This was my first visit to a Vietnamese restaurant.I had the Banh Mi “Hanoi BBQ pork” sandwich.Good > crusty roll, fresh veg. I added hoisin sauce, with was very good.Bad > bbq pork had little to no flavor.I ordered a Coke, which was served in a can ($3).Dining area was clean and service was good.I might be willing to try it again, but will not rush back.

Been here a hand full of times now and I always get surprised just how good this place really is. I usually just do Pho, BBQ pork or chicken and the egg rolls but everything that comes out of that kitchen looks to die for... I have to try more dishes next time. I highly recommend you try it out and also try their Thai Milk Tea its very good!

Found this nice lil place online, and took my wife for dinner as we waited to pick up our kids from school. We ordered dine-in and ordered the rice paper spring rolls and also had the veggie rolls. Both were super delicious 😋. We order a hot jasmine tea 🫖, it was good as well. Unfortunately, time caught up with us and we had to ask if we could have our Pho 🍜 to-go. They were more than happy to do so. The hostess/waitress was very kind and friendly. A gentleman came out to bring us our soup and was very happy to greet us and thank us for coming in.I am definitely going back!!

Staff was great food was even better. I had the Vietnamese pancake, was cooked deliciously and complimented with the tasty sauce on the side. The staff was so helpful when my battery of my car broke down, the owner decided to step out and fix it himself because he had extensive experience with cars. What a great guy!

Ive been going through this menu with my fiancé for months now and i have yet to find something that didnt make me do a happy dance with my feet under the table. The freshness and quality have yet to let me down and the flavors are magic.I doesnt look the most inviting from the outside but dont let that fool you. Its very nice and clean inside and once you bite into your meal youll be just like me. Shaking your head in pity at the people who walk right by this place to go to Chipotle or Chinese food.

I was thrilled to find a Vietnamese restaurant close to the Claremont Village! Great service, ambience, and food. I had the regular egg rolls (the Hanoi Crispy Rolls werent available on my first visit) and grilled pork rice platter. Lovely flavors! Ive since had the Banh MI and the aforementioned Hanoi egg rolls. Have not had a disappointing experience here. It is definitely my new go-to!

Came here for lunch. Lots of room for seating but there were barely any customers. The customer service is basically non-existent here. The only server came up to us to take our order then stayed in the kitchen unless he had to give us our food or watch some YouTube on the TV. We werent even served our water until we asked for it multiple times.The food is not bad. This style of pho is from Northern Vietnam so dont expect the typical sweet/richer flavors. Northern Pho focuses more on a clear and simple broth that includes wider noodles. Dont think Id come back thought because of the lack of customer service and tiny portions.

The Vietnamese crepe was really good. Crispy with lots of pork, shrimp and fresh veggies! I lived the fish sauce with peppers on the table. The shrimp pho broth could have used a bit more flavor and I prefer the thin rice noodles to the thicker ones but the shrimp was good. I would have loved some fresh basil but did get a lime wedge and jalapenos.Clean and modern look. Loved the wall decorations. Friendly and patient staff.

Ive been coming here for pho since my first visit from more than a year ago. Ive tried almost every pho restaurant in the SGV. Yes, I am a phonatic. This was the only pho restaurant in the Inland Empire I ended up going until my last visit on 08/26/23. Before this date, my rating wouldve been 5 stars. The broth just wasnt as good anymore and, most of all, the value went down so much. The price was already above average in the area which I dont mind if the portion and quality remain. If it was only the broth, I would give it another chance since anything could have gone wrong that day which I understand that things happen but when the portion starts shrinking, its a sign to me to start searching for another one which is going to be tough. My wife has small appetite and she complained to me that the noodle and beef portion were ridiculously much less than all our other past visits. The whole bowl was mostly broth. The noodle portion was literally 2 bites. A pho and a ramen kitchen is an assembly line. Every step is designed and following a fixed process. Its just not acceptable that, not one, but two (the noodle and the meat) items failed to meet all the previous visits. I own many businesses with manufacturing process. I know how it suppose to work. Time to start searching for another one.

I think I will start with the good part and then talk about some suggested improvements. The food tastes great and the presentation is always nice. The restaurant is nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, clean and I like the open kitchen. Also, the owners and the staff are awesome and friendly people.Now here are some suggestions: I am not too fond of the dance music they play and it is sometimes loud. Also the portion size is kind of small compared to another pho place near by (in San Dimas). And this is the reason (portion size) that I and my family has not been to this restaurant for a while. Also, they charge extra for credit card which is also another thing other places dont do. At another pho place they give you a discount when you pay cash. It may be the same to say pay extra for credit card or get discount for paying cash. But I like the word discount rather than pay extra 😄

Amazing food!! This restaurant is run by a family and they are super passionate and friendly. Plenty of seats and they serve Asian beer. I got the pho and it was very filling. Definitely recommend this spot for food lovers :)

The Bun Cha is delicious and a must try! We followed Hanoi from La Verne to Claremont, and the quality of the food never fails. I have to mentioned the amazing family that owns Hanoi too. They are always ready to greet each customer with a welcoming heart and a warm smile.

