UPDATED REVIEWBurger lounge is an absolutely fabulous chain of premium Burger spots. Its expanding. This is a highly recommended place and this location is excellent. Why? Im not sure. Its surrounded by all sorts of stores and nothing. However its just a great location the service is excellent and Burger lounge is absolutely delicious. It can be pricey if you add things on but its also worth it. I definitely recommend looking for happy hour specials or coupons for that day and they often have them. Its a fabulous spectacular place. The burger has amazing taste and all of the options are good. This is a premium chain with a very luxurious, luscious, delectable burger or whatever you get is going to be premium and delicious.ORIGINAL REVIEWAmazing food. Lounge burger is amazing. I had The Husky. An absolutely delicious cheeseburger. Moist, full of beefy flavour, crusty on the outside moist on the inside. Perfect cheese, tomato and fresh onion. Great fries and onion rings. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cheeseburger.

Warning- they say online that they have 1/2 burgers for happy hour but when you get there they say sorry, only for chicken. I told them it’s a bait and switch and against the law to advertise online and then change policy, ( I pulled it up!!) the manager just shrugged his shoulders. I’m very disappointed, not how things should be handled even though I mentioned to him this is against the law he just looked at like like “oh well”

Christina Valenzuela is a narcissistic General Manager who refuses to use fatigue mats and allows the chicken to cross contaminate the burgers. Claims to be Hawaiian, but only drinks Mexican beer, despite obviously being a confused Latina. Loud offensive rap music is constantly being played throughout the day during service hours.

My food got bitter when I saw the very rude way that the manager treated the other employees, also how rude she behaved with a client to ask her to put on the mask (im sure she can comunícate the store policies in a good way) and the worst thing was when she sat down next to me to eat with his feet on the chair and eating in such an impolite way making all kinds of noises with his mouth while he ate. I will never go back !! Ever !!

Good food. Horrible parking lot. Be sure to check your order before you leave. We didnt get fries for the third time in a row. Its on the receipt, but we didnt get them. I know its my fault for not checking but I simply skipped it.... Again. Itll be another six months before we go back and hopefully Ill remember next time.

Great place with nice people. The cashier did not add fries to my order they brought me one for free without even asking. Will definitely be a regular here. Good job guys the classic burger is to die for and the fries the best anywhere I have tasted.

Great burgers and good customer service but expensive, even for the area. I paid a whopping 9.64 for a non-dairy chocolate milkshake. While I understand the non-dairy aspect will boost the price, 9.64 struck me as a bit too much. Otherwise, I would recommend the classic lounge burger and the onions fries, my meal of choice, when I go to any Burger Lounge location.

As far as burger lounges go this is the best one. By far. Wont even eat at another one. The one in Santa Monica or downtown SD not as good. Dunno why. The food at this one is consistently great. The service at this burger lounge is also great. The employees are outstanding. Dunno if it is just that management really knows what they are doing but it seems like that. From the hiring of employees and training to the consistent quality of the food and great atmosphere. We eat here probably 4-6 times a month.

They constantly mess up the order. Are unresponsive on the phone and don’t take any responsibility of the door dash company that delivers their order. Burger lounge just pass the blame on to door dash and door dash takes no responsibility whatsoever.

This place was surprisingly amazing! I had no idea they offered so many vegetarian and vegan options, plus they have a new vegan chicken that Im excited to try the next time I visit. I figured they would be a typical burger chain, but I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to going back to try new things.

Arrived just after closing at 8:01pm after being turned away from a competitor restaurant within walking distance. Food was great and service was friendly and upbeat. Great grass-fed burger with toppings and half fries/half rings side. Thank you, Burger Lounge! Im visiting from out of area with both parents hospitalized right now, so its been incredibly stressful. Theres no way you could have known this and I appreciate the awesome service. Happy to support a business like yours during a pandemic.

