This place seems to have good service but for being my first time here it is the most unpleasant experience ever, my wife my baby and I were waiting at the entrance for more than 10 minutes for the hostess to give us a menu never showed up, we sat down thinking that there was not hostess in this place and were waiting for the waitress and never showed up either, my wife went to talk to someone to see if they can take our order, the cashier could not find someone to take care of us and send us to the table, we sat down again and nobody went to give us at least the menus for another 20 min. It is disappointing that being the first time in this place, we had our first time experiencing the worst customer service. Let me clarify that this happened in a Monday where it was not busy at all.Never coming back to this unpleasant place

Ordered a pizza and salad. Pizza was not close to what I ordered and the salad was wrong also. The name on each was correct. We expect the same attention to detail for orders, the way you expect us to pay our hard earned money for this food. The order was zero % correct. That has to almost be deliberate.

Waiting for seating over one hour and still did not get the seat. Two girls at the front said seat for 13 party got to be only the seat at the front and still not occupied. We saw a lot of empty seats about 10 tables in the back area. Asked the manager why not connect table for us. They said the back areas was not for party of 10 max.

I came in for the dodgers free pizza deal. I enjoyed a sparkling lemon and blueberry drink, a Caesar salad, and a small pepperoni pizza. Pizza. I sat at the bar because the restaurant was quite busy. I had an enjoyable experience. Our server. Brett was attentive.

The waitress was AMAZING...unfortunately, I didnt get her name but she had blue and purple hair.Food came out in a timely manner so that was ideal.What we ordered:Tortilla Soup: Perfect texture with the right amount of tortilla strips on top. I added hot sauce which gave a great kit.Chicken Piccata: Unfortunately, this dish was toooo lemon-y for me. I know it should taste like lemons but there was so much I felt to tingle of citrus lingering. If you adore lemon, go for it.Ribeye: Lovely plating. The steak was glistening. The fingerling potatoes were decent, temp on some a little to cold for my preferenc. Arugula for me is always a fav.Thai Crunch Salad: My daughter ordered this with avocados and extra dressing on the side. I had some and it was fresh and the flavors were terrific. I really wanted to eat more but I had to be a considerate parent and not scarf down her food.Wedge Salad: I cannot provide any feedback since Im not a fan of blue cheese.Tip: If you like the herbs in the oil for the bread ask for extra herbs...its sooooo delicious. I must say that this place surprised me thoroughly. The Margherita pizza is on point, wonderful thin crust that is nice and crunchy and holds it shape when picked up. The flavors of the fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil were there as well. The jambalaya linguini was also really good, pasta was cooked to perfection, and the cajun flavors were all there. The shrimp on the pasta was also perfectly cooked, most places tend to either overcook or slightly undercook their shrimp. My only complaint was the service, not once was I asked for some cheese nor a refill on my drink.

The restaurant was way too cold. You cannot enjoy your food because of how cold it is. This place serving size is way smaller than the CPK in Lakewood. The service was okay but I couldn’t get a refill on my drink. Take a sweater because it is just to cold. Their windows are very dirty too

Love this place, specially avocado club egg rolls. Salmon is good too. But a little comment on mac n cheese, my kids said not enough cheese on it and its in the picture that I post and we order Pasta with Alfredo sauce same thing not much alfredo sauce on it. Hopefully next time they ask kids if want a little more cheese on it . I still give 5 star coz Im happy with my food, will try another menu when we go back.

Worst experience Ive had here Vel the waitress is the worst waitress that Ive ever encountered. Waited over an hour for half of our order she was rude and had no way with people. The issue was that I used the wrong name for the garlic creme and over that she was extremely rude..Dont work in customer service if your attitude is ugly. I give it 2 stars because the manager at least took over and apologized for her rude attitude.

OK OK OK, let me put you on to the lunch special here. You get a 6 or 7 pizza (i dont remember) and a side salad. I do the bbq chicken pizza and bbq chicken pizza. Its $12, and I get the butter cake. If you like eating until youre physically ill this place is top notch.