Best authentic Hanoi cuisine in town. Don’t hesitate to try Hanoi egg coffee, and it doesn’t even smell eggy at all. The staffs are really friendly, and they’re always double check on you to make sure you know what are you ordering or do you know how to eat that dishes.

Far from terrible- BUT- far from great!Mediocre is way I’d say about the Chicken Pho and Fatty Beef Pho, as well as the BBQ Chicken Banh Mi.The price is a bit more than the quality you get. The biggest issue is the use of too much salt or more than likely MSG in the Pho. In trying to make the Pho more flavorful, it cheapens it and makes it less authentic and less worth eating. The service was merely ok if you don’t expect much, which we didn’t based on the looks of the place. I’m new to the area and I haven’t had any other Vietnamese food around, but I’m inclined to think it wouldn’t be hard to find something better than this.Overall- it fills your gut, but it doesn’t have the same satisfying feeling that authentically flavorful Pho should give.My advice: try to make something great WITHOUT the artificial additives.2.6 STARS

One of my favorite Vietnamese places are down the street and now a new Favorite is up the street! I used to have to go to Garden Groove to hunt for unique regional Viet food and now there is one in Claremont. What makes it unique is its Hanoi Style which means it has different things then your average Viet restaurant. So the owner recommended Hanoi Style Vermicelli and it was great, what made it different was a fish sauce/broth mixture was served on the side at first I thought Oh its a side of soup. But no its more like a dip, you dip your noodles and other side stuff into it and eat it. Again not your average and it was good.

Egg coffee !!! Do not miss trying the egg coffee !! Ive been to many Vietnamese places and never have I seen a place offer this very traditional and yummy egg coffee. Now the pho ! Finally found a place where I can enjoy the broth without worrying about to much salt ! Flavourful, fresh noodles . Oh ! And the peanut sauce that comes with the summer rolls ! Beautiful atmosphere... but how? Culture appropriation is beautiful? Is that what were saying? Having Caucasian servers in conical hats has to be something beyond beautiful - it must be poetically tragic. But our tragedy has more than just one act.Did you ever ponder if pho exists in a diet variation? Look no further than here to confirm that strange conundrum. The broth can be best described as watered down soy sauce and that is still paying it a compliment. I was bewildered by the style of noodles that came with the soup and whatever cut of beef mustve been available at the moment. Even with the inclusion of the usual fixings, there was no salvaging this disappointing meal. After explaining the experience to the server and being assured that the traumatic experience we just suffered through was the traditional style of the dish... there just was no needed reaffirmation that we had come to the wrong place for pho.Ive gone through a divorce, family losses, and a subsequent breakup, and to be quite honest, this pho was by far the most disheartening experience of the year.Side note: to Sheila Garcia - dramatically offensive food necessitates dramatically offensive commentary.Side note: to Sheila Garcia - Tasteless. The Spring rolls were good but it looked like 1 fill one cut into 2. I expected much longer ones. So I got 2 short ones instead of 4 short ones.The beef rice didnt have much flavor as expected. The shrimp tempura were too skinny andd tasted as if they had been taken out of the freezer pr3made like Costco ones and then fried. It had panko flakes Nothing like tempura.

Let me first say that my 2 stars does not represent the food or the service. Both of those were great. Really good food.The reason for the 2 stars was the lack of respect for all customers in this restaurant. When my brother in law and myself went into the restaurant before 5 pm on Saturday, the music was unnecessarily loud. It felt like you were eating at a club, were the owner was cracking up the volume to try and attract a young crowd. I get it, however there was only one table with a group of 20 year Olds and a family of 3. The music was so loud it made for a hard time to have a conversation at your own table.After I paid my bill which included a 20% tip, I spoke to the manager and told him that the food and service were on point but the music messed up the 1st time experience of coming into this restaurant. His response is that the younger age people come over from all over and Friday, Saturday and Sunday they play the loud music for that crowd from 5 - 9 pm. However their wasnt any of that age group except for that one table. There was an older couple that walked in and walked out when they heard the blaring music. So just beware, if want a nice quiet dinner with family and friends avoid this place during the hours the manager claims is for the young crowd. Take it to go.

