetarian Indian food was in Vallejo, CA. Vaishnu vegetarian Cafe. ❤️❤️ It is closed now. Maybe the owner is too old to manage. Sad. Everyone in my family loved that place! So my Indian vegetarian experience ever since will always be biasedly compared to the taste I acquired from that place.Hahaha. Ok.BAPS Shayona Cafe is not that bad. It has a lot of Indian food and desserts. Having learned how to make many of them myself (Vaishnu inspired), I bought a few and didnt really enjoy them much. There are A lot of deep fried foods. The roasted poha is good, but is a little bit spicy.Ive been here a few occasions and always wanted to try the thaali ($10, 5 items meal). The picture looks good. Apparently, it is only offered Thursday through Sunday, according to the staff. It can be busy on weekends, so get ready for long lines. For the thaali:Big portion of plain basmati rice, good old rice without cumin.A piece of Kopra paak (I dont like this one because the coconut is dry. I bought a whole container once, and it has a weird fat smell. I dont know what it is),sambar, medium thin consistency and has a hint of either tofu or coconut milk resembling Vietnamese vegetarian Curry soup. It is on a sweeter side to me. Has a piece of curry leaf floating.three roti, kind of transparent. I dont like them.and the main dish. It is like veggie korma without the yogurt. It has paneer cubes, beans, peas, bell peppers. Its not bad.I would recommend to check the cafe out. ??And they accept credit cards! ☺️

Uminoya Ramen

Im sorry, but I have no idea why this place was rated 4.9 stars on Google. We came on a Wednesday night for the first time with a party of 4, including 2 kids at about 7 p.m.We went up to order our ramen dishes and a pork fried rice dish, but we were told not to order the fried rice because it would take much longer than the ramen, so we did not get to buy it even though we wanted it. They said that because there was no indoor seating available, it was takeout only, and it would be about 15 min to be ready. Fine, we dont live far, so it was no big deal. We ended up waiting 60 minutes for our food with exceedingly cranky and hungry kids. And while we were waiting for our food, 7 parties came, ordered their food, got their food, and had left!Prepare to end up waiting a very long time for your food with no apologies and a very upsetting experience.
Dragon Grill & Boba Tea
15709 Euclid Ave Suite D, Chino, CA 91708, United States
This place from the time I entered the doors until the time I left is worth every bit of 5 stars. Very warm and friendly environment and the lady behind the counter actually brought my to-go food over to me. The food was excellent, hot and fresh and plentiful without sacrificing the protein with vegetables. I ordered a combo bowl with chicken and steak, veggies and white rice and it was definitely one of the best meals Ive had in a while. Will definitely be back.
Toms Chino

Well, I go to all the other times in the high desert superve, especially the one on highway 18 in Apple Valley.Absolutely.Fantastic delicious food in excellent service but. I decided to eat at Toms in Chino because my bus was getting window tinting down the street. It was in walking distance so I ordered no problem that went smoothly but I asked for strawberry jam for my toast. Maybe I didnt speak the right language or maybe I didnt say things clear but strawberry jam is red jam for my toast. Never got it at all. I asked young lady the waitress. She brought me 21 strawberry and one apple and she forgot what I wanted on top of that, but she remembered the other customers. Orders and extra order that they ask for no problem. So, finally the lady that was picking up the dishes while I was just about done with my food. I still wanted the strawberry jam. No one came around to ask me that I want to extra load up on coffee. A refill no one service is terrible there or maybe I just was there and they hired the kids that were straight out of the diapers. I dont know, I own and I run a customer service business. Thats why I am very good at what I do because I watch how other people treat me when Im there now. The funny part is I tipped. No matter what I tipped, and it was strange how the Gladiator was cleaning, the dishes out told another person. Or ask another person to get me the jam. And they brought me 4 apple jam. Somehow strawberry and apple, thats not the same, but service overall, I would not and I probably will not go back there again. Little things like that I would lose my customers, if I did things like that. Then theyre gonna have a ton of customers, but they just wont have me. So Ill stick to the Toms that are up in the high desert. I wont ever recommend the one in Chino. Scarcely for breakfast that was horrible..
Riverside Grill & Bar

The good: fresh-sqeezed orange juice! The bad: ssslowww service! While service is kinda friendly, I cannot confim the quality of the meals being served here because of slow service ?. In the time it took a busy car wash service to clean our Dodge SUV (about 50 minutes), my wife & I waited 20 minutes to be seated, received drinks 7 - 10 minutes after, then spent the rest of the time (about 20 minutes) waiting for our waiter to come by and take our order. How does a car wash service hustle better than this small restaurant? So, I look outside the restaurant to compare the type of people employed at the car wash: mostly latin people (30, 40 year olds). The restaurant has a young crew! Is this really an issue of inexperience and/or lack of motivation? Or, perhaps an issue of leadership or the lack thereof? Not sure. It could be either one or both.Lastly: atmosphere. I dont believe quaint really describes this place. One reviewer described it as such, but I do not understand why. Eating areas are a bit small due to the compact nature of the building. The tarp that covers the patio area looks very old and worn.
Super Chili Burgers

