Been here several times. Food is always delicious, hot and served quickly. Highly recommend Salt and Pepper Fish, Beef Chow Fun and Hot & Spicy Shredded Pork. Each time we go we try one or two new items and theyre either good or great.Pictured: beef chow fun, salt and pepper fish, cumin lamb

We had a good experience here at this resto. Authentic Asian flavor. We absolutely loved the fried rice, serving is huge, absolutely tasty. We also enjoyed the Xiao Long Bao, but we are hoping it is more soupy. All in all, we enjoyed it. We’ll be back for sure.

We love this place. But not all of the food is good.Last time, I confirmed the noodle type 3 times and showed the photos to the staff 3 times, she said it was the same type. However, it was not. I showed the flat thick noodles but she gave me the thin ones. When I complained, she said we only have this type of noodles.The popcorn chicken is very nice though.

Food was tasty, but oily. Ordered chicken won ton soup, beef pancake (good but oily) beef chow fun ( good) and Mongolian beef made to order so was not spicy. This last item had more onions than beef. I usually do not leave negative reviews, however after reading other reviews, decided to do so. Please note that the food was tasty.

Really liked this place and definitely gonna come back to try other food they serve! Was at this place just once but that experience was excellent. Food came fast, server was super nice and helpful, refilled our glasses with water, took used dishes off the table - everything on time. Food! Very delicious! General Tso’s Chicken is top notch. Perfect texture and spicy savory sauce made me eat the whole huge portion alone:)) My husband was happy with his Tofu Pickled Cabbage Clay pot. The plate was also big, thick and looked amazing. We tried only one type of dumplings that time, shrimp ones. The filling was very juicy and rich. Can say that all components of the food we ate were really fresh and quality. And it makes me planning the next visit to dumpling garden one of these days 😌💯

Pricing is all over. Popcorn chicken appetizer is almost as expensive as general Tsao chicken.However, I love the popcorn chicken. Crispy and spicy, even crispy basil leaves. It may be a little spicy for those who doesnt eat spicy.Generally Tsao chicken also very delicious. Crispy and good sauce.We ordered a chicken fried rice. Its ok, not bad. Depends on the kind of fried rice texture you like. This one they use fresh river to fried and not Cantonese style where they use less moisture rice for frying.

Stopped in on my way to Shoreline so I wouldnt need to buy and eat amphitheater food. Glad I made the move. Stopped in. Quiet corner strip center location. Clear signage and plenty of parking. Open door, plexiglass at front table. Got my order placed for carryout and they kindly let me use the restroom. Waited maybe 10 minutes to receive my food. Space was clean and comfortable enough. Got my food, drove the few minutes to Shoreline and ate in the parking lot there. Still warm and tasty. Ate half of my order before the show and the rest while driving home.Glad to wake up after a concert without feeling all nacho and fries.

DONT EVER TAKE OUT IN THIS RESTAURANT!!! I ordered five items and two of them were not what I ordered. The receipt was correct so they just prepared the wrong food. I had a very bad experience. Nowadays even fast food restaurants don’t make this kind of mistake. Would never order again.

First time trying this place. Food tastes good but nothing special. Main reason for low rating is because both my wife and I felt sick shortly after we left. Wife felt like throwing up and I couldnt find a restroom fast enough.

One of the delivered items ruined the whole first time experience, NOT ordering from here ever again.The chicken was literally frozen cold, like stored in a fridge for few hours cold. And it was almost like taken from a leftover meal. There was loose bones with no meat on them, as if though someone nibbled on them before.

Delicious food! Especially recommend the Marinated Beef Pancake Roll and the Chicken and Corn Dumplings! Its true that the food was a little pricey and the skin on the xlb was somewhat thick, but the flavors were great. The Shanghai style rice cakes also had a great texture. We will definitely be back!

Twice now I’ve gone during “Open” hours and I’ve been turned away because they didn’t want to serve anyone else. I got there 40 mins before they closed.It’s not good to your customers to have hours and then turn them away after I’ve taken time to decide to eat there and drive there, just to get shutdown.Not cool.

Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to eat after a trip to Walmart. My family loves dumplings and were always on the hunt for good places to eat while in other cities.We ordered a few typical dishes we would to compare to our local dumpling spot. The marinated pig ears were nice and tender with good flavor. The mustard green soup was okay. It wasnt hot, but the beef was good.We also got lamb with Napa cabbage dumplings as well as for and chive. Both were delicious.Prices were about $3 more per dish than what Im used to, but its not too bad considering I didnt see another dumpling spot in the area.

I really like this place to have a quick authentic Chinese meal. It is not big place but really popular even in late night. Service is kind and nice, environment is acceptable. I recommend popcorn chicken, dumplings and shengjian Bao for first trial.

I needed to review so the owners know how amazing I found their food! I rarely leave reviews but I am SO happy I found this place.The dumplings were all amazing. The pan fried XLB were thick but I love them that way. I am a carb girl :)I have been on the hunt for a hot and sour soup that tasted like my old favorite place that shut down years ago. I am a die hard hot and sour soup fan. I FINALLY FOUND IT. Perfect sour, perfect spice, not too many mushrooms (I don’t like them really) but it ruins it when there’s too many. Ample tofu and egg. I am SO happy. It will be hard for me to not order it every other day 🥲!

Was in town visiting my daughter and was craving authentic Chinese dumplings. Went to another nearby place that was crazy filthy dirty and their options wad very limited. This place from the time we entered felt welcomed and was amazed by the huge selection of delicious food options. The food arrived steamy hot and over the top delicious. We shared a meal here recently. Their XLB is nice here, thin noodle wrap and a bit of soup inside. We also ordered stir fried garlic and green beans, combination fried rice, chicken and corn dumplings, KungPao chicken, golden sesame ball (fried mochi with sweet red beans, yum). The amount served fed 5 people, no leftovers. A friend we brought was pretty impressed. Service was nice, food was served quickly.