California Pizza Kitchen aka CPKThanks to a gentleman that is named Mr. Waimren, he met my son at his school today 03/19/19. His wife was his 2nd grade teacher and they had some kind of career day at school. My son enjoyed Mr. Waimren and his pizza making skills. He loves pizza that son of mine. Mr. Waimren gave everyone a free kids meal card and my son was all excited so we went to have dinner at the Cerritos mall CPK. The hostess was very nice and kind, very nice demeanor and helpful as well, the waitress/Server was equally as nice and kind. Well I liked the flatbread small plate I had ordered. I liked that it was small and light enough to eat as late as it was for me to eat. This is my 2nd time eating at a CPK ever so far. So as the Terminator stated in his famous one line : Ill Be Back .

Ive been living in the city of Cerritos for a very long time, I used to actually work in the Cerritos Mall back in 2013 before becoming a emergency room nurse. Im back in the day. I used to get a strawberry daiquiri from California Pizza kitchen. They used to have a bar where they made the strawberry daiquiris. This is where my addiction for daiquiris were created actually... When I finally came back this year to watch Guardians of the Galaxy with my cousin, we wanted to pregame it by having a daiquiri for old times sake... And they said they stopped making it... Whats the purpose of California Pizza kitchen without this drink! Lol I could literally make pasta at home and buy a better Pizza at a pizzeria... Anyways not trying to bag on this company but please bring back the daiquiri! You are losing lots of business....

Horrible. My family and I stood in the middle of the restaurant where the greeter was supposed to sit you for over 15 minutes (with no one else in front of us). I finally told my wife and daughter to sit at an empty table while I continued to wait. I saw the manager sitting at one of the booths speaking to what looked like a potential chef he was interviewing. One server walked over and answered a phone right in front of me not bothering to acknowledge my presence. I followed her back to the bar when she finished her phone call to ask her if we could be seated. She had already jumped on another phone call at the bar but I asked her anyway. She told me to wait back at the center of the restaurant for the hostess. I went back and no one being there I asked the gentleman who was cleaning the floor to get the hostess. He seemed upset by the question. Finally a server came and told me they had no hostess for the day. Total incompetence. A poorly run business executed by poorly run leadership. They should be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully their corporate office reads this and makes a few much needed adjustments.

So I went here Sunday the 8th and ordered a BBQ pizza and creme penne pasta... The pizza was poorly dont and had little flavor.. The penne pasta had 0 creme... But... The kicker is this.. I ordered it with the added $3+ chicken.... Got the lamest smallest amount... Asked to see a manager... I had pasta, and my friend and her parents got salads. The salad portions were nice, but my pasta portion was small compared to the size of my friends salads. My friend also called in advance for a table and a high chair for her son, and was told that they could accommodate that. However, when we finally got seated at our table (a booth), they were unable to give us a high chair, because it would be a safety hazard. We were given a booster seat instead. They also did not have the door leading into the mall unlocked, though it was clearly labeled to have it unlocked during business hours. Our waiter was slow on service and he didnt seem like he wanted to be there. It wasnt a very good experience overall.

Terrible experience from beginning to end. If I could give it -1 stars, I would. I came here with my family to celebrate NYE, and from the hostess who gave us the table right next to the restrooms when there were several more available in the main hall, to the server, to the food, I will never return to this CPK location. Allow me to emphasize that I am not a picky or annoying guest at any restaurant I go to, and my family and I try to be as comprehensive as possible. We had to ask the server several times for napkins, silverware, straws, and plates for the appetizers. Well, we let that slide. Next, the main courses were brought to the table and one of the other servers spilled some linguini sauce over the table right on my side, and DID NOT bother to come back and clean it. I had to clean it up myself.The food was just awful, my barbecue chicken salad had chicken that felt like it was pulled straight out of the freezer and just dumped on to the plate. My sisters and mother’s pasta dish had uncooked pasta, and my nephews pizza was so stale and cold, he had to fight with it to slice it and eat it. We love CPK at other locations, I’ve had wonderful times and experiences at this chain of restaurants, but I had never come to this location, and believe me I will never be returning.