I really enjoyed the natural taste of their pho. I had the pho tai and everything about it was spectacular, I easily can say that this place is going to be on my top 3 favorite spots to eat at locally. The meat was tender, juicy and not nervy, vegetables were fresh and the broth was delicious and very tasty. They also serve their pho with flat noodles which is way better then the skinny standard noodles! No need to add hoisin or sriracha sauce. You can definitely taste that they put care into the food they serve. I definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Best Pho place weve been to in this area so far. We had dinner here for the first time tonight, and the food was excellent and the service (by the owner) was great! When we asked the owner about some of the really cool decor, he explained he brought all the items from Viet Nam and did the decorating himself to save money. He has real talent - La Verne even gave him a best design award for 2019.

Good atmosphere, muddled by a kid watching his YouTube on the main TV. The food is OK, the soup is light and the toppings are different than other places which I liked. The problem was that the noodle amount I got was VERY small, even for a regular size bowl. Seen this place coming off the freeway on the way to another Vietnamese restaurant. Decided to give it a try. Simply AMAZING!Being Vietnamese and had my share of dining in the actual Ha Noi. Hanoi Kitchen is the most authentic Hanoi style Viennese food Ive had outside of Vietnam. Had two versions of Bun Cha including bun cha Hanoi. Astounding. Much better than anything Ive had in Westminster. Blows away anything in Pomona too.This is now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant outside of Vietnam.

Poor customer service. Our server appeared to be annoyed our entire visit I had lunch with my friend who happens to be Vietnamese. She was not impressed with her dish. It was my first time having Pho. My friend said that the broth lacked flavor and it was missing lots of authentic ingredients. Although the window had an A. The place was dirty and at least 6 tables were full of dishes.

My friend and I went here for the first time today and by the end of it, we were very satisfied with the service and food (: The owners are extremely friendly, funny and attentive. Im shocked to see banh xeo as an appetizer because Ive never seen it on any viet menu. Im very ecstatic to try it next time, its one of my favorite childhood dishes! Im definitely going back soon with my parents! The owners made our experience there phenomenal 👏We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, seafood stir fry and shrimp springs rolls. All items were delightful and you get to choose 4 different noodle types for the stir-fry too! My spouse and I recently moved to La Verne from the Little Saigon area, also described as the heart of the Vietnamese community, where most Vietnamese refugees settled during the diaspora. Folks tend to recognize the Little Saigon area as Vietnamese food Mecca. When we moved, I was saddened to be so far from banh mi, com tam, etc. and far from my beloved Vietnamese community, where one hears Vietnamese as soon as they leave their homes. However, upon realizing Pho Hanois opening and it being La Vernes first Vietnamese restaurant, I had to give it a shot! The items listed on the menu displayed regional specialities of Ha Noi. We ended up ordering the calamari, chicken wings, bun cha Hanoi, rau ma, and goi cuon chay. So tasty! The food presentation was excellent. Everything looked fresh, was well-plated, and portions were adequate. Taste-wise, I was incredibly impressed! The dishes were dang good! In comparison with food in Little Saigon, I would say Pho Hanoi is as good as it gets! Plus, you can avoid the traffic, congestion, and folks driving out of control. Great food, without chaos and craziness? Yes, please! Also, the staff at Pho Hanoi are exceptional- a great, little Vietnamese family sharing their love of Vietnamese cuisine with La Verne residents and creating an inviting ambiance for all. Aside from speaking Vietnamese with my family, it was nice to speak Vietnamese with the folks I just met here in La Verne and pay homage to our heritage and the ongoing experiences that shape our community. I am already looking forward to the next time!

Great menu, love the price! I wish they had a plain shrimp paste without the bean curd though. As for the soup, the noodles were different, shaped like a fettuccine, but I thought it was yummy. Wow first time ever for this went in at 6:30 and only 2 tables had customers, but I didnt see any employees so we sat ourselves and waiting 10 minutes without seeing a single employee or even getting a menu. Needless to say we got up and left. Definitely will not be returning.

For the record, I think this place is more deserving of 3.5 stars. My only complaint is that the Pho Dac Biet (aka the combo, and my go-to item at every Vietnamese restaurant) had a disappointing broth. It didnt have that rich beefy flavor that I was looking for. It tasted too much like a light chicken broth with too much lemon grass and a hint of ginger. I didnt even finish the whole soup, which has literally NEVER happened. I ALWAYS finish my Pho(all my food in general, really lol). The meat and noodles were its saving grace, but, the broth definitely lacking.The grilled pork vermicelli was damn good and that gives me confidence to return to try other stuff on the menu.Also, I should mention everything was over-priced. Even the drinks were outrageously priced.The vibe is cool in here though, if you like raves/djs. Lots of lights and loud club remixes of popular songs. I think these guys definitely put the Pho in Fun!!!*UPDATE*I spoke with the owner, and he believes the cook put the wrong broth in my soup. He gave me a sample of the beef broth and it tasted better than what was in the pho. I updated my rating to 4 stars!!!
