2023-11-26 02:55:14Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Flavors!During a recent visit to see our son and his fiancé, we discovered an extraordinary small eatery that left a lasting impression. Despite its modest size, the vibrant atmosphere here is as inviting as it is bustling. Our culinary journey began with the Guava Margarita and Mango Magic - a delightful burst of flavors that set high expectations for the meal ahead. And oh, did the food deliver! We indulged in a range of dishes - from the light and crispy popcorn chicken to the richly flavored beef roll and the tantalizing chili wonton. The pork over noodle and beef noodle soup were hearty main courses, each brimming with depth and aroma. But the true star was the sesame ball dessert, a perfect finale to an already impressive meal. What struck me most was the balance in each dish - flavorful, yet not overpowering, with a delightful aftertaste that lingers on the palate. This eatery truly masters the art of combining ingredients to create a symphony of tastes. If only theyd open a branch in Seattle! A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine, wholesome food.

2023-11-27 05:37:34Mediocre food at a decently high price for what it is. I got the beef noodle soup, but it wasn’t very flavorful with only a small amount of meat, which also wasn’t too flavorful. The noodles were also slightly overcooked. The appetizers were okay but the popcorn chicken didn’t taste like popcorn chicken. It was more like karaage with popcorn chicken garnish at best. The beef roll was really good but pretty small.

2023-08-25 01:33:52Very comfortable little restaurant. They have just a couple of tables with most of the seating being at the counter, which is pretty spacious. We went on a Thursday and there was no wait all evening, but its in a very busy strip of restaurants so its best to save your time and just park a few blocks away off Convoy. We had the beef roll (a little messy but very good), pickled cucumbers (very light taste, great with spicy food), beef noodle soup (our favourite!), and sesame noodles (very good but a little too heavy for a full entree). Great drinks and the service was also wonderful.

Priscella took care of us and was so sweet, patient and effeceint and knew the answer to all the questions. The food was amazing and looked like the photos. it was a good experience.

2023-11-18 16:57:16This place is quaint and easy to miss, but please go inside if you see it! We went during happy hour from 2-5 p.m. and most appetizers are a couple dollars off. EVERY ITEM I ordered was delicious and at the same level. I had the popcorn chicken, chili wontons, beef noodle soup, pork over noodles, and the Cosmic Mule and Lychee Colada. Everything surpassed my expectations and the server Amy is sooo kind! Even the chefs are kind as I asked for more oil with the pork over noodles and they brought out a whole extra plate of juicy ground pork at no extra charge. The music is also very chill giving modern R&B/Pop vibes which went well with the ambiance of the place. We even got 50% off our cocktails (just $4 each because of it) for showing that we have them on Yelp! I do not have a favorite dish out of the ones I tried as they all were THAT good, so honestly any of the items I mentioned above, you should try! I will be coming back here much more often!

2023-11-04 17:40:25Ive went to steamy piggy and seen from there they open another spot, so I had to try em out. Been looking for a good beef noodle in San Diego(Hawaii was the last spot I had some)To compare to the one in Hawaiis Chinatown one, it was good. The place isnt some local hole in the wall joint. Beef was juicy, I didnt like the style of noodles. Broth wasnt as bold as I thought it would be. Still a filling noodle bowl.Convoy has a plethora of Asian cuisine, hopefully they tweak the recipe on the beef noodle. Ill have to find one in SD to compare.

2023-10-26 00:02:14Second time here from LA. The guava margarita is always on point. Hanna is super nice and prompt in service. Always enjoy the atmosphere. The beef rolls is super good. Happy hour is like $1-3 off drinks and appetizers. Worth coming.

2023-10-19 07:54:39If I would have known earlier that steamy piggy is part of this chain I wouldnt have come. The extreme good reviews are definitely brought / incentivized and no where near authentic legit reviews. The dishes are max. Ok. None of the dishes were great or memorable.

2023-10-17 03:32:32Had Daniel and Julian as servers and they were very attentive. Food was good! We had the beef noodle and the beef roll as well as the sesame noodle dish. It was big portions for sure so had some to take home. Had the lychee cocktail and guava drink-both were good. I would come back!