TL;DR: Find somewhere with observed business hours. Or, play lucky day roulette and profit. It sends a bolt through my heart to rate this establishment. Its painfully clear that its the family hobby more so than a professionally operated business. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. Ive loved this place since I was a young child. So, why the resentment? You can have all these memories too.... IF they keep their doors open for you when it suits them. 6:18PM on Tuesday Jan 23, 2018: Closed. Their hours place them open until 9PM. This isnt the first time theyve been closed without notice during normal business hours. Yelp them, its a known habit to some. A habit which Ive now encountered twice against the fair warnings posted elsewhere and my own experience.Perhaps they can set up a fan club. The kind where they send text and emails to members when theyll be open for business. Until then, theyre not getting business from me again.Luckily, those countless referrals Ive given to friends/family about Super Chili Burgers in the past didnt make me a liar. Theyre a top notch establishment. I will not, however, offer further referrals for them to show up to a locked and empty building.
The Flinderstreet Cafe

This is a very nice place. Its clean; has a contemporary, trendiness to it; and the food is very good. We had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and the quality of the food was excellent! The bread is homemade, soft and delicious, almost a biscuity texture to it--a nice change from the normal, tough bread most subs are made with. The meat was very tender, not fatty in the least, and there was plenty of cheese. The sandwich was large enough for my husband and I to split... I would say 6-8 long, and it comes with a salad or chips. The salad wasnt the typical iceberg bagged salad that some restaurants use either. It had a nice variety of greens to it. And they brought us complimentary baby chocolate chip cookies. We had purchased a brownie for dessert, so the friends we were with had the cookies. The brownie was on the cakey side, so not really my taste, as I like them more of the fudge consistency like box mixes are. But it was large and had lots of chocolate. They have bottles of Mexican Coke - the way Coke was originally made with real sugar instead of corn syrup - so this real thing Coke lover was happy about that! The service was good, they have a decent variety of items from which to choose, even italian dinner-type meals if you dont want a sandwich. All in all, a great little surprise! Well be back, no doubt, and well be telling our church about it!
Flos 2 Family Restaurant
5650 Riverside Dr, Chino, CA 91710, United States
I have been coming to Flo's Airport Cafe #2, Riverside Avenue location, for many years. My favorite breakfast is Donna's Duet. The portions are generous on all the food they serve. I love Taco Tuesday....Flo's serves 3 fully stuffed tacos with rice and beans and a side of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Delicious. Flo's also makes their own homemade soup of the day. I have tried all the daily soups and was never disappointed. They make a delicious Asian Chicken Salad that is yummy and another favorite for me. I haven't tried the Fried Chicken plate yet, but other customer friends I have talked with raved about the fried chicken. The sandwiches are good too. I am a tea drinker. Depending on the weather, I will either order hot tea with honey and a lemon wedge or iced tea with a lemon wedge. Of course, you get refills on the tea or coffee. Flo's has a large menu selection, and specials are posted daily. I also enjoy their outdoor dining area. Occasionally, I take my old trained and certified Service Dog/Therapy Dog. He likes the outdoor dining area and fresh air. He quietly lays near my feet. Some customers don't notice him until we are leaving. Then they all comment how well-behaved and quiet he was. They also comment on his beauty.

Ordered the chicken steak (delicious and huge portion)Stinky tofu (with kimchi??)??Stinky Tofu King Kimchi must be ordered for an additional $2.99?Meatballs (very authentic, pink sauce and sweet)Crispy fried oysters (husband said they were delicious)and two cups of jasmine milk tea (you can't adjust the sweetness, but the sweetness is just right). The prices are affordable and everything is delicious. I thought there were only two or three tables and not many seats, but it turned out that the yogart next door also belongs to them, and the seats are very spacious. Comfortable, will come again next time!Taiwan No.1??????????

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ! Came here last Friday on February 9 about 5:30 PM. I ended up getting sick so I have not been able to Yelp this, first off we have been a loyal customer to this place for over five years and February 9 was the last time we will ever be here, my husband and myself and three of our children are out to dinner when my young son seven years old pulled something out of his soup attached are the pictures I couldnt even figure out what it was at first and I was stunned. I called the waitress over still confused I asked what the heck is this? And with a distressed face, she replied oh my gosh oh my gosh i so sorry I so sorry with her accent and said cook cut his finger and put that around it. I was mortified I was grossed out I was pissed off and then she said I can give another soup.I said no we dont want anything I said where is your manager and then she showed me the sign which I have pictured and you can see below I emailed three times no response, this is absolutely disgusting and gross. Weve been sick, sick to our stomach we will never be back at this establishment again!!! For them to not even respond back to me, is even more disgusting! Ive already left messages with the food health inspection of Chino there was literally blood on this bandage wrapped in whatever rubber that is!!!
