The staff was friendly, good environment and plenty of booths to choose from. The soup that arrived with the dinner choice was delicious and price was reasonable. Potstickers were tasty as well as the cream cheese wontons. The portions are big and make it worth it.

We were visiting my daughter and her family. They took us out to dinner and chose Chopsticks. It was amazing. The restaurant has amazing decor, so clean and everyone who works there was so inviting. My 4 year old granddaughter loves white rice and plain noodles. The waitress remembered her from their previous visits. She brought her rice and noodles out right away. My son inlaw did the ordering. He chose the Peking Style dinner. They brought us a huge bowl of soup and served all 6 of us. We had 5 different plates of food, I tried everything. I definitely want to go back.

I really dont want to have to do this but it has been 3 days of symptoms akin to food poisoning. I ordered take out and it tasted fine, I mean, bland but okay. Mid I guess. Maybe about 45 minutes after my meal, I had started the shaking and the sweating. It progressively got worse and Ive come to realize this is due to what I had eaten from here. I have never had this reaction to Chinese food in my life. I have, however gotten food poisoning from badly washed ingredients or meats that had not been cooked thoroughly. Im not sure if maybe this was a one time slip up for them but I am sure that I got food poisoning and this is the last time I will ever be eating here. For my own health. The woman who took my order and checked me out was a sweetheart. They werent rude to me or anything. I really do think this may just have been a bad day for them. I just thought Id let others know.

Come here to get the best bang for your buck! My mom and I came here for lunch right after her physical therapy appointment. Their lunch special is until 3pm and ranges from $7+ to $8.50 and includes soup, an eggroll, and your choice of fried or steamed rice. Portions are huge and service is quick!

Just know this is a family owned and operated business, and they are darn good at it. They took a staffing hit from covid so it takes a little longer, but the wait is worth it. I love the Mongolian beef, sizzling rice soup and their fried rice is so good!! You will have left overs, and they are great the next day too.

We love coming here. The wait staff are all very friendly and helpful. They get the food to you fast. They offer great suggestions if you are having a hard time choosing something. The food is good and at a very reasonable price. The lunch special portions are really generous at a great price. The dining area is always clean. Every visit so far has been enjoyable.

Potentially some new hours of operation, so check my photo attached to this review!Overall happy with this spot. Portion sizes were large and I was able to feed 4 people for $30. Orange chicken was a surprise because it’s not JUST batter. Nice large white chicken pieces when you bite in.Lunch specials and combo plates available. The combo plate comes with a meat entree, pork fried rice (or steamed white rice), chow mein, an egg roll, and miso soup (for dine in customers). Take out is offered as well.

Terrible....ordered the orange beef. It had traces of meat in it while the rest was all coating. The rest if the food including the hot and sour soup was flavorless. Everything tasted the same. Comically enough, even the fortune cookies at the end were actually soft and stale. Will never come back.

I have regularly eaten at Chopsticks in Roseville for at least 20 years. Birthdays, lunches with friends, family dinners, my wedding rehearsal dinner --- all here. They make amazing food all the time every time, and their portions and what you get for your money are awesome. They provide take-out as well (not delivery though) which weve also done frequently. Customer service is friendly and timely, and I have never had a bad experience in 20 years.Ive tried other places a little closer to my house, and either the food is subpar in comparison, or the customer service is subpar in comparison. I highly recommend Chopsticks, especially their family platters.Im still giving it 5 stars because I love their food so much but the only recommendation I have is that they need a website. I cant find one, and its hard to find a full menu online, so I grabbed a paper one. In 2022, a restaurant should have a website, especially one this high quality, especially after the pandemic forced them to resort to only doing take out orders for a short time.Otherwise, keep making amazing food and I will keep coming back. :)

Been a while since we had eaten here. I ordered the spicy chicken lunch meal. It said it comes with vegetable chowmein, main choice of meat item, egg roll and fried or reg. white rice.The egg roll and rice were the only things I ate. The main chicken dish tasted weird. My Mom tried it and agreed with me.My chowmein had NO Vegetables in it at all. I kept looking for them. Just a pile of big noodles that were tossed in soy sauce. Very bland with no flavor.Very disappointed!Infact my parents didnt like what they ordered too.Unfortunately, I will never be returning to this restaurant. The waiter was very nice and friendly. I just hope they figure out whats going on in their kitchen there...🙁

We have finally found a Chinese restaurant that we like. Moved to the area a year ago and have been searching for new favorite restaurants. My wife loved the cashew chicken. My general tso chicken required spicing up from the chili oil on the table. I like it spicy. We will return soon to try more dishes on the menu.

My family and I could not find a Chinese restaurant serving anything but takeout. Finally we found Chopsticks. It seems there were only 2 employees serving and servicing takeout orders. Our service was good but slow. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Everything we ordered was delicious!! My hats off to the two ladies working extra hard to keep the doors open and us fed. And My compliments to the chef!! We will be eating all our Chinese food at Chopsticks from now on...

Had my favorite sweet and sour chicken and was very disappointed . The chicken was dry and in such big pieces, I had to ask for a knife to cut it. The fried rice was good but didnt eat the egg roll because it was a chicken vegetable one. I much prefer the spring rolls they used to serve. We always ordered an extra side of the spring rolls. But I dont like the taste of the egg rolls now. Before the chicken was always tender now it was very dry. They must have a new cook. The wonton soup, the broth was tasty but when I took a bite of the wonton it tasted bad so that was the end of my soup. I dont think I will be going back there . And its a shame because we used to eat there at least twice a month.

