E MON in Westlake Village

Probably one of the best Sushi places in the area. It is the type that generally requires no additional soy sauce or wasabi as each dish is a real work of art. The downside is limited seating and the fast turning of tables. Just order as you want it delivered. If you order everything all at once, it pretty much comes at once. Highly recommended

Where do I even begin?! This place is incredible! I have been to MANY sushi places all across the world (even in Japan) and I can confidently say this is one of the very best. The food is top-notch! Pretty much the best flavors you could ever get in sushi rolls!We ordered many different things this most recent visit to E⁺ MON - the Crispy Octopus Balls, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, Miso Soup, Teriyaki Chicken, Seared Salmon Breeze Roll, Hot ‘N Spicy Shrimp Popcorn Roll, Westlake Spicy Roll, and finally the Green Tea Banana Pudding for dessert!The octopus balls were REALLY good - I love takoyaki and usually always try them whenever I see them on a menu, and these were the best I’ve ever had, even better than those I’ve had in Japan. The Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna was perfectly crispy, and the tuna was super fresh and flavorful. Miso soup tasted exactly like it should (just really good miso soup…absolutely no complaints), Teriyaki Chicken was juicy, flavorful and not “cheap” or “artificial”-tasting like many other teriyaki chickens I’ve had. The three rolls we had were the stars of the show! Absolutely phenomenal - so many ingredients that all went together so nicely! I can’t wait to try them again!Lastly, who would’ve thought a dessert at a sushi restaurant ends up being one of my favorite ever?! Their Green Tea Banana Pudding was incredible! Best banana pudding I’ve ever had! If you have any room after your dinner, GET THIS! You won’t be disappointed! E⁺ MON is one of the best Japanese restaurants you will probably ever go to!

We sat at the sushi bar & had the Premium Nigiri. Amazing! Had a couple of rolls. Then, after another guest ordered it, we had the premium A5 Wagyu. Even more amazing.

Nice, small local sushi restaurant. Service is good and food is good. Had the spicy pork bao bun and the teriyaki chicken. Others at the table had Crunchy yellow tail roll and California roll. Ingredients are fresh and well prepared.

Wow. Super fresh, high quality, excellent service and a great variety on the menu. This is the real deal sushi. Every single thing coming out of the kitchen window looked fantastic and everything i ordered tasted amazing. They do it right here.

My absolutely fave place to eat sushi….best in the area! Sushi is beyond fresh and always delicious. I always look forward to going back. Which will be soon, again! Can’t wait!

I’ve been here twice and have really enjoyed the culinary journey that my taste buds went on each time.The service is great but there can be a wait. The website says they take reservations but when you call they shared that they only take reservations for groups of 8 or more.My first visit we were seated at the bar (by far my favorite spot as I love being where the action is), my most recent visit we were seated at a table outside and near the back. This was not the best seat as you can smell the trash and grease from the Popeyes next door, not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience. Hence the decrease in stars for atmosphere.

Came here for our early valentines dinner and had to write a review as soon as I got back to the car. This place is PHENOMENAL. The sushi is of such high quality and the service is top tier. Thanks to it being super bowl sunday the restaurant was quieter and we were able to chat with some of the sushi chefs. Ken, Yohan and Made, made our night 10x better. Such good conversations and excellent service. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We will be back!

The best sushi in the conejo valley by far.

I enjoyed the food here, the restaurant was a bit small though, I felt very crammed. When I saw the menu online I was excited to try their sushi. For appetizers,I ordered the potsticker, spicy tuna crispy rice and soft shell crab roll to share. I feel the spicy tuna had added food coloring because it was more red than usual.The premium nigiri was good. I can taste the quality in the fish. I can also taste the difference in the sushi rice, they use Matsuri top-grade sushi rice. However, since we sat at the table instead of the bar, the rice was a bit hard when we got the food, but overall the fish flavor and quality was still good. I appreciate that they allowed me to substitute mackerel for scallop. We also ordered the lemon roll which was my MIL favorite.Everything tasted fresh and good quality.
