Food was good, service was non existent, and you are forced to tip,Edit: atmosphere was nice, the interior was very nice but I had to get up quite often to get the attention of the service of the person helping us, and a refund is not necessary, I was satisfied with the food, it was delicious. I would just work on the customer service aspect. And I read the back of the QR code quite well, I appreciated that the person served us, but felt ignored
I found this to be a very odd experience. You seat yourself, order your food online, a server never even came and welcomed us, they brought our food but I had to get my drinks from a refrigerator myself and ur was cans of sodas so there weren’t any refills. They never came back to check on us. When you want to order more you have to do it on online where it makes you put the tip in with each new order. I’m not even sure what I was tipping since I got my own drinks and had to get my second round of food myself from the counter. When I asked to pay they never brought me a check, they told me to walk up to the front to pay. The bathroom is locked so you have to get a code to even get in….the hallway to the bathroom is a storage area with ladders snd cleaning supplies…AND tge food was sub par. The lobster was chewy and fishy. I’ll never come back

It was so delicious! It was our first time eating here. But, we phoned in our big order of 6 rolls! We just happened to want to eat at home. We were not disappointed! Everything was fresh and made to order. Very nice staff and very accommodating! Prices are very good for great quality! Cant wait to go back!
I am I absolutely love the sushi place! I think for the amount of sushi we get it’s a decent price. Their baked salmon roll is my favorite hands-down. I have only lived in the city for a while a year and have already ordered a few times! This sushi place has not let me down not once I highly recommend it

Sushi is my second favorite and most ordered food type and Hara Sushi never fails to disappoint. As a Lake Elsinore resident, Hara Sushi is my go to spot for Sushi. Reasonable prices, delicious food, and friendly service. What more could you ask for?No matter what roll, appetizer, or meal we have ever ordered from here, my wife and I have never been disappointed. My favorites are the Caterpillar and Philadelphia rolls!If you enjoy Sushi you can’t go wrong with Hara Sushi!The only negative thing I have to say about Hara Sushi is that they are closed sometime in the middle of the day for break. I came today just after 3pm and they said they are closed until 4. I don’t know when they close for break but I wish their posted hours reflected that.
Food was ok, the service was terrible. Almost one hour to get our food, they serve us water and after our food was delivered to our table nobody came to ask if we needed anything else. When we paid the lady thats at the cash register added the tip her self, she charged 20% tip. That was our first and the last time we go eat there.

I wasnt impressed with my experience. They had a lot of call in orders, and they were not staffed properly to handle the customers in the dining room (so we sat and waited a long time between rolls). Sat at the sushi bar, but was surprised to see the sushi was prepared in the kitchen. So we didnt get to see any of the fish or preparation (which is some of the fun of eating sushi for my family). The rolls tasted like sushi that youd get from a buffet - not a high quality, restaurant worthy dinner.
Delicious!Food is great! Always on-time when I order pick-ups, their teriyaki beef bowl is very very delicious as well as their rolls. Food never disappoints.Ive never personally sat and dined in but everytime I go in it seems they are upgrading and reamping their location, looks very cute and the atmosphere is great. Family/ people running the resturant are always super polite and always there to great you and offer their services. Never disappointed other than their closed on Tuesdays but I saved that note in my contact number for them so I remind myself lol
Its too warm in there. Sushi needs to be very cold to be fresh and safe to eat.My boyfriend only ordered 1 roll and tip the CASHIER 1$ and then he said its okay, it gets hard sometimes You dont need to tip anyone, a tip is gratuity. In my opinion, that was unnecessary. Of course, my boyfriend laughed it off but. Id never go back.
New owners are amazing.. the sushi is definitely a hit. I gotta say the only thing I do miss is the different smoothie that were around when red bowl was around. Besides that keep up the great work and amazing service.
This place is amazing! Hidden gem! The best sushi in the Menifee - Canyon Lake - Lake Elsinore area! And trust me, we tried sushi in many more fancy places, but after we found this place we always come back here when we think sushi. Owners are also very friendly and have a great pride in their food. And prices are very reasonable. Avocado bomb (a must try!) cost less then $6. If you want to eat your sushi in a more beautiful setting - just call them, make an order, pick up your sushi and have a picnic. Highly recommend!

This place is very underrated! The food is always fresh and prices are more that reasonable. Not having a liquor license hurts them. But you can call and/or order online and easily pick up. Their chefs choice sashimi is extremely fresh and never disappointing
GREAT sushi! Very fresh. Great customer service. And I can feed my family of 5 without breaking the bank. It has to be my favorite sushi place. Its a cherry on top that it is also affordable. I am moving out of lake elsinore soon and we are sad that we cant get convenient, delicious sushi like we have been.
Absolutely love Hara Sushi!! It’s always fresh and if you like more stuffing in your rolls then rice this is the place to go! I’m never dissatisfied with my sushi here. Honestly only place I eat sushi. Highly recommend!!

