Very cool building. The staff-owners(?) were friendly, kind, and helpful with the menu and grounds. The food and espressos were fresh and cooked perfectly!

Very delicious foods from bakery items to menu! Not a vegetarian burger type of lady, but the vortex burger is quite delicious! Best vegetarian burger I’ve eaten! Great friendly staff and amazing atmosphere this place gives you in and all around!

Love this spot for brunch and lunch. So relaxing and peaceful. I love eating outside. The food is always super fresh & made with pride (though I prefer more variety on the menu). The staff is friendly. Nice to walk around property to see art installations after eating!

UPDATE: Cafe offers JustEgg, tofu scramble, and vegan cheese to replace vegetarian breakfast options, but for some reason, they arent on their menu, you have to ask!Amazing vegan food, in the most serene setting! The staff is super friendly, and every meal weve had so far has been delicious. Definitely give this place a try, and support this local gem.

Traveled to the food for thought cafe and arrived at 12 in the afternoon on Sunday, and the entire place was shut down. I called, but no one answered. Pretty disappointed.

Havent been able to eat here as we have showed up on days its closed lol but I love the old school building and the area has all this cool art like a pyramid and sculptures and a meditation room (not sure if you can actually go in it but it has calming voices coming out of it) its just a cool place, we will be back to try the food soon lol

We came in for lunch. The staff was very nice. The food is cafeteria food that tastes like it’s just been reheated and but it’s priced like a restaurant. The setting is pleasant but the building feels run down like it hasn’t been updated since 1970. It could use a new coat of paint at the very least.

Tasty food in a wonderful environment. In the past I have ordered food that was served without the items listed on the menu description, but thank goodness it hasn’t happened the last two times. We used to enjoy the desserts, curry, & the Vortex burger back when they opened to the public. Most of the time the food is yummy & the energy of the surrounding place keeps us coming back.
