Cajun Crackn Long Beach in Long Beach

Family was craving shrimp so we ordered from Uber eats. I was really looking forward to this amazing food. Received my order and unfortunately was very disappointed. Smelled amazing but the bag they send us our shrimp in didn’t even have enough juice so the shrimp, potatoes and corn were very dried. No flavor what so ever. All I was smelling was the garlic. I had to redo the sauce and add some condiments to enjoy it which wasn’t my plan in the first place. I wanted to sit and enjoy without the hassle of cooking. Also, it’s like $30 just for the shrimp. You have to pay extra for potatoes, corn, etc so it adds up. It’s not like kicking crab or the boiling crab where it’s included so be aware of that and the Shrimp are small size when u order peeled. I’m not a fan of the whole body type of shrimp.I definitely Wouldn’t recommend this place if your doing take out. I mean it might be better at the restaurant when you eat there but for take out it’s a no for me.

New Cajun Style Seafood place at the Long Beach Town Center where El Torrito used to be. Great service and delicious seafood! Be prepared for a culinary experience. If you plan on getting one of the seafood boils like we did, dont wear anything you dont want to get dirty, because its meant to be messy! They give you aprons that help, but Id still make sure to not be wearing anything you wouldnt mind if some butter or other sauce dripped on you. They give you gloves too, but its much easier to just eat with your hands lol 😆 I had mine with Crab, shrimp, and sausage with the lowest spice level. It was perfect. We also had the calamari that was also super tasty. 👌If you love seafood, you gotta try this place! We will be back!

I usually dont write reviews often but after visiting this place today if I dont write a review it will not be a foodies justice :) First when I enter to this place hospitality thats been received from the Manager, ( I think Katherine) was excellent. Very humble, polite down to earth manager then followed by each and every staff that keeps on checking anything else is needed constantly. They have huge sitting which gives the place more relaxing vibes with no rush. Lastly, the food. Great Quality seafood. Being a sea food lover I can tell they have superb quality. Will soon visit there again.Thanks Andy.

This place is under new management & the seafood is way better than it was last time we were here. I got shrimps with king crab legs and they were seasoned perfectly! 10/10 recommend!

For my crab, i would give 0 star if it let me. the crab smells and turned black inside already....

This little gem was a happen stance find. Went to grab bite at neighboring spot but the wonderful aroma lured us here. Great portions for price. Fried fish & shrimp well seasoned & the crab boils were great!!!

Great service, everyone super nice, food really good. The kitchen got our food wrong,but it made a couple to fix it. Highly recommend.

I’m not a Cajun food connoisseur or anything but this was not at all what I was expecting. The food was decent, but I felt like it should have had a little more oomph to it- my po’boy sandwich was so bland (but the soft shell crab did look cool, crawling out of the roll, haha). The fries were simple industrial “seasoned fries.” Pretty basic Cisco truck fare, lol. My sons fried chicken basket was tasty though, but not seasoned like I would think Cajun would be. I wanted to get a little taste of authenticity but I felt like this had a quality more like fast food than sit down; like it wanted to be more pleasing to more people rather than be truly something novel or original. A shame, since there’s not many Cajun eateries in the area! For the most part it was still fresh prepared and tasty…. However, the deal breaker for me was the disposable cups, ramekins, etc. This really gave it a fast food vibe for me :(

Great customer service. Got the King Crab by itself. It was fairly priced, but Portion was a little light to my liking.

I came here to try the food and was excited to eat some crab. I figured it might be a good place to bring family too and the sentiment is NEVER. I pinpoint my need to run far away was when the appetizer came and from there it was an unnerving feeling that I made a mistake coming here. The waitresses demeanor were a huge factor in that decision. From the moment I walked in the greeter looked surprise to see me before they got their composure together to then the actual waitress bringing me the wrong item I selected after I went into a discussion of what each item is ( I love crab legs but dont want the actual crab to stare at me in death ). One of the surprising things was the lack of knowledge when it came to what the flavors are. Even if you dont like seafood and are there for the paycheck at least gain working knowledge to help me make good food choices when I dont have a clue to how the restaurant seasons their food. By the time I paid and left there I saw one staff member was pre-occupied on their phone and there was nobody else on the floor. Typically when you leave a restaurant somebody thanks you for coming and says bye. There was none of that. Overall my one regrettable visit here was it. Would I recommend this place? No.
