Domo Japanese Sushi Grill and Bar in Stockton

Good food, good wait service and great place to eat overall. The atmosphere is a mix of sports bar and restaurant. Its fairly loud with a lot of people moving around. Prices are high but the food portions are fair except for the sushi. Prices of 23-27 dollars for their more specialized rolls was high in comparison to other places.

Our waitress was clearly having a bad day. I already didnt want to go to the restaurant for personal reasons but my friend wanted to go for her birthday. I would have never gone to this restaurant. Clearly overpriced. My appetizers was ok. The teppanyaki chef was wonderful and not only entertaining but the food was good.

So Disappointed with the lack of providing a proper amount of sushi. I added pictures of 4 different roles purchased. Look closely, you can see the tiniest of pieces on top of only every other slice. Is all my life, I have never seen such a lack of Sushi fish on a roll. Just sad! The chiefs were great. The staff were great. Everyone was was suffering in the extreme heat in this place. They should not have been open. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside! Cost cutting has gone too far here. I feel bad for the folks working there.

Decent sushi restaurant. Expensive. Prices are higher than Toyo’s. I’m sure they have high rent to pay in Lincoln Center!Other than that I would recommend trying this place.My son had soy wrapped California rolls and he was happy with his dinner.I had the sesame chicken breast with fried rice. Comes with salad. It was quite a large, filling meal. The chicken was tasty. $31 💰Evidently they have a happy hour discount before 6 PM? Ask about it.We might go back.

Very, very expensive for what it is. Aggressive tipping policy--automatic 18% and then additional tip for chef. Kingston puts on a good show. Garlic rice is good. This will be a once in a great while place to eat.

For God sake! What is wrong with your take out set up??!! Every single time I want to do take out weather its sushi or tempura it takes way too long. I have waited for more than an hour for only a phili roll. The people taking the call even asked the pricing on their own menu. WHAT?!You need to figure this out!2 take out fees for one order?Cost too much for too little on a $50 order.

Poisoned apple cocktail tasted like a punishment drink.The chicken katsu had no seasoning, very bland, so was the fried rice. :(Worst of all the Sashimi they served us was brown! How long was it left sitting out? The quality isn’t worth the price. And it’s a potential health hazard.

Was skeptical from other reviews.... But I had a great experience. A little pricey but youre paying for an experience. Food was good, service was good, no complaints from me.

At Domos, they normally have an hour break in the afternoon. I came in after their break and they were super nice and welcomed me. I really enjoyed the Food. The King Kong roll is super delicious! I had the sesame chicken with rice and salad, and it filled me up. It was just enough. :) The waitress was super helpful and kind. I appreciate the wonderful customer service.

Good food and decent service. I think our server may have been new or sick. Or maybe both. Series was a little slow and we didnt get some sauces we asked for drinks but assuming he was new it was a good visit. Will be back.
