New owners have really messed worth the menu. I used to love going with my boyfriend and ordering the house fried rice or Katsu. They took off fried rice from the menu entirely. The Katsu.... well isnt made with katsu cracker crumbs for the breading. So essentially i ordered fish katsu and got a plate that was 50% wilted salad in a watery ginger dressing, 25% white rice (was chewy, undercooked), and finally two small fish fillets that appeared to be just stock frozen Sysco Food Supply fried whiting that they either heated in a microwave (by the taste), or flashed fried from frozen via deep fat fry. Either way, one or two greats ago this was my favorite Asian (Japanese) place in Elsinore. Now its mostly sushi on some mislabeled soups. Last trip boyfriend ordered beef udon and they swore it was authentic udon noodles... been to Japan... lived there 9 months... that was ramen... the new owners can only tell you what their return on investment is, and not a **** thing about Asian food. Used to be a Japanese family and friends save for the cashier in the kitchen and management/ ownership. Now its just another place you can go to and order in English just to have it relayed in Spanish to the kitchen...

Best food and service. I have allergies and its very hard to find a Japanese restaurant that will accommodate to do substitutes. Sushi is very fresh and yummy. Prices are very reasonable. Best time to come in is lunch time.

This is the BEST place to go eat Japanese food if you live in Menifee. They are way better than the one located in Menifee Marketplace!! I was born and raised in Japan and have eaten at many Japanese restaurants in SD/Inland area. By far this is the best one Ive tasted living here in Menifee. The owner, Michelle is super sweet and my kids love eating here too. The ingredients are super fresh! If you love eating sushi you will love eating here!!

Went to have a family dinner tonight. Outside as to socially distance. We have a large family and we're denied the right to put two outside tables together that were on the public sidewalk, not even a part of the property due to “covid” regulations. Wrong! There was no canopy, no fencing off of property, no signs outside etc. My family lives on a large lot with two homes we all have been together since before covid and during. There's no need to socially distance from each other. Also, sidewalks are public property, not private. These restaurants put a couple tables outside and think the sidewalk is theirs. Inside the restaurant there were multiple parties sitting together at tables that did not live together. Also they were allowed to move chairs to tables inside the restaurant to suit larger parties, but outside they refused us the right to move a single table and add a couple chairs to accommodate our family. Again, it's public property on a sidewalk. Also, you damn well can move a table to accommodate a party that is together within covid regulations. Open air, outside, on a public sidewalk. We will not be going to Main Street Kitchen and Tap ever again. We have brought ridiculous amounts of business to them since they have opened. We decided on next door, Stadium Pizza where outside, we could sit wherever we want and move tables if needed.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My girlfriend and I tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. We placed our order online and it was a 45 minute wait. We got there about 55 min as we had read review it took time and guess what! Our food wasn't ready. We waited an extra 45min after the time it was supposed to be ready? once we received the food it was wrong. We ordered the michi dog with no onion and we got a plain hot dog with nothing on it. Being mad at the wait already we took the hot dog back in to get fixed and the ladies at the counter were rude about it and looked like they didn't want to be there. They seemed bothered at the questions we asked and other customer asked. Once we got home to eat the rest of the food the keto taco cheese shell was soggy and not cooked all the way. Then the fries had some meat that was cold. Super disappointed in this place and will not be returning. A waste of $50 we spent there that night. They need better organization and customer service. Also the menu when you order online is In Spanish only so hard to figure if you don't know Spanish. I get good food takes time as their sign says BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD FOOD! Not worth the money or the time or the attitude. They should be able to read their own menu if they make it in Spanish and what a customer wants and does not want on their items. Won't be returning do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money here unless you like doing that. Update: we been back one more time just as disappointing rude attitude. My gf allergic to things and we ordered things without everything she is allergic and guess what when we picked it up it was in our food! Won't be returning try other places in murrieta and San Diego way better!

Coming from a town full of awesome diners, throwback drive thrus, food trucks, and classic eaterys we landed in Elsinore where we were surprised to learn that there are few and far between. I mean few and waaaaay far. Now I can say that Annies has some of what I miss, my wifes only real go to for a diner experience. The breakfast is great the lunch menu is to and the dinner is good when you eat it for the latter. This place closes so early even the early birds gotta be wondering if were trying to put them to sleep before theyd like too. Things have changed a little since ownership switched hands but for the most part menu is somewhat in tact. I suggest the Breakfast Burrito w/beans great way to start the day finish with some coffee cake. Lunch I like the French dip, The club sandwich, and for dinner ask me in 40 years when I decide to turn down for the evening sometime after 2:30 pm. Oh yeah the ambiance is great and the ladies who hustle table to table are a sight for sore eyes.
