Have been going here for a while and different locations. CPK is known for their pizzas, salads, and pasta. Once we entered we had to wait for 15 minutes and that was fine. We had a somewhat big party. Even though we had to wait, the receptionist was very nice and keeps apologizing to us. Very kind and understandable.Once we were seated our server was so kind and already started ordering our drinks. What we ordered- Mushroom pizza. Delicious. I was very surprised.- Kids bbq pizza and Mac n cheese. My husband shared this with our toddler.- Chicken piccata. It was good. I felt that the chicken was overcooked though. It was also dry and very chewy.- Shrimp scampi zucchiniDidn’t have room for dessert. But we will next time. Overall, I’m giving this place 4 stars due to the chicken being dry. Thank you. We will definitely come back here again.

I had the zuccini noodles and shrimp. OMGsh, so good. I asked for all zuccini and no pasta. Service was good. The AC was not on, so we were sticking to the seats and hot, but the food was worth it. Plus, we did the $8 take and bake deal they have going on. I think thats a great deal and now we have dinner for another night.

Overall, CPK is a good place, if a little over-priced.However, the California club pizza is not a good idea for a pizza. And the execution at this location showcased why. Soggy lettuce and tomato dumped over a pizza isn’t great. Especially because the avocado wasn’t fresh

The food is good thought! But we were waiting for 40+ minutes at the entrance together with 20+ people just because a lot of free tables were waiting to be cleaned up. At the end they seated as at the table sorounded by again not clean tables, not the best experience.

We have been to this location a few times but today was special. The credit goes to Gabbie. She was not only Smart, knowledgeable but was the Most attentive server I have ever seen. She was attending like 8 or 9 tables I noticed but oh man, her eye to the details and requirements of the guests was remarkable. She 2as very very attentive. She gave me water just when I finished it, she asked about hows the food, she brought us Fresh fresh bread, she was on top of everything seriously. Very focussed and the best thing is she was wearing a million dollar SMILE. Thanks Gabby for making our evening so memorable. I think she should be promoted to the next position if NOT THE MANAGER because she is Very good in his Job. 5 stars for everything for Gabbie and this location.

12-29-22I came on a Thurs night, and it was crazy busy. It took 30 min for the bartender to get my order. They do a lot of takeout business. The bar was covered with to go orders.So now I tried their new West Coast Burger. It’s tall and looks good, but it’s too salty with the bacon. I’d stick with the pizza and pasta.I also tried their sangria flight. The beehive one is too sweet (and I like sweet), the red berry is ok, and the strawberry rosé one would be my favorite. Keep in mind I’ve been to Spain twice now so I have pretty high standards.——————————-This place is consistently good. But I’m unhappy they got rid of the pear and Gorgonzola pizza! That was my favorite!So now I generally order the chicken tequila pasta. They have a new appetizer: spicy honey, and I think it’s delicious! Good for sharing and to stave off your appetite while waiting for your main course. It’s sweet and spicy but not overpowering.Moscow mule is not bad either

Take out was good today!! The Thai Chicken Salad is one of our favourites with a side of ranch and peanut sauce. We also sometimes add shrimp or avocado to it. I also tried the Red Velvet Cake 🎂 Like OMG don’t walk but run 🏃🏽‍♀️ to CPK to get you some! It was soooooo good 😋.

The food was ok, but the experience was meh. We waited for 30 min before they led us to our seats even though there were a lot of empty tables. I’m not sure if it was because they were understaffed or what, but the service was SLOW. They didn’t bring us our silverware and napkins until after they served our first dish.

Paid 23 dollars for a salad that did not taste fresh. The veggies tasted like they were pre chopped and refrigerated or frozen, then thawed. $3+ to add avocados, barely any avocados. We were served a tiny portion of burnt dry bread. Later, we were asked if we wanted more bread. Surely, fresh bread came out. So they served whatever burnt bread they had left at first. The staff did not seem professional, especially if seated near the back door where they leave for breaks! Too much activity; very distracting and uncomfortable. Almost felt like being at Chuck e cheese.

Awesome meal, unique foods and ingredients. The drinks were a blast also, both na and alcoholic unique and good tasting. Ate all healthy and it was easy, well mostly healthy opinions vary on that amazing french bread and its dipping oil they give you, freeeeee. To be upfront we didn’t actually eat because service took so long. I hadn’t been to CPK in years and my sister who recently moved from out of state had never been so I figured let’s introduce her to a California staple. Well we entered and there was no greeter. There was the station so I was pretty sure we still had to wait to be seated. Well we waited. And waited. It took over five minutes until some actually seated us. Then when we sat we took a look at the menus and the prices were out of control. From my past memory the pizza is good, but not worth $20 for a pizza that’s barely big enough to be shared. And because we were given enough time to sit and flip through the menu and see the prices as well as the gentleman at the table next to us clearly trying to look around to grab someone’s attention for the entire duration, I decided to bail. I could already tell it wouldn’t be worth the wait. I probably would have given it a full shot if we were seated and waited upon quickly but I was just in no mood to wait when it wasn’t terribly busy.

I havent been to CPK in a very long time. We ordered a salad and pizza. A table of five people received five pieces of sliced bread. Which was laughable to be honest. The salad reminded me of eating a sub from Blimpie. The pizza was okay but nothing worth going back for in my opinion. We were told that the menus I just changed which maybe the reason the food was subpar at best. Maybe we went on a bad night. Whatever the reason I probably wont be going back.

