The perfect place after a long day of air travel. The valet at the Hotel Amarano recommended it and the Italian place that was close, and it did not disappoint. Low prices, great hot food served up quickly, and friendly customer service.
The food is always fresh and well prepared. Service comes with a friendly smile. In these days of indifferent service, that means a lot. Not much ambiance, but youre not paying for fancy surroundings. All in all, you get more than you pay for. Weve never had a bad meal or experience here.
The service was fine, but the food was a bit bland. The vegetable tempura roll was ok but dry. The tofu rice bowl was mostly bean sprouts. My wife had the chicken curry noodles and said they were very watery. Oh well
We had the Emon combo with beef, chicken and shrimp tempura. The beef:had refrigerator taste, The chicken:ok, The rice:dry and the way that was served on the combo plate made rice cold.The emon noodle:dry and a bit salty. It taste like a pan fried pasta noodle(not Asian noodles)with some meat and vegetables. This is not authentic Japanese foods. Other vegetarian combos and curry dish:ok. However sevices were better than foods.

Food is ok but the service not so much. Even though i ordered $40 food for 2 people and asked for extra sauce and they charged me when i asked for 1 more sauce they told me that i need to order ahead and need to pay for it. I go there often and I dont think if 50 cent sauce is worth making a customer disappointed.
I regularly come by getting some food in this spot. I enjoyed the prompt customer service and well prepared food. 5 stars.

Hello everybodyThis is the best place for me in LA. I used to come here every week. I love their sashimi, curry and their salad which they call just salad. If you didnt like this place, then you werent eating Japanese food :)I hope to get back to you.

2023-10-05 15:11:21Visited this nice family owned restaurant after a visit to a theme park, and the staff was so welcoming the prices are decent and the quality of food was amazing! I have zero complaints. The owner gifted my kids Halloween candy and also a box of chocolate sticks! I was so surprised to see such treatment and filled my kids bellies out! Recommend this place 110%

2022-11-22 08:44:15I’ve passed by her several times and finally had a chance to give it a try and was not disappointed. The food was good and the price is more than reasonable. I had what is called the today special with salad, chicken teriyaki, 2 pieces cucumber roll, 4 pieces of California roll and I chose to have the shrimp tempura (there are options you can choose beside the shrimp tempura) and I wanted to try the sushi so I had a yellow tail roll. For a small place the service was quick and the people that work there are super friendly and helpful. I can’t say that anything really stood out but have no complaints and will give it a try again as I’d like to try some of the other items.

Both came with side salads, pickled veggies and bean sprouts, very good, came out to $30 and some change. Very good and will definitely be back!Location is clean and staff was friendly :)

As we arrived and were looking at the menu on the wall, a staff member offered us their full printed menu. We both got the Spicy Tuna Don, mine with avocado and his without. So delicious!!! Like a spicy tuna roll in a bowl!

2022-06-10 08:59:31Some of the finest Japanese food youll find in the area. Many of my friends that go to the school next by come here as regular customers. The restaurant simply has a great menu with plenty of delicious options. The bentos are the best aspect of the menu, theyre all amazing. The udon is terrific, sushi is amazing, rice bowls are great. Overall its a fantastic restaurant and I come here on a daily when I get my lunch or dinner break.