Burger Lounge Del Sur used to be one of our favorite go-tos for a quick dinner to pick up. Food was great, tasty, hot. But our last few visits have been disappointing with tonight taking the cake. We are there waiting for our take out order, but its now still always cold. My Turkey Burger was pink, undercooked and cold, and a gross soggy bun. The fries were cold again, and we ordered a large size, but it was definitely not, barely a regularsize. My husband added bacon to his burger which was just fat and chewy. I understand good staff is scarce in these current times, but the quality control is awful. Favorite place no more.

We really enjoyed burger lounge - a 4.5 as it was a very enjoyable meal, excellent service, but the side salad I had was very bland so I ended up not eating it. The burgers were all excellent and the kids enjoyed the chicken bites. The service was beyond what we expected from a burger joint. The staff were very friendly, worked hard to keep our drinks full and checked in on us multiple times. The ranch dip is delicious with the fries.

I went here to try their new plant based burger with Sweet Earth Foods - the Flora Lounge Burger with Plant-Based Protein to see what the hype was about. Since going plant based I am always eager to try new menu items like this one at my favorite spots...this burger was great. It tasted like my favorite burgers from Burger Lounge and I love that you couldnt tell it wasnt beef. I highly recommend the burger and cant wait to come back.

Burger is just so so, large fries is smaller than five guys regular size. I give 1 star because they are so damn slow. Ordered 2 burger waited 40mins. Waste of money and time. Staff there is inefficient. There were dozens of people waiting outside they are still going slowly. Won’t visit again.

So we really love this place. BEST shakes everrrrr. Beautiful salad. Burgers are amazing and cooked perfectly. I’ve never been in here before but so glad I decided to stop in. Also, it’s clean, comfortable to eat in, and the employees are very friendly. Really cool place, I highly recommend stopping in to try it! Website promised food at 5:50. Food came out at 6:25. So had to stand around 30 minutes. Website never confirms food is ready for pickup. To add insult to injury, the burger was rare inside (unsafe red looking) and charred outside, there was almost no lettuce, and the bun was hard. I ate around the edges and tossed it. A waste of $10. Plus, no one was enforcing mask mandate. Burger Lounge has really gone down in quality.

For a $15.00 burger plus tax & tip~ drink & fries or an onion rings choice- it was just “okay”.The grilled onions did not come on my small sized burger, I ordered. The OUTSIDE tables were NEVER CLEANED during the 1 1/2 hours we waited & ate outside. The lady waiting for her take away order had to wait the entire time we waited & ate our meal bc her order was INCORRECT. The table of 2 grandparents & their grandson next to us had to go in 3 times to correct their order that WASNT RIGHT :(.Not very busy, at 11:30 on a Sunday.VERY DISAPPOINTED. This was my first time at Burger Lounge. My husband and I ordered lamb burgers and 1/2 and 1/2 fries/onion. We thought the burgers were delicious! I was especially surprised by the great service. We ordered at the counter like at a fast food place, but the difference was that once we were seated, the waiters/waitresses checked on how we were doing, asked whether we needed refills/condiments, and offered to grind pepper on our burgers. We were treated like we were eating at a fine dining restaurant!

One of my all time favorite burger joints. Parking is better here than the La Jolla location, the weather is nice inside or out, service is always great, and the food is delicious. If youre very hungry, getting their husky burger and a shake (or other fountain drink) is super filling, especially with fries.

Amazing food and above and beyond exceptional customer service. They even served water to dogs that were with their owners eating on the patio. They escorted the elderly out of the facility to avoid crowding and ability for easy exiting. I have never seen customer service this amazing! Pete is absolutely amazing and deserves a lot of credit for the wonderful environment of this restaurant! Job well done!! A+++++++

But we were late and far.Eventually refunded the full order. But our dinner was ruined.

