2023-11-08 10:18:04The Taiwanese food at this place is super yummy! Its got that healthier twist, so its not too salty, but the flavors are still packed with goodness. The only downside is the wait. On a Saturday, I waited for 1.5-2 hours to secure a table for two, (and this was after we arrived at 7:30 pm.)

2023-11-13 03:47:08It was our first time here and the food was delicious. The beef soup has a sweet broth with very tender beef chunks. I already want more. The spicy cucumbers (They were not too spicy even the kids ate them. We had 4 children and 3 adults in our party. It took about 35 minutes for us to get a seat for 7 which was not bad at all for the place and being a Sunday evening..... I would highly suggest going here, especially if you like the Taiwanese/ Vietnamese soups and noodles.... The bill with a tip was about $300...... thx to my bro n Law, he paid.... :)

2023-09-30 22:25:32We had a reservation at 11:45 and were seated promptly. All of the servers were pleasant. We had soup dumplins, regular dumplins, chicken noodles, spicy wintons, and pork chop fried rice. The food came out fast and in waves which worked out well, it was hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

2023-05-20 01:26:03Was walking around the mall during our last visit to Torrance and came upon this place. Originally just walked by looking for some other kind of food but decided to go back and give this place a try. Glad we did. It was Mothers Day so the place was really busy, not sure if that is the norm. All the food is served family style, so we decided to try several different items. Each plate was really well seasoned and tasted excellent. The star of the meal was the chicken dumplings (forget the name but they burst with chicken broth in your mouth... so so good) and the dessert chocolate dumplings so so so good. Do yourself a favor and stop in this place, eat, drink, you will not be disappointed. Next time we are in Torrance I will 100% go back for the dumplings. Additionally, the staff was super friendly and very attentive, the service was on time everything just flowed. Really check this place out. I know this place is a chain so I cannot speak for the other locations I have only tried the one in Torrance. I do not usually give chain restaurants such rave reviews but this place is different.

2023-10-23 13:37:09Soup dumplings are rare to find in the USA. These soup dumplings tasted amazing and looked awesome. The chicken steamed dumpings and spicy potstickers were also good. They have a glass display into the dumpling prep area. Neat to see the cooking process up-close.

2023-11-05 01:51:33I started out with a Elysian Space Dust IPA, Im glad they serve it there. I got the Shrimp and Kurobata Pork Wonton Soup, Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao, and Kimchi and Kurobata Pork Dumpling. All were more than fantastic, I would not change a thing. However I did want them spicy so I had to use the chili oil, vinegar, and a little soy sauce. I ordered a couple Cucumber Gimlets (skinny), they were also great, not too sweet. The disappointment was the Xiao Long Bao Sweet Taro Dessert. I tasted like uncooked flour and wasnt sweet at all. I normally like most things with taro. It was only made edible after I ordered the side of Cream Top. The cream so incredible, it was more on the liquid side. I couldnt stop eating the dessert with the cream, even though I was full. All the stuff I ordered was for one person. (Funnily, I am 55 105 lb, though weighed much more after this dining experience.)

2023-06-06 16:15:41If you love dumplings, then you have to try Din Tai Fung! This is my daughters favorite restaurant because she is obsessed with soup dumplings. Din Tai Fung is a Chinese restaurant that specializes in dumplings and noodles. They hand-make the dumplings and you can even watch them do it.Every time we come, my daughter does the ordering. She knows exactly what she wants. We start with the cucumber salad and a honey milk tea with boba. We then go crazy and get all the soup dumplings. We also order a variety of 🥟 dumplings, and noodles with spicy sauce. The service was perfect! The wait staff was quick and attentive. The food of course was spot on! Everything tasted fresh and delightful. They are always super busy with long lines. So the ambiance inside is busy and loud. Which makes the experience even more fun. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid waiting in line. Especially on the weekend.

2023-09-29 19:22:39This place is so good! Come with a group, as everything is served to share. My meat-eating friends all love the xiao long bao. I come for the veggies, especially the string beans, mustard greens, and the garlicky kale. I usually just eat kale for the health benefits, but here it is so delicious that I genuinely enjoy it! The vegan dumplings are good, the spicy vegan wontons are amazing. Lots of vegan options here, and everything is clearly labeled. The staff is very friendly and will help with any concerns. Theyre always busy, so expect a wait and a noisy environment, but its totally worth it.