Reliable, delicious Chinese food. Good number of vegan and vegetarian options (labelled on the menu). Each table has a specific QR code for ordering online, and food arrives promptly even if they are busy with takeout orders. Im a repeat customer, and my food has been similarly tasty whether right from the kitchen or via delivery.Favorites: scallion/green onion pancakes, vegetarian hot & sour soup, vegetarian mapo tofu, green chive dumplings with egg. Rice is nice and fluffy, and you get a decent amount for $1.75.

Tucked inside a rundown strip mall, this restaurant is a real gem for some of us who are tired of finding parking spaces at downtown mountain view. Food is freshly made and deliciously authentic, decent portions and reasonably priced. I was the only dine in customer that early evening but a steady stream of delivery pick up kept the kitchen and two servers fairly busy throughout. I even ordered some frozen dumplings to go. It definitely deserves patronizing again and again.

Don’t come here if you’re expecting 白人 service. They will speak Chinese to you if you look remotely Asian. You will undoubtedly have to flag down the waiters to get water refills and the receipt. Food is ok and might deserve 3 stars by itself alone, although the taste of dumplings deteriorates to slightly below decent if ordered as takeout. I gave 1 star for their terrible customer service and queue management which kept me waiting for the longest out of all the south bay restaurants I ever tried. Price is not high in absolute but a bit above the value, and it feels sad when that extra is paid to their receptions incompetence.

Was moderately busy at 6pm with customers and food delivery folks doing pick ups.Had a moderate rate, but that was likely due to our arrival estimation. Other customers at tables did appear to be waiting for service.Turnip pancakes were golf ball sized balls with sesame seeds. Was expecting flat, but they were good.Plenty of parking, but an odd shaped plaza. Might be hard to see their sign from the street on your approach.Update: downgrade to a 2 star. We had hoped to pick up an order at 5pm, and called during the lunch hour. Promised for 5:15pm, we got there at 5:18, and waited until 5:50 when our order came out of the kitchen.The pancakes are good. Online menu says they are turnip, but inside menu says radish.

We like this place a lot. The xiao long bao are pretty decent, but I really like their noodles which seem homemade - they hold up to eating over multiple days! The beef pancakes are delicious. I would order multiple servings but that seems a bit too decadent even though they reheat well. Is there good cooking here? Well, its certainly possible. Theres been times whereve thought it was pleasant enough. But the truth of the matter is, Mountain View has always been a dead spot for good Chinese cooking, and if you need proof, just walk down Castro street.Dumpling Garden is a restaurant where there are moments. Moments where the food is fine, especially as they are comparatively more affordable compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area.The issue is primarily in the lack of consistency and the clear evidence of skimping. If you order the pan fried dumpling, youll find yourself biting into the air as only 1/3 - 1/5 of the dumpling has any protein stuffing. If you order take out soup dumplings, theyll conveniently forget the vinegar and chili or the chopsticks. The Thai tea will taste of 25% sugar and taste muted.Off memory, in the last 6 months, you will more often come across at least one notable issue that diminishes the flavor of the meal. It never feels like theres intent to make the food taste poorly, but there is a feeling of nickel and dime-ing.Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but the take-out leaves much to be desired.

Dumpling garden used to be really bad but they have recently revamped everything and it is now a lot better! Some dishes Ive tried:- Spicy boiled fish: Their best dish imo. Really nicely seasoned fish filets, perfect amount of spicy vs savory. Fish is tender, and there is a lot of it compared to veggies. Also has wood ear mushrooms which I personally really like.- Cucumber wood ear mushroom salad: Not bad but missing vinegar or some kind of acid. Sauce is soy sauce and garlic basically.- Bok choy with garlic: pretty good! Has nice wok hei.- Roast five spice chicken: Better than expected in terms of flavor. It has a super dry five spice flavor, and the dish is served cold. It is kind of in the style of chicken jerky as the chicken is pretty dry but thats just the style. Dont expect juicy chicken though.- Chow mein: Its fine, but its not seasoned well enough and personally wouldnt get this again.- 3 flavor dumplings: Tastes similar to frozen dumplings you can get at 99 ranch. Aka, not too bad but nothing special.- lotus root salad: I dont really like this as the lotus isnt very fresh and the flavor is very one note (basically salt).

I went there ~10:58. The door is open and there are staff inside. I was told they’re not open yet, which is understandable since the opening time posted on the door is 11:00. However, I waited past 11:00, and they said the waiter is still on his way. I left at around 11:15, since no one take my order. Apparently, they are working on a big takeout order - I can see a lot of to go boxes stacked on a table. Btw, this is a dumpling place and I saw a staff carrying a plastic bag of what seems to be bags of frozen dumplings. You can guess what that means.

Bad customer service, the waiter ignored my family of four. At first, I thought he just missed us since he only gave the lady after us a menu, and then he saw me looking at him. My family makes dumplings at home, so Im really picky about dumplings. Dumplings here are pretty well made, but the broiling was a little overdone. Also the chive pancake (not a pancake) wasnt crispy. Seems to be a skill difference with the person who made the food, and the person who did the last step of cooking it.

It’s easy to overlook in the comparison of plazas.Food is amazing and fresh!! They made dumplings and dimsum in house. Pretty cool to see they are making dumplings while I was eating. They have more dishes besides many kinds of dumplings. My fav are green onion pancakes w eggs and the hot &sour soup. This place is a little hidden tho, right by the car wash.

The only criticism is that we were not allowed to sit down when there were seats available, because the seats were for multiple people and there were only two of us. This was unreasonable, as we could obviously share a large table.
