2023-11-18 22:27:15Four of us celebrated a birthday here for lunch on a Saturday! We was seated very quickly, and you order your dishes by scanning a QR code! The wait time for our first dish was about 20 to 25 minutes and 10 to 15 minutes in between next dish delivered to our table! All dishes are tasted alright and you can smell the pepper corn in the entire restaurant which was very inviting and open your appetite but just the wait time are killing it!We might come back during the weekdays if they have better service?

2023-11-14 22:11:19We ordered the sour pickle fish, green scallions beef and tofu fish. The portions are really huge, the food taste good too. We will definitely try other dishes next time.

2023-08-23 18:40:22The food are tasty and the owner is kind. We ordered an eggplant but it was too oily. We complained to the owner and he said sorry and changed another dish for us. At checkout he gave us 10% discount. The other dishes we ordered and the one we exchanged are good and tasty.

2023-11-25 22:09:45Came here for the spicy boiled fish fillet 水煮鱼片, my daughters favorite Sichuan dish. The quality and value did not disappoint. It was very good. The spicy soup base and tender fish fillet, combined with veggies such as napa and bean sprouts sent you straight to heaven. It was a bit spicy but in a flavorful and tolerable way. Ordering from barcode can let you choose spicy level and opt-out MSG if its undesired. Highly recommend this dish to everyone. The A vegetable dish (A 菜)we ordered was changed to bok choys (小白菜) without telling us first, citing seasonal, which was fine yet Id prefer them to communicate first, perhaps we dont like bok choys. It shows respect, doesnt it?The sweet and sour pork and the Mongolian beef with onions were both good! 👍Service was just adequate, nothing to rave about. Although the male waiter was friendly but wasnt helpful. I asked him to kindly pack the to-go box for us due to messiness, but he didnt do it so my intention of 18%-20% tips didnt happen and the liquid was spilled on the table from my handling. Comparing to my last experience of getting waiters help packing to-go and giving him good tips, service this time was average.Bright and clean environment.Overall great food and ok service. Hope they continue to improve service by communicating and checking with customers.

2022-11-23 02:26:05Taste 5 starts, service 5 starts! This was my first time coming here, and the restaurant will be one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. Very clean dining space. Food are taste very good. Excellent service. Also the quality of the rice is better than most Chinese restaurants.

2022-09-18 03:35:17Taste 4 starts, service 5 starts! The dishes are Sichuan cuisine, and the sea weeds pork soup is Chinese- bay cuisine! Just as my hometown tastes, very satisfying.cozy tables and chairs, Chinese musics, very comfortable to sitting in dinning with friends and family. The size of dish also significantly large.. we eat 30% food, and bring back 70%, lol. Nice.If if if, if there are some kid’s menu with not spicy food, and cheap kids toys, will be a more family friendly restaurant

2022-07-22 20:29:40Every so often one can get a craving for flavorful Chinese food and Ive been getting a push notification via Yelp for Asian take-out in my area advising to check this place out. My favorite was the green Sichuan fish soup (4 stars on the 1st day and as leftovers). The string bean was older (2 stars as they were starchy and overcooked in texture). The asparagus beef was 3 stars with an emphasis on the beef and less so on the asparagus (stalks sliced super-thin and sprouting tips). The fried rice was okay (3 stars) and light on the smoked ham and veggies.

2023-11-18 03:44:32Delightful and friendly little place in my neighborhood. I went in for the first time this week, and after having been shown the menu I tried the stir-fried lamb with buns, and it was delicious, spicy but not painful. Highly recommended.

2023-09-24 05:32:34I *love* this place. Delicious, authentic Chinese food, a super gracious staff, and a very family-having-a-good-time vibe. Its one of those hidden gems that you wont see driving down main roads. I found it during the tail end of the pandemic, looking on Doordash for dinner. I ordered shredded pork and combo noodles, figuring Id get one, maybe one and a half meals out of it.They sent me enough food to keep me satisfied for 3 full meals. It was literally 3-4lbs of food. Ive been back multiple times, both ordering delivery and visiting in person, and Grandmas Kitchen has *never* disappointed me or any of the dozen folks Ive brought with me!