Most excellent! The lady who took our order was very polite. This restaurant is busy! It seemed like she was taking and handing out orders the whole time. We stopped in without calling in our order and just stood around waiting. It seems everyone else had the right idea and called their order in. Some were being picked up with a service.The food was great and I was happy to end it with my fortune cookie. I had the sweet and sour pork dinner combo plate with all chow mein. It cam with an egg roll. I would definitely return.

Been in Roseville over 20 years, never been to this place. Brother sick and wanted brothy soup so picked this place at random. Called and asked about soup, said they had what I needed, she gave me time they opened, all is great. When I showed up, no greeting, told woman wed just spoke on phone (literally)minutes ago but she didnt seem to remember. I asked about sizes and prices which seemed to annoy her, placed my order. She said have a seat. Minutes later a couple came in. She greeted them warmly, eagerly took their orders, told them how long the wait would be, and went off to the kitchen. When my order came she told me the total and I paid. I asked for a receipt and she told me she couldnt give me one as she reached for the ringing phone. As she spoke on the phone she wrote out a receipt which I took and left. Needless to say, wont be going back - Ill make my own soup minus the attitude!!.

Ive been going there for over 20 years. Good selection. Combination plates, bundled deals of food per person, and ala carte menu with a lot of options. Seasonal plates from local produce. Can handle small to large parties and has take out. Lately the cashier/hostess is very slow. Will never eat here again. The food is only ok. Their fried cheese wantons are folded in a triangle instead of the usual star and are not crispy...lazy.The staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. This was my first time there and when you walk in there is no sign to seat yourself or to wait so I waited. It took 5-10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. I told her I wanted to order takeout, she nodded and walked away. I stood there another 5 minutes or so and another customer walked in that had obviously been there before and walked over to a desk that had paper menus to order from. I followed and circled my choices. Finally someone took my order. The food was ready quickly. The waitress never smiled, as a matter of fact no one working there smiled at all.There are so many better Chinese restaurants near by to choose from suggest any other place than here.

I must have ordered the wrong things. Pretty bland flavors on the chicken chow mein, broccoli beef and green bean chicken. Fried rice was pretty good but not too hard to make that.Service was ok at the start but once we were served the meal we didn’t have anyone else come back to check on us or offer more drinks. If you are hoping for a refill of soda or even water, good luck. Certainly have had better Chinese food and service.

A great family-owned Chinese restaurant! We found this place by accident when the restaurant that we were familiar with was closed the day that we wanted to have Chinese. Looked it up & this place has great ratings. So its the only place weve been to since for Chinese. I wanted to order in Chinese Food and tried calling this restaurant several times but the line was dead. I just decided to personally go order and bring it home myself, no problem. When I get there I walk up to the front desk and found the restaurant phone was off the hook and sitting on the desk, as if they were avoiding phone calls. Thats very unprofessional. Then I waited 15-20 minuets with no acknowledgment from the staff. Customer service clearly was not a priority in this restaurant. I ended up googling another Chinese restaurant in the area and found Rose Garden Chinese restaurant across the street. I was in and out with in 15 minuets and the staff was great. I will not be revisiting Chopsticks anytime soon.

First time here at Chopsticks and it is great. The crab and cream cheese wonton appetizers were delicious. I ordered the combination plate with hunan chicken, pork fried rice, chow mein, and egg roll. All of the food was prepared quickly and tasted fresh. No complaints here. Great value for the money.

This is the ONLY place I go for Chinese food since moving here from NYC 5 years ago. Honestly, its even better than what I used to get from various places throughout NYC, and that says a lot. I tried a lot of places around, but none have this level of food. Im a general tso chicken addict, and no one else has a thick, savory sauce like theirs. Super fast for take-out orders, always terrific service when Ive dined in, and cheap lunch specials thatre enough food for TWO lunches. I generally dont have the time to write many reviews, but a restaurant with food this fantastic definitely deserves the mention!

Ordering A whole duck at 4:45pm, they tell me Ill be 20 min. Get there and they tell me A few more minutes. Once food is brought out she tells me they didnt have duck that day. Decided to order from Chopsticks this week and was excited based on reviews...not a good decision. We ordered crab wontons, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, pineapple chicken, general chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. Both the pineapple chicken and general chicken had a HORRIBLE toxic flavor. I realized it seemed to stem from the breading. Additionally, the sauce of the pineapple chicken was highlighter yellow. I seriously wish I had taken a photo because it was so disgusting and clearly artificially colored.The rest of the food was fine, no issues. We were so disappointed that we spent so much money here and ended up throwing out about a third of it because it was inedible. Gave three stars for the rest of the food and reasonable prices.

The family has celebrated many an event, Mother’s Day, Birthdays or just because. Love the people here. Love the War Wonton Soup- I feel it’s the best I’ve ever had!! Try the Shredded Pork with green beans the flavor is heavenly, also try the Mu Shu pork and don’t hesitate to pick it up, better than eating with a fork.

I am so disappointed😟 my favorites are house special fried rice and house special egg foo yung, and fried chicken wings. I am from back East and I have never had worse food on delivery. Not only was it bland but, one of my egg foo yung although large in size was burnt delivery a burnt taste with one shrimp, plenty of pork and chicken, my rice had plenty of porky and chicken and two shrimp for that large box of rice REALLY! 😡 if I wasnt tired and hungry I would have returned it for my $27.00 back

This place was a disappointment. I asked for a special noodle dish (super easy) and they refused to do it. I usually go to China House on Sunrise and Antelope and they cook me what I want, but they are closed on Mondays. I asked for rice noodles with veggies and a kung pao sauce (EASY). I was forced to order kung pao shrimp and asked for no chow mein noodles and my shrimp came with noodles in it! They werent very kind or patient on the phone and were about the same in person. I went to this place in desperation, because China House is closed on Mondays. Im definitely going to go without on Mondays, because Chopsticks is not a good replacement.
