Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
11171 183rd St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
Busy location for pickup. The parking around the restaurant was full so we had to park a little far. The restrooms were clean. The food looked great, the flavor was basic. We had to wait a lot for a refill on bread sticks, drinks, and soup. We were a party of 6 so one bread stick per person. We asked 3 times for a refill on the bread sticks before we got them. She said they were being made and that is the delay. With the restaurant being so busy they should have sufficient and a member of our party worked at olive garden and stated that its not true they are always ready to just grab and serve. So either this olive garden server was fibbing or the restaurant was not being managed well. One of our guests ordered the endless soup, salad, and bead sticks. He got his first bowl with everyone elses soup. When we got our food he was left waiting for his second serving of soup. We attempted to be polite and wait, but it was taking a while and we requested the soup again and that took a while still. Overall the place is good, but not one of the best.

Holy soup! I don’t write review but this is worth mentioning. I ordered the Pho Oxtail, crunchy pork bao & Vietnamese ice coffee with cream. Wow! The Oxtail portion is very generous and it was high-quality meat. Menu says they braise it in broth for 5 hours. Ask for the secret homemade spicy sauce. It goes well with the Oxtail for dipping. They don’t advertise this on the menu.As for the ambiance, the restaurant is bright & spacious with lots of seating. I really enjoyed my meal and highly recommend the Pho Oxtail. ??
California Pizza Kitchen at Cerritos

C.U.P = Yuck!C.P.K = Yum!Free small plate for Pizza Dough Rewards membersNot being a frequent customer of California Pizza Kitchen, I can count the number of times Ive visited on one hand. However, Ive always been happy with the food Ive had here. Thanks to the avant garde imagination of Ed LaDou, who first made a name for himself at Wolfgang Pucks Spago, CPK offers up very non-traditional styles of pizza, along with pasta & other bites. The Cerritos Mall location has been a longstanding tenant throughout the years, affording an opportunity for mall goers in search of more sophisticated fare. The Original BBQ chicken is what first made CPK famous. For newbies, this is what I recommend first. Ive also enjoyed the roasted garlic chicken, the Thai chicken & the Jamaican jerk chicken. My absolute fav would have to be the roasted garlic & artichoke. Simple, elegant & mouth-wateringly good. I dont eat artichoke very often, so having this reminds me how great that vegetable is.Ive had the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and I melted with the first bite. Gooey, rich & great to share, this is not one to pass up.The plate I chose to redeem for my free small plate was the white corn guacamole. Avocado, sweet white corn, black beans, jicama, bell pepper, cilantro & serrano peppers. The guacamole was less in quantity than I wouldve liked, and consisted more of the white corn kernels where, I believe, more avocado wouldve been ideal. Nevertheless, it was creamy & delicious.CPK has lunch duos to attract the lunch crowd. A full bar with libations of various sorts for those looking for a tipple.A good amount of seating inside, with booths & bar seating. Al fresco dining for those looking for some fresh air. The take-out area is on the left of the restaurant. Service has been quick & efficient all the times Ive visited.Parking is at the eastside of the Los Cerritos Center.California Pizza Kitchen is one of the better quality chains to dine at. Interesting menu selections, good service & convenient location will always keep CPK as a potential place to eat when Im debating what culinary stop I want to hit up next.Highly recommend!NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
Panera Bread
11300 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
Pick 2 - For me, not for you ;pToday, my fatty self waddled over to the nearest Panera Bread for some light & healthy fare.I thought the Pick 2 option was what was in store for today -soup or 1/2 salad with a 1/2 sandwich - $6.99with 1 signature item - $7.99with 2 signature items - $8.99all with choice of baguette, bag of chips or apple slicesI opted for the Pick 2, 1 signature item dealio, with the Bacon Turkey Bravo signature 1/2 sandwich, Greek salad and a baguette.Bacon Turkey Bravo 1/2 sandwich had smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes and signature dressing on tomato basil bread. Very tasty. The bacon was crunchy, the tomatoes were juicy and the Gouda was smoky and rich. I added a packet of the complimentary Guldens spicy brown mustard to kick my sandwich up a notch and provide a nice nutritional boost. The Greek 1/2 salad had vine-ripened tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, pepperoncini, red onions, Kalamata olives, pepper, croutons & Panera Breads Greek dressing. Crisp, cool and refreshing. The salad was a nice complement to the Bacon Turkey Bravo. The baguette was simply a baguette and I gave it to someone else in my party.Overall, not bad at all. The portions seemed small at first, but I can say that my voracious appetite has been satiated for the time being. Of course, its a sleeping dragon that will rear its ugly head sooner rather than later, but its content for now. And if my appetite is happy, then Im happy ;pPlenty of table and booth seating, with the awesome benefit of free Wi-Fi for all you gamers, social networkers, Ebayers and online porn viewers. The A/C was on blast and the place was clean and spotless. Parking is in a private lot that may be crowded depending upon time of day. The lot is shared with Lucilles, Gatten Sushi, Chronic Tacos etc.By the way, some of Panera Breads iced coffee accidentally got into my cup of water. It was quite good ;pOverall, I recommend stopping by Panera Bread for the Pick 2 combo for a healthy lunch and/or dinner. Dont forget to sign up for their eclub for a free birthday treat.NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
Vinh Loi Tofu - 100 Vegan Food - Cerritos
11818 South St #101, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
First time here and we absolutely LOVED it. The atmosphere and food were amazing. The owner was more than hospitable; he made my family and I feel like weve been going there for years. We started off with the fried dumplings and their Sexy Buns. Fried dumplings were crispy but not oily or too fatty. They were tasty. The sexy buns were new to me so I didnt know what to expect but loved them. It was like Korean taco meat on a hot dog bun. The fresh onion and cilantro just made it taste that much better. These are a must! For our entrees, my nephew had the #5 ramen soup. The vegan ham and ramen were phenomenal. If youve had fried spam, it was similar to it but better. My sister had the orange chicken fried rice and although it was just fried rice, you couldnt even notice you werent eating real orange chicken. Crispy and tender with a orange zesty flavor. My niece and I had the #1 Kevin soup and that lemongrass broth was like nothing Ive ever had before. I added their shrimp to mine and it just added another layer of flavor. I finished it ALL! Best vegan soup Ive had. However, the #2 curry soup that my other niece had was my favorite. The depth of flavors was just unbelievable. That will be my next soup. For dessert, we had the Ube pudding and carrot cake. The pudding was a first for me and I loved it. If you like sweets like me, then youll love it. The carrot cake was supposed to be a treat for tomorrow but barely made it home. It was mouthwatering, sweet, and moist. Ill for sure come back again for the food, but I have to say that the authentic, welcoming environment is what sold me. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