Red Bowl is gone but used to have great service and good teriyaki bowls and sushiThe new owner converted restaurant in a Sushi restaurant and kept some or most of Red Bowl. The bad thing is the serving portions were reduced. They didnt honor the way food was served.Also, they need a more fluent English speaking clerk. New owners are pleasant but need more customer service orientation.Im not trying to discourage anyone from coming to eat but i share what i experienced.Hopefully, they will develop a better and appealing business strategy.I still eat here. #1 my favorite
Im here visiting from Ga, and I love sushi and this place has good reviews. I got the rainbow roll. Brought it home opened my to go box and immediately got a fish odor. Now fresh fish shouldnt smell. No way Im eating that. Luckily I got some steam rice so thats what Im having for lunch
A family run establishment. Delicious food, friendly folks.Update: They appear to have hired on some additional staff and redone the lighting. The service was a little slow, but with some training it will be better.
When I walked to the register with my son the guy didnt say anything. I asked him if he was ready he said yes. My son and I dont eat seafood but love to get certain rolls with cream cheese. He told us we could not do that on a couplenof different rolls. I asked for 2 ice waters and he said No. No we dont. I said I dont understand why you arent able to serve me the water or cream cheese if Im willing to pay extra. He mumbled under his breath we are special and if you dont like it you can go somewhere else I let him know I would give him a review. We went somewhere else and got exactly what we wanted. This man seemed bothered to have people there and I will never return.
The food was ok. Same as customer service. We walked in and we didnt know if he had to wait to be seated or could just sit wherever so I had to ask. We were the only customers in there and the food took a while to come out. Appetizers came out after the food because they had forgot that we ordered it. And again, we were the only customers there at one point. It was very okay-ish.
Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Ill probably come back just to chat with the owners.Edit: After getting home and eating what we ordered, we were extremely pleased with the food!Great owners, great food.

This place is gross. I don’t have high standards for cheap sushi, but it wasn’t worth the $4 I spent on each one. The miso soup was disgusting. How an Asian place messes up miso soup is beyond me. Won’t be back.

Great prices for what you get. Im a bit picky about sushi and I approve. Not a big enough selection of rolls, however. I liked the Washington and Alaska rolls.
New owners have really messed worth the menu. I used to love going with my boyfriend and ordering the house fried rice or Katsu. They took off fried rice from the menu entirely. The Katsu.... well isnt made with katsu cracker crumbs for the breading. So essentially i ordered fish katsu and got a plate that was 50% wilted salad in a watery ginger dressing, 25% white rice (was chewy, undercooked), and finally two small fish fillets that appeared to be just stock frozen Sysco Food Supply fried whiting that they either heated in a microwave (by the taste), or flashed fried from frozen via deep fat fry. Either way, one or two greats ago this was my favorite Asian (Japanese) place in Elsinore. Now its mostly sushi on some mislabeled soups. Last trip boyfriend ordered beef udon and they swore it was authentic udon noodles... been to Japan... lived there 9 months... that was ramen... the new owners can only tell you what their return on investment is, and not a **** thing about Asian food. Used to be a Japanese family and friends save for the cashier in the kitchen and management/ ownership. Now its just another place you can go to and order in English just to have it relayed in Spanish to the kitchen...
Me and my husband eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month best sushi in Elsinore the staff is awesome and it wont break the bank. Love this place!

2023-10-25 00:04:40This restaurant has been a welcome addition to our town of Lake Elsinore since 2016. These days, they only do take out but I still enjoy their Las Vegas roll. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. The owners are incredibly nice people and they make everything to order.

2022-08-28 18:00:43A different dining experience. Walking in the place is cozy and clean. The menu is located on the screen just to the left as you walk in. You order there and have a seat. There is no soda dispenser, so you have to grab a can out of the mini fridge. When your food is ready they call you come pick it up. The woman who works there is disabled so Im guessing thats why they run it that way. The food was good. I would recommend trying it out.

2017-01-17 23:28:53This place reminds me of the teriyaki joint that I used to go to in LA. The salad dressing is amazing and the teriyaki sauce is really tasty too. Even though thier serving portions got a little bit smaller its still worth visiting occasionally

Anyone who says they are forced to tip is trolling.I tip because the food is bomb and its a locally owned place, not because Im forced to.