The place is good and so is the food! But there is an employee who she is very rude! You can see that she doesnt like what she does because she talks and acts angry. Her service is terrible! She is the only employee who doesnt have a nameplate on her uniform, I believe because she must have a lot of complaints and doesnt want anyone to know her name! I go to this place for lunch at least once a week and the service is always awful. I spoke to the manager this time, Rosa who told me her name was “Kenedy”, youll recognize by her huge eyelashes, makeup and black hair tied up. During this visit, I was avoiding tomatoes, and asked the server which pizzas didnt have tomato sauce. She made sure that she understood my question, then pointed out a whole bunch of pizzas that did not have tomato sauce, including her personal favorite. I was amazed. I ended up getting the roasted garlic chicken pizza, which was very good. High marks for the product, the variety, and the service. Parking is easy. We chose to sit inside, rather than outside, as it was a warm day.

The food was good but not spectacular or jaw dropping. Ambience is just a regular restuarant, nothing to make it unique or intriguing to must see. Thw menu was vast enough for more dietary restrictions but not all which is expected from a franchise but just a little behind with the times. Make sure you check your bill for accuracy at the end of the meal.

Dirty and slow, Stay away.Dirty cups... so disgusting to realize after drinking some of your water, that the cup has caked on dirt.Bathrooms are FILTHY.Kitchen is super slow and wait staff are understaffed, yet they have 2 hostesses doing nothing. So I heard they are going out of business and I decided to buy a family meal. I used to always love their Chicken Thai Pizza. I requested curbside pick up. We ordered 3 pizzas a salad and pasta dish. I had to wait over 10 min and I had called 2 hours ahead. The pizza was cold and even after heating it. It didnt have enough sauce not sure what else was missing but it didnt taste like usual. The pasta dish barely had any garlic sauce. They gave us a small dressing for the size of the salad. I paid $70 and everyone in the family was disappointed! Not to mention they gave me only 4 small rolls of bread. I was trying to give them business but that was not worth it sad to say...

Sad location, no one greats as you walk in (not a big deal) but its unclear if you seat yourself since they have a desk at the entrance with a clipboard but no ones there.Washed hands and the bathroom reeks of urine. I havent visited a chain restaurant in years but I remembered how much I used to love CPKs pizza crust, so I decided to revisit last night. The taste of the pizza dough was not the same as it was before. Now it just tasted like any other pizza place. Very disappointed. We had such a disappointing experience that could have been completely avoided. I dragged my mom and friend to this location - since we live nearby, but our first time at this one. I bragged so much about the grilled veggie sandwich and chocolate souffle dessert that my two guests and I all ordered the same thing. Our waters were empty all night, our server rarely came by, my sandwich came out wrong, and by the time our waiter went inside to if see it could be changed, my table was finished eating when he came back to say they could remake it. Crazy how I, the one who insisted on eating here, ended up not having dinner. I only had dessert.The general manager NEVER came to talk to us. We were there from 7 p.m. till after 9 p.m, patio seating. If the GM was me, I definitely would have come to check on this table. We ordered two appetizers, three grilled veggie sandwiches, coffee and water (in which our glasses were either cold or empty all night), and three chocolate souffle desserts.

I have to give it to these guys for providing excellent service in light of COVID. Of note, the stoves and more likely the open fire oven made this place pretty hot inside. I am proud to be the 200th reviewer of such a fine establishment such as California Pizza Kitchen. Of all the CPKs I have visited, this is most family friendly and clean of all those. The Pizza is absolutely fantastic. It is relatively thin crusted, but full of sharp flavor in its topping and the crust. The dining is casual, and they dont mind if you were to visit in a Brooks Brothers fine suit or a T-shirt and shorts. If you sit at the bar, you can get a fascinating look at how the pizza is made. I recommend this California Pizza Kitchen above all others, and it definitely be my next stop for Dinner.

Edit: I believe in second chances so I went back to this location. Upon arriving at take out, the manager yelled, without looking at me, “it’s not ready yet!”. I then asked how much longer it would be and was told 4-5 minutes. Here I am now, 15 minutes later with no food in sight. TERRIBLE!!!Ordered take out. My food has now been sitting on the counter getting cold for more than 10 minutes because the staff is too busy to give it to me. Screw this place!!

Experience at CPK today was horrible. Food came out 35 minutes from order taken, a buttered pasta with a side order of steamed broccoli, and a rib eye steak prepared in medium.Brought out without the steamed broccoli, but our server told me that it would come out shortly.Went ahead and started eating but waited for the broccoli for another ten minutes. No broccoli so asked server, and he told me that it ran out... what?Then, why wouldnt you tell me so as soon as you were informed rather than asked by a customer?

If you like your food somewhat spicy, I highly recommend the Kung Pao Spaghetti. Its a little greasy, but one of my favorite dishes. The Caesar Salad was also pretty good.Ive always been a fan of CPK. Their food is usually tasty, and doesnt leave you feeling like you just ingested an entire shaker of salt; but given the size of the plates here, they are not really meant for sharing.My one issue that brought this particular CPK down a star, however, was the lack of attention from the waitress. We had to flag her down each and every time we needed something: from finally placing our order, to getting refills on water. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience. The good came out in a reasonable amount of time, the restaurant was clean, and the ambiance was relaxed.

Tried the small veggie pizza on cauliflower crust with Mediterranean salad. Loved both but after eating two pieces of the pizza, I bit into something so hot it brought tears to my eyes and burned my mouth and throat. The waiter assured me there shouldnt have been anything spicy in it but there was a small seed which must have been the culprit

Food has changed a bit, not to my liking, but its still a classic spot to take the fam and have a nice dinner. The interior looks fantastic since the renovations. The tostada pizza is really good if youre in the mood for Mexican pizza. Add serrano peppers to any pizza for the spicy kick. Must try the butter cake for dessert. This goes unsaid, but just in case, WITH ice cream!