First time coming to Mikiya Cerritos location and I can definitely say me and my friends love the vibe over there more than temple city. Everyone so lively and full of energy! I feel like we could talk to the servers and even the managers non stop! But we didn't wanna talk so much of their time. I just wanna say shout out to the manager Anchovies aka Anthony and his team for taking care of us. We came in with really low expectations due to our experiences at the temple city location but man Cerritos is a whole different ball game. Even though it was really busy we still managed to get everything on the dot. I felt like I didn't even need to raise my hand at all because our server Van was amazing.Him and Anthony were so sweet and they kept taking care of us. They convinced me to get the Diamond set when I was really wanted to go for the Basic. But thank god they made me change my mind. We opt in with spicy miso and House. We got all the speciality dishes. Everything besides the foie gras. Apparently they stop giving those out. The cherry on top is the a5 chuck ribeye 10/10. Sadly only ate about 6-7 plates before I tapped out ?sorry if my review is everywhere but I also forgot to mention that they also have a sauce bar!! With self serve ice cream 10/10. I wish temple city did have that over there. Overall 10/10 for ambience, 12/10 for Jessica, Van, and Anthony for doing a wonderful job, 20/10 for the food, and last but not least 10/10 for the wait even though it was busy we still managed to get sat down waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Hosanna Oriental Food
10028 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
A hidden gem in El Cerrito featuring household Korean foods. I came here looking for bean paste for a soup and tried some of the kimchi others were talking about. The kimchi they make here is exceptional. It is what I think about when Im eating lesser kimchi at Korean restaurants or other grocery stores. I will continue to buy it here. By the tub.
All About Pho - Cerritos
11265 183rd St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
Best pho I’ve had, and by a large margin! I’ve tried out like 20 pho places and nothing has wowed me like All About Pho has. For the price, the quality of soup is incredible, and they give you decent portions of it too, with free in house noodle refills. If you check in on Yelp, they’ll give you free tea which was some of the best tea I’ve had, which is coming from someone who does not prefer drinking tea. It was like having a taste of Vietnam in one cup and it was really refreshing. On the day I went, the broth was a bit too salty to my liking, but my overall experience with them over the course of multiple visits is that their soup is consistently still really delicious. Their hospitality is no joke either, they are sincerely so kind, welcoming, and attentive! The best pho in OC at the moment, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to find a better pho shop than this! Also, as a heads up, when you park in the plaza, you may miss this restaurant or have difficulty finding it, but it is right next to the Blaze Pizza.
Cafe 9ne
11100 San Pablo Ave #105, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
Superb sandwiches, strong (as advertised) coffee. Both staffers are engaged with customers, activity soliciting (and taking!) feedback from the customers of this new coffee/sandwich shop.A few things stood out to me, first - the good:They have a free library! A few small bookcases filled with a rather eclectic selection of books. I asked, and the books are free to read - and take with you! The take with you part is on an honor system that you will either return it or replace it with a different book.Among other things, I suggested that they add a squeeze bottle of simple sugar to their cream/sugar/etc bar of additions for drinks - as its the best way to sweeten cold drinks. They agreed - and pointed to a white board where add simple syrup (to coffee condiments) as already on their To Do list. But they went beyond that and offered to make up a bit - on the spot - so I could sweeten my cold pressed iced coffee (as Id already added sugar and stirred vigorously, I declined)! They also were quite interested in my suggestion to get their pastries from Starter bakery. Currently, theyre using City Bakery (the same ones Peets uses), but should business allow (they are, after all, a startup), they plan on switching to a premium bakery - and noted my preference. The bad:Nothing actually bad about my experience, but I see two obstacles to long term success of this startup: Parking and Seating.Parking: Cafe N!ne is one of a number of storefront businesses that share this corner mall. While the mall has a parking lot, far too many of the spaces were marked as Reserved for Bank of the West resulting in almost no parking available for the rest of the businesses. As I sat in their outdoor seating area consuming my delicious cold brew and ham sandwich, I observed no fewer than 5 cars waiting patiently for a non-bank space to open. This doesnt bode well for future visits.Seating: Its lacking. There is a 4 seat counter across from the cash register, and seating for another 12-15 people outside. Should their business attract the customer base that their coffee and sandwiches deserves, seating will be hard to find - impossible in cold/windy weather.I didnt ding any stars for these negatives. Cafe N!ne is a startup, likely on a limited budget. Im betting they took the space because they can afford it. Hopefully, they do well enough to move to someplace nearby without the negatives Ive mentioned. I hope they succeed.
