2023-07-21 01:38:45Really good food, and their buns are all so cute. They are made to resemble different types of animals, and each one has different flavors. For example, the turtle one has green tea matcha filling. Their ramen is also really good. The flavor is amazing and theres a lot of different ingredients. Plenty of parking here and also a lot of seating. Service is good and food comes at a reasonable speed.

2023-09-20 11:50:09I mostly had their character buns and normal buns. I definitely prefer the normal buns (had duck and pork belly) over the character buns for savory flavors. I love the dessert character buns for the sweetness and the cute design. I tried the unicorn (ube), turtle (matcha), and chicken character buns. Their cocktails are super good and well-balanced (more on the sweeter side). For appetizers, I tried their crab wonton and chicken karaage. They both were ok. I have been here on different occasions and the chicken karaage is sometimes overfried (almost burnt), but when it is cooked perfectly, it is good! The Encinitas location is definitely more chill and my longest wait time was 15 minutes during dinner rush.

2023-05-22 21:39:49We originally came to try the cute character buns but we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious other items on the menu were. The bulgogi beef udon and the spam baobao buns were 10/10. The character buns we got were very cute but the other items actually tasted better. Will try more next time!

2022-08-08 00:37:13Love this noodle house. Second time here and once again, it did not disappoint. The food is great and so is the service. Last night I had the vegetable Ramen with chicken, shrimp bao bao buns and calamari. All were excellent and service was quick for a Saturday night. Previous visit I had the chicken katsu skillet and panda buns and my husband had the salmon skillet. All were very tasty. Portions are very generous.

2023-05-02 15:03:32Very good buns, and ramen. Friendly atmosphere, noise level is normal. The turtle character bun was my favorite. Matcha favored, I don’t normally like matcha that much but this bun made me fall in love with it more.

2022-11-08 22:50:08Probably wont get the Chickie Ramen again unless I can add some seasoning.. My wife got the Spicy Chicken and that seemed a little better. The egg custard bao bun was good!Geran (the only server for a while) seemed nice but, super busy. Probably due to 7 of the 8 tables being occupied in the back of the restaurant.Hope to go back and try different food to hopefully redeem the ramen.

2022-12-11 03:15:25I’m a little disappointed with this place. The 3 stars are purely because of the cuteness of the character buns. We tried the cow buns with bbq beef and the bunny with Nutella on the inside. We also tried the chicken karaage which I forgot to take a picture of. Main dishes ordered were 2 Haru ramen and one Chicken katsu. Nothing wow about it. The noodles in the Haru felt, looked, tasted just like spaghetti pasta. Chicken karaage and katsu were just ok. Service was good and fast. The place was busy.

2023-05-09 15:01:55The food is good, no doubt. It just doesnt seem too authentic and caters more to the local clientele. Its a fun spot, lots of people, good vibe. The drinks were good (and pretty). But the music the kitchen staff listen to, Cypress Hill? House of Pain? DAMN, it was banging!
