Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
2330 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, United States
I ordered soup and salad. It is not on the menu so the waitress had to guess at the price. She guessed correctly. The salad was not bad but not really good either. Quite a bit of brown and wilted pieces that to be set aside. The soup and salad were brought together which meant the soup was not hot by the time I finished my salad. The soup tasted fine, just a bit cold. The waitress was very nice, friendly and did a great job although seemed busy. It was a busy night because a lot of students in formal attire were filling the place up so that may account for some of it. Not really her fault. Also, this is the only restaurant I have ever been too where they have managers constantly walking around with head sets on barking out directions to the staff like air traffic controllers. I understand this is their process but it not very relaxing to have front of house people walking past your table yelling bus table 64, 32 is open, 17 is taking there time, 56 needs bussing..... Other restaurants have figured out how to do this more discreetly. Having the host up front yelling out guest names is not very relaxing either. You have pagers, use them. So, all in all: not bad but, also not the best. Hence 3 stars.

The Soup and Noodle
807 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92867, United States
This must be the most underrated and slept on restaurant in town. The food is 100% the focus. A cute quaint atmosphere possibly left behind by the previous restaurant but I promise you the food whisks you away to a land of pure deliciousness. Their take on the Peruvian Lomo Saltado with shaken beef influence is profound and lacks nothing. Perfectly seasoned and a delight to the senses is probably a bit of an understatement. Pho felt authentic and took me aback to my travels in Vietnam. Ketchup with the egg rolls was a bit surprising but look nothing away from the light but crunchy mouthful. The waitress who helped us so warm and comforting in her aid of drink and dish selection.Soup and Noodle, you truly deserve a standing ovation.TL:DRTry this place. If youre not dancing with joy then maybe food isnt for you.

California Pizza Kitchen at Tustin
3001 El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92782, United States
To be upfront we didn't actually eat because service took so long. I hadn't been to CPK in years and my sister who recently moved from out of state had never been so I figured let's introduce her to a California staple. Well we entered and there was no greeter. There was the station so I was pretty sure we still had to wait to be seated. Well we waited. And waited. It took over five minutes until some actually seated us. Then when we sat we took a look at the menus and the prices were out of control. From my past memory the pizza is good, but not worth $20 for a pizza that's barely big enough to be shared. And because we were given enough time to sit and flip through the menu and see the prices as well as the gentleman at the table next to us clearly trying to look around to grab someone's attention for the entire duration, I decided to bail. I could already tell it wouldn't be worth the wait. I probably would have given it a full shot if we were seated and waited upon quickly but I was just in no mood to wait when it wasn't terribly busy.

Kyoto Japanese Cuisine

High quality sashimi beyond expectation. You know that a Japanese restaurant is on a higher tier when they have fresh uni, fresh amaebi, toro, Spanish mackerel or scallops. This place has them all and they are so fresh. The uni is so buttery. Scallops is super sweet. Miso soup is better than most places we have been to. We inquired how their sashimi taste so fresh and learned that their fish come directly from Japan EVERYDAY. Im so impressed. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Panera Bread
2214 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, United States
What is going on at your Orange Panera? I go mostly to your this store. Upon entering it seems vacant and dirty. The manager acts and dresses unprofessionally. The staff just arent into their jobs. They should be thankful to work anywhere. I ordered a salad to go and they popped the bread in the bag without a sleeve to put it in. Maybe you dont realize these bags are sitting around and could be a host to roaches if not in the store then the warehouse. The store environment is not warm and welcoming. Right away I got a feeling that there is something wrong happening and the staff has zero enthusiasm. The bakery display area is a true disaster. The first Panera I ever went to was located in Cranberry Township, Pittsburgh, PA. You need to learn from them what a warm welcoming store is like. Their bakery section just pulls you in.They have various sized baskets and the various pastries sitting on beautiful white paper doilies to create an effective eye catching display. Their bakery goods are kept replenished and they look abundant, fresh and delicious.Orange has hardly any bakery goods. What they have looks dried out, very few and old. They appear to be slapped on the steel counter and it looks very unappealing. The baked goods looked old with crumbs all over the counter. Id never buy baked goods there. Why spend my money on dried out baked goods on an unclean counter?Come on guys you know that the bakery area is there to bring in revenue. You have to be losing a lot in that Orange store. And I can say many of your O. C. stores bakery areasare very much lacking. Few baked goods, unattractively arranged and ugly dried out products.Good Luck. Thank you.

Noodles and Company
2214 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, United States
Ok to be fair, this is of course a fast food restaurant. However, in all the fast food restaurants, this one is really our favorite!Often we are so tired from work and just looking to have a quick dinner. Noodles & Company is always reliable, and with the free delivery from DoorDash it’s just the place for that last minute delicious lifesaver. For those who’ve never been there, Noodles & Company has a very simple menu. Few noodle choices served with different sauces like pesto, Alfredo, marinara... But the thing that appealing is that all their menu items can be made vegetarian! All of them!I would highly recommend you’re try the Pesto Caviapatti. And the spaghetti Alfredo is one my favorites. Also FYI: their Mac-and-cheese side and tomato bisque soups are fantastic! Totally worth the extra $3.

Mariscos La Jaiva
1724 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, United States
Worst experience probably ever. I was looking forward to coming here but It was closed 2 years ago. Maybe they are under a new ownership? Things have really changed from the pictures that are online, and it is sad to see that.Terrible paint and the place over all needs lots of work, bad music very loud, no specialty drinks and very few or limited drinks, service was ok, but not very friendly and not more then a 2 star on that. Rice was dry and hard, shrimp was blend, food overall is a zero and all the other food was bad for both I and my girl.Normally I dont really leave bad reviews, but this place really needs a lot of improvements.

During my first visit to this restaurant, kindly invited by a friend, I was thoroughly impressed. The establishment prides itself on cleanliness and hygiene, providing a worry-free dining experience regarding food safety. A standout feature is their daily limited offering of mutton, a practice that guarantees ingredient freshness. The lamb legs, a must-try, are perfectly balanced between fat and lean, exuding a rich, creamy aroma. Complementing the meat, the rice impresses with its soft, sticky texture and subtle sweetness, while the carrots burst with flavor. The unanimous praise from every diner speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the dining experience. The hospitality of the owner adds to the charm, marked by a warm welcome and complimentary drinks and yogurt to celebrate their opening. For aficionados of mutton or those curious to try, this restaurant promises a memorable culinary journey. Your visit here is sure to be filled with no regrets. Ive made it more concise and professional while retaining all the positive feedback and details you provided about the food and the restaurants ambiance.

KPB Asian Bistro

I got a menu in the mail and meet a colleague here for lunch. I ordered some rice buns while waiting but they were dry and hard — with steamed rice buns if you steam once and let sit and then steam again, they rapidly dry out. Next came the meal. I get that many Asian restaurants use pressed chicken parts but there's a limit on what I can tolerate and the chicken used here definitely has made me rethink how much I can tolerate. Huge portion or not, I think my fave place has not been replaced.