Burger Lounge used to be such a great place to eat, but their menu has gone through some revisions recently. Now the burger patties dont even have the same size and consistency as they once did and the buns have shrunk in size significantly. I miss the old Burger Lounge menu, recipe and presentation. I ordered my burger medium, one patty was actually raw. The manager offered to remake the burger or gift card, I chose the card as my appetite was ruined. Came back and had a better experience. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in some time! My son and I ordered our meals standing side by side, because he wanted to pay for his own. My son got his meal after ~50-minutes and after my son finished his meal I asked the young lady to bring ours to go as it was now about an hour and fifteen minutes. I pointed out to the server that three tables around us did not even have people sitting there when we ordered, and yet all three of the tables had their food.As previously stated, we got the food to go, and my wife opened her container on the freeway only to discover a well done burger with no tomato, salad, or 1000-island dressing. Cross this chain off our list of places we would ever visit again.

This has always been my favorite place since they openedIn Fact, I drove 20 miles yesterday to take my sister to lunch at this particular Lounge Burgerunfortunately the burgers arrived Raw, very rawso we sent them back .Waited over 10 min. but when mine came back it was terrible.It had grilled onions as well as raw onions .I did not order cheese yet it had cheese and when I bit into the so called famous loungeburger grease dripped down my arms as though the meat had been deep fried.also. the Patty had been smashed so flat that it was more than an inch larger than the bun.It was also cut completely in half so every time I would take a bite half the meat fell out the bottomI would not recommend this place ever again unless you only have some fries and a drink

The burgers and fries were really good but I cant justify a full meal for $15, even if they are organic.And for some reason, organic food never seems to feel me up. I finished my meal and I was left hungry.This lot can be a nightmare at times. The management company needs to invest in more parking spots or a parking garage. Im pretty sure most customers will drive somewhere else if theres no spots available.

The service here is really good, especially the manager, he sometimes will you give you a sample of the soda. I think Im thinking of the manager thats around during lunch. Used to be great. Some years ago before all the vegan additions I would go weeky to BL in la jolla. Just tried again today, wow, what a letdown. Buns taste chalky (I guess theyre whole wheat now), meat was literally burned to a crisp. And its even more expensive than it used to be. $37 for 2 burgers, one large fry, water and a kids meal. Really cool burger joint. Ambiance is really nice. Onion rings are the best in the world. However I dont recommend the chicken sandwich. Its extremely thin with not much meat. Because of this, I burned my tongue pretty bad. Still hurts a day later.

Used to be good, but now cant get any order right. I was eating here once a week, but my last 3 orders were all incorrect. Just a simple cheeseburger w onion cooked medium but that has apparently become too complicated for the cooks here. As a serious burger aficionado, I was highly unimpressed with this restaurant. The double burger was a single patty, apparently referred to as a double because it had twice the meat of a regular patty. I prefer my double burgers to be double in the traditional sense - two patties. The onion rings were battered and fried well, but completely and utterly flavorless. The lavendar lemonade was okay, but could use a little bit of sweetener. On the flip side, the service was good and the staff was friendly, so that was a plus. All in all, not terrible; but nothing I would ever choose to experience again.

The service was great, nothing on the employees. The food tastes great. The big problem I experienced besides the outrageous prices was the fact that when you ask for a lettuce wrapped burger it is not wrapped. There a piece under it and a piece on top you can not pick it up and eat it, they give you a fork and a knife. Totally defeats the purpose 😂

I love the rotating specialty burger, especially the elk or bison burger. They have to be eaten rare, or medium rare max. Anything more will shorten the fibers too much, and turn it into a hockey puck. The last time I ordered rare, they forgot to sear the 2nd side and it was mushy.The onion rings are delicious.

How is this place still open? Absolutely the worst customer service in the world. I walk in. There is a sign that says phone orders. I walk over to get it .. a woman says DONT TOUCH THAT... I said this is mine and it’s in the to go table. She says again, louder in front of 10 people DONT TOUCH. She then proceeds to help the other two people then come around the corner to tell me she will being it out to me in a moment. Calling manager about this .. absolutely awful service and an embarrassing moment. There is no sign that says don’t touch.

This is the first Burger Lounge we discovered, and man were those burgers good. A little pricey, but these are not your ordinary burgers. Great choice if you are craving a burger and want something special.
