I ordered sweet and sour chicken and Wonton soup for take away, which totaled 30 dollars. There are only 6 Wonton, and some chicken and vegetables. There is such a big hole on the lid of Yuntian Soup, but there is no other bag. When driving, the delivery bag emptied and the soup began to leave. I quickly turned around and asked the waiter to give me another bag. I said that the soup cup should usually be wrapped in another bag. The waiter said that they usually dont leave it out, but what she meant was that ordinary soup doesnt require a bag. Although she gave me a bag, I was very unhappy to hear it. I have ordered quite a few takeout dishes, and I have never seen such a restaurant save so much. Not at all professional. Saving one bag and losing one customer is my first and last purchase. Never come back again

Consistently great Chinese food. We love the barbecue pork fried rice, the Mongolian beef and sweet-and-sour pork. We tried the pineapple chicken as well and that was yummy too! Thank you!

We have been ordering from this small local business for almost 15 years, and they have never disappointed us. Due to current COVID restrictions, takeout is our only option with Chef Ko but its a wonderful meal for home! This is mostly Szechuan cuisine, no MSG in any of the food. Most of the items on the menu including the luncheon specials are very good on their own, but they can accommodate a few substitutions. No heavy / salty / oily items, everything is very light and enjoyable!

Visiting the area from out of town, in the mood for Chinese but didn’t have many options with vegan dishes, incredibly glad we chose this restaurant!I got the Mongolian Veggie Beef, steamed white rice on the side, the sauce was amazing and the beef was like nothing I’ve had before! It’s a simple dish with beef and onions but a definite recommend!My partner got the Kung Pao Tofu and Veggie Chicken, also with a side of steamed white rice, which was also very delicious.Both dishes came with generous portions of dried chilies.

We had fast and friendly service, food came out within minutes. The menu is extensive so we prdered two appetizers and two entrees. Everything we had was great quality and in heaping amounts. Will definitelty be a return visitor!

Ok their food is good, this has been well established. They have a big variety of dishes. But color me shocked when the takeout lunch special rung up over $17!!! I guess they’ve raised their prices due to Covid. I ordered the cashew chicken and hot and sour soup. Perfect for rainy weather.

I have been getting my Chinese takeout at one of two restaurants for many years. I noticed that this restaurant had also been around for years so I tried them and actually like them better than my two go to’s. Nothing fancy but the food was flavorful and fresh. They also took little steps to increase the fried foods crispness like keeping the sauce off the honey walnut prawns until we got them home. The chefs special fried rice was full of hunks of chicken and good size shrimp. I also liked that the sweet and sour pork had bite size pieces of meat and not the usual huge unmanageable pieces most have. The prices were good and the menu was extensive . I will return there again.

Been going to this place for the past 6 years and they have been getting worse each year.Prawns with garlic sauce is Cellary with Vegetable and exactly three Prawns.Chow mein has no taste.As far as pricing, do not count on online menu pricing they are from 6 years ago. Expect to pat 25% to 30% higher when you pickup.

We went to this place for lunch first time. The waitress took the wrong order. When I paid her. She didn’t even give me back my change. I wouldn’t go there ever again. Food was expensive and not that good.

First time ordered through DoorDash. Food was here within 20 minutes, hot and ready to eat. Some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Sweet-and-sour soup was to die for. The chow mein was absolutely delicious. Will definitely order from them again!!!

This place has a great vegetarian menu (most is also vegan). Apparently the veggie chicken is made with beans and the veggie beef is made from mushrooms — the texture and flavor was really good, and my mom had to ask the waiter if we’d gotten the right dish. Another member of our party ordered a shrimp dish and said that the flavor of the vegetarian dishes was better. Some of the dishes on the vegetarian menu have eggs, though the waiter said you can ask them to make the dish without eggs.Their veggie beef eggplant with Thai sauce clay pot and the salt and pepper eggplant dishes were really good (and quite different dishes). Despite both dishes saying they are spicy, the actual spiciness was fairly low.We went on a Sunday night around 7pm, and there was no wait. Overall service was good with food coming out quickly.

We regularly order take out. Their Singapore Style Noodles are excellent: well spiced (curry) and very tasty. They also are quite nice to work around my wifes shellfish allergy and omit shrimp from the meal. One thing I appreciate is that the food is generally not oily.Some of their vegetarian (mock meat) dishes are also quite excellent - even for non vegetarians. I remember being delighted with the vegetarian Mongolian Beef, for example.Not everything is top notch. Some of their dishes are, to my taste, bland, but then we prefer the spicier palate.

So I just moved to the southbay from san Francisco, where I lived near china town, and one of my favorite things to get up there on a cold day was some good wonton soup, anyways I have been looking for a good wonton soup down here for awhile now and so far this place is the only one that has it, I highly recommend!!!

If youre looking for good Americanized Chinese food, this is a solid choice. If youre looking for more authentic flavors, then this will be a disappointment. But the value and portions are very generous. Service has always been friendly and quick.

Restaraunt is small but food was decent and staff was friendly. Unfortunately, when I received credit card statement, I found that amount on the statement is higher than my restaurant receipt. The difference was not big, but doing to every customer will create a decent amount.

I had the Kung poa chicken and fried rice and the food was great. I picked it up the reason for 4 stars. I am sure the service is great but I cant rate their service until I sit down and eat in the restaurant. By any means, I recommend this place to anyone whos looking to have fresh cooked Chinese food.

The rice was like a day old, the sweet sour pork meat was chewy and hard and service was ok. As for my family and me we will not coming back. Somebody should check the food going out. We had a terrible experience with food.

Chef Ko has a separate menu for plant based eaters that has 6 pages of vegetarian & vegan options. But why order anything off that menu when you can be a prima donna and make up your own? Ask em to to make something custom like spicey Singapore Chow Fun. Its vegan if you ask them to make it without the egg. Thats seriously good eats. See my photo.As for celestial bodies, this restaurant easily gets 5 stars. I would even throw in a Crab Nebula to the rating if that was vegan. Chef Ko has all the meat substitutes you can desire. Why cant more places take a hint from this menu. This is the way of the future.Theres a 10% off (15% for dine in) coupon on their site too.Order a nice Chardonnay with your spicy noodle dish.

We have been here few times. It is a generic Chinese food with OK taste. During our last visit, Orange chicken didnt seem good. I suspect it caused stomach problems for my son. Hygiene is questionable.

The food is good. The waitress is very despotic and rude. With a negative attitude and still asks customers for tips. If you dont give it to him he gets angry. This is the second time the same thing has happened to her.