Got here about 9pm and was greeted by the hostess named Ivana. She immediately said they are not seating and immediately turned her back. When questioned again, she simply stated they have an hour wait and close at 10pm. There were half a dozen open tables! When told that she immediately changed her answer to short on servers, yet there was a handful running around. She said do take-out and again tried to turn away, totally dismissing us without caring. The manager also had no real reason about why, except to close quickly at 10pm.When you have an hour before closing and refusing service, there is a problem with your staff. Hadnt been to CPK for quite some time and decided to order take out earlier today. My wife and I ordered the classic BBQ Chicken Pizza. In short. . . .perhaps the worst tasting pizza weve EVER had - and thats saying something. The pizza looked almost as bad as it tasted and the only saving grace for us was that we used a gift card to pay for it. We would have literally been better off going to the grocery store and buying one of the CPK frozen pizzas and cooking it at home ourselves. VERY disappointed and needless to say we wont be back anytime soon which is a sad commentary given that we only live 5 minutes away from the Cerritos Mall. Gave one star only because the servers at the taken out counter were fast and professional.Update: management (Choung) from the Cerritos restaurant called me the day after I wrote my review and were very concerned about the experience that my wife and I had with the pizza we had ordered. They expressed their commitment to doing better in the future and making things right for my wife and I (note: that really wasnt out intent with our review but we certainly appreciated their offer). I have to give CPK 5+ stars for their customer service follow up as you rarely get such a fast response to the kind of complaint that we lodged. We will continue to visit the Cerritos venue given the commitment that management has made to their customers!

NOV 18TH - Kaysie is a really good Manager/Supervisor and she cares about her customers genuinely. This night Angela was our server, Jose Luis, Juan, uriel, Jacob, Justo and lets not forget the busser-cam. THIS WAS THE BEST CREW. Food was fresh and hot. everyone had a happy face and it was just a real Blessing to be there when Kaysie is there cause she is so friendly and helpful and her crew was awesome. ME & WIFE TAMMY had family visiting from Texas and they said you have to bring us back here because good customers service is hard to find when you choose a place to eat and they was so happy I choose my favorite location of CPK. As for the service I have never ever felt much rudeness in my life, it’s like they just wanted to kick us out of the restaurant, they would glare at us and whisper to each other. Our food took more than an hour to come while everyone else who arrived after us got their food, and to top it up they didn’t even get all our order, they missed 2 orders which I kept asking about and then 20 min later they come and tell us we did not punch it in the order that it was never written down. We went here for a birthday party dinner. I didnt feel like pizza. I googled ribeye at CPK. The comments said it was good but salty. So I ordered it with the blue cheese butter and Himalayan salt on the side. The steak arrived well-done, not medium as I ordered. I added a bit of the large crystal Himalayan salt. OMG. Just a little bit was way too much. All I could taste was the salt. I scraped off what I sprinkled. Still too salty. Then I took the broccoli and brushed off the remaining salt. It was now enjoyable albeit dry since it was overcooked. However, the broccoli was now too salty. My family loved their pizzas and their pastas. Silly me. I ordered a steak at a pizza restaurant. The most expensive meal on their menu.

I went there for my mother in laws birthday it was a party of 12. It was a long wait but it wasnt worth the bad service, salad and hard pizza we received. I spoke to the lady at the front desk to let her know that it was my mother in law birthday and if they could do something nice. She replied no problem Ill tell your server. My family and I have been to california Pizza Kitchen (CPK for short) over a thousand times and we have never been disappointed. CPK is an italian restaurant with some of the best food I’ve ever had. The service is great, the employees are friendly and the wait is usually not very long unless it’s a busy day. It’s also kid friendly for those kids who are really picky. One of my favorite things about them is that they give you bread while you wait for someone to take your order. You should definitely try CPK out sometime!

I absolutely love this CPK location in Cerritos! Everytime I go the experience is always awesome. The food here is always cooked perfect compared to some of the other CPKs I go to. Their staff is always wonderful making sure to take their time, never feeling rushed and when I come with the kids their team always interacts with them making them feel special. The five cheese pizza was good its about a medium 10inch and great for 2 people to share. The Chocolate souffle with the vanilla Haagen Daz was phenomenal and very delish. CPK is yummy and famous. This location is always packed and crowded. I enjoy all their pastas, especially kungpao spaghetti and garlic cream pasta. Their pizzas are good, kids meals are good portions for cheap. All their appetizers are delicious, but bit pricey for their portions.
