California Pizza Kitchen at Santa Ana in Santa Ana

Awesome deals and good food. $6 for a pizza and a beer. Thats the best deal around and fresh pizzas. Not to mention the beer is really good. Great service great atmosphere definitely recommend it. Take advantage of the happy hour specials.

There is no wait to be seated during lunchtime on Wednesday. However, we waited for a long time to place the order and even longer waiting for the food to be served. The server was great. The chaos did not stop her from smiling and making small talks with the customers. The customers next to my table had to pack their lunch to go. They are running late to get back to work. The place looked 90% packed but I only see one maybe two servers.

Our waitress didnt have a clue. She sat us down, said she was gonna grab us some bread its in the oven. A couple walks in and sits themselves at the bar and we see her go over to the bin that has all of the bread and she grabs some and gives it to them first. This is after the fact that another waiter grabs some bread for another table, and there was still some in the bin. We waited 5 minutes for her to grab ours and then finally take our order. And that took another 25 minutes to get to us, because she was busy serving the couple at the bar drinks and their food, which they ordered AFTER US. The table next to us ordered food to go and they waited for 30 minutes. And then we finally got ours. I ordered the buffalo bites. I saw it sitting in the window for 15 minutes. It was cold. Next came my girlfriends dumplings. They were also cold. Another 10 minutes goes by and our entrees finally arrive, and her chicken picatta is a disaster. The chicken was burnt to a crisp, the sauce was missing a vital ingredient, and also overcooked, and some of the peas were roasted to as black as my soul. We saw multiple other wait staff in the building, doing nothing. Sitting at the registers in the back thinking we couldnt see them talking about God knows what. This place is dismal and shouldnt be considered. The only redeeming quality was that the pizza I ordered was decent. The guy at the oven actually knows what the hell hes supposed to do. The rest are clueless.

They took my order on the phone and food was ready when stated it would be ready. Listened to my dietary allergies and requests not to have it on my food. Shocked that a salad is $20 nowadays. No wonder people go to McDonald’s haha. We wish our mac and cheese for our little one wasn’t so dry. The butter cake was good as always. We will probably go back because overall it was fine.

I recently took my wife and nephew out for some pizza to CPK at MainPlace mall. The staff was upbeat despite being busy and our server Stephanie had a welcoming demeanor. I really enjoyed tasting the Chicken Tequila Fettucine, as it is quite flavorful. The cucumber reviver has become one of my favorite drinks to order.

Seems understaffed. Dirty tables everywhere. Staff was nice but it felt like we were bothering them when we needed to ask for something. They were all running around. Received the wrong soup but ate it as the server was running everywhere else. It was way too cold in the restaurant. Music was too loud.

First time ever at any California pizza kitchen. Never again. The food was terrible, we sat outside and were forgotten about. I cant explain how terrible to street corn was. And their strawberry short cake dessert piled high with strawberries? Maybe 2, tops. A complete waste of money. Very disappointing.

Everything was on point and Jack was SUPER helpful!!! I ordered the Creamy Garlic Alfredo and I added Roasted Zucchini - SO GOOD didnt need chicken! VEGGIE ALERT- they need to add to menu - SERIOUSLY 😋

Service was amazing. Servers were dressed neat and very friendly and attentive to my needs. I only had a 5 🧀 pizza half cheese half pepperoni...it was soon delicious 😋 I totally enjoyed the food and Cucumber twist was refreshing 😋 👌 Great job California Kitchen team!! Management was there cleaning and ensure it flowed 👍great!

Worst CPK I have ever visited. I was sitting at bar for 10 minutes nobody cares. I finally ordered cheese pizza and chicken sandwich. Terrible food. Cheese pizza has no cheese in it and sandwich has too much mayo in it. I can only taste other than mayo. Worst location in CA.
