Went on a Tuesday evening for dinner with a friend. The place was empty but our waitress was super fun and made the time enjoyable.The food was delicious and served quickly. The restaurant was spotless and had enough parking (in a strip mall). The inside is a lot cooler looking then the outside so do judge a book by its cover.Pro tip: no matter what, they will not seat you unless the whole party is there.

The Tonkotsu ramen and Chicken (teriyaki) bowl were my favorite. The pork in the ramen is so good and very rich in flavor that I had to order a bowl. The rice for the pork bowl and the salad was something I was not so fond of but overall the main dishes were good. I’ll definitely be coming back. The chili oil and paste are not as spicy as I thought but it added a pleasant taste with a small kick. The vegan ramen was really good!Heads up, you get charged a 16.575% service fee for dining in. Luckily you’re able to remove that fee if you wish. I am not sure why they would add that fee since the restaurant is always busy so I must assume the owner makes a good profit to help its staff/team (?) if not, then the owners really need to pay their staff a living wage.

A quick service ramen spot with no frills attached, very similar to ramen restaurants in Japan.The spicy cold noodles was very good, but if you like your noodles to be spicy I would recommend getting the chilly oil or house spicy sauce add on. The egg and bamboo tasted amazing, would come back!Wish the restaurant offered bibs for spicy noodles since there is a chance for it to splash on clothes and more than 1 napkin.

Highly recommend! Delicious Tonkotsu!Been ordering takeout from this place for some time now. The food is consistently delicious.Finally had the chance to dine-in, and was very impressed with the minimalist cozy environment, with good music playing. The service was excellent, and the food is amazing fresh!Having eaten take out for so long, and enjoying the meals on my own, it was a nice experience to see the aesthetics of the shop with the delicious food.The passion about ramen really shines here.Highly recommend!

Very popular spot if you like Japanese ramen. This place gets busy but the good thing is there is plenty of parking. They have tonkatsu and shoyu ramen. Really flavorful and they serve a large portion so I end up taking leftovers to go. They do serve sake, beer and wine as well. They play 90s hip hop. Fun vibe and easy going staff.

Soo good I unfortunately forgot to take a picture, but definitely will next time. I had the Vegan Ramen and it was rich in Flavor. The food was delicious! It was my first time trying Ramen and this was really the best! The pineapple drink was delicious and refreshing. We sat on a community table but it wasnt bad at all, we had enough space in between to where we didnt even notice the group at the end of the table. Will be going back soon.

One of the best ramens in the area. We keep coming back for the tonkatsu ramen. We like to add the garlic oil and the chili sauce for some extra flavor. The buns and chicken appetizers are also delicious. Their new pina colada drinks are worth a try if you want something a little sweet afterward. Low key and casual.

Great food, their dishes had wonderful flavor and their spicy sauce was very flavorful. -1 star because they automatically tack on a percentage onto your bill as a service charge. I believe that people should just be paid properly instead of passing on a salary onto the customer via additional charges or fees. The charge can be removed, but the idea that it is added in the first place gives you and idea of how this company doesnt value its employees.

Ok first time here. Great food and very friendly staff. It may take a few minutes to get a table but its worth the wait time. The noodles are the best the pork is so soft it melts in your mouth. I had the pork bun and that was very tasty I really recommend that. I also had the garlic fried chicken that was tender inside and was very crispy. I also had the Tonkotsu Ramen that is tasty as well. Be very careful about the house spicy sauce its good but hot hot if you put alot on. You just need to try this place its the best place to get some great food. Once you try this place you will come back again and again.

The Ramen is delicious. Its very expensive $15-16 per large bowl of Ramen. There are only 3 Ramen choices, pork, another pork and vegan. They automatically add a gratuity of 16.57% service was okay but it was very busy. We had to wait 15-30min for a table.

The tonkotsu ramen was exactly how i like it, i only wish they offered mushrooms and narutomaki. the broth is nice and creamy, the thicker noodles were perfectly cooked and this is one of few ramen places that actually knows how to make the eggs perfect. the pork was also cooked to perfection. i have no complaints about anything i ate, i only wish there more ingredients for me to eat in the first place.

Remember when cash was king in America ? This place refuses to take cash for payment and adds 16.5 % to your bill which leaves no incentive for your server to do their job. I miss the good old days. I refuse to do business with a no cash policy. I look forward to the day a power outage comes to a place like this and nobody can pay their check.

I got the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. The tonkatsu broth is creamier and less savory than I’m used to but still delicious. I added the hot sauce and it was a perfect complement. The pork buns were good, I’d ask for a little less sauce next time. Overall pleasant experience.

Pork buns were really good. Ramen was spot on, I had the thick cut noodles. Real depth of flavor. The chasu was so tender, it melted in your mouth. The chili sauce was amazing. It started smooth but gave a slow burn in your throat. The only downside is small restruant and the parking lot is oddly shared with the factory workshops. Not an ideal place for a restaurant, but really good food.

My top 5 ramen tried in SoCal! The broth is thick one, the Tonkotsu meat is savory, and a good portion of vegetable is also included in it! Can ask for garlic or spice to adjust the taste.Plus, this restaurant is located in plaza. Plenty of parking spaces is available!

Pretty stoked to find one of the best bowls of tonkatsu ramen outside of Little Tokyo! I cant help myself but start this review with a five-star and a strong recommendation. I first became aware of this ramen shop from the AAA Westway magazine, where it had a list of the authors recommended Japanese ramen shops in Southern California. I also noted on Hironiro Craft Ramen website that it was selected for the 2019 Michelin Guide California and ranked #1 in the 2020 Orange County Register top ramen shop.The rich broth and all the ingredients that went inside elevated my ramen bar a notch - easily beat the bowls Ive recently tried in Artesia, Buena Park, Cerritos, and Cypress. I wouldnt hesitate to drive to Santa Fe Springs to introduce this ramen to others to see their initial reactions with the first sip. I have been thinking about this ramen all week and want to return to try their shoyu and vegan ramen bowl soon. The mini salmon bowl and salad add-on/combo complements well, or skip the combo and order extra chasu with extra thick noodles. Thank me later lolThe indoor dining opened up and happy to see a full house of customers enjoying their dine-in experience. I ordered online and the food was ready exactly at the scheduled time. Plenty of parking lots as the restaurant is located in a light industrial zone and not in a traffic-heavy retail space. There is a small convenience fee (5.5%?) when ordering online through their website, or you can download their HiroNori app and get the fee waived along with a 20% discount for your first order.I highly recommend the tonkatsu ramen on your first visit.

Super excited to get a great ramen place in tiny santa fe springs. Ive been to HiroNori in Long Beach so I knew what to expect. Its a simple menu, and every option is great. Im a big fan of the house spicy sauce and the black garlic oil as add ins if youre feeling adventurous. Service here was actually friendlier then Ive had at Irvine or Long Beach, so Im super glad theyve opened up near home. Always 10/10 would recommend.

When my wife told me about this place I was sceptical at best. Boy was I wrong. This place blew me away. The broth, noodles, and the service were all killer. I had dreams about this Ramen the next 2 nights after trying it. Highly recommend the Shoyo and Tonkotsu Ramens. Both are unique, complex in flavor, and exquisite.

Amazing how theres this Ramen shop nearby! It was incredibly delicious. The Tonkotsu Ramen was incredible, but the Pork chashu was so flavorful. The taste of soft pork with the tang of the sauce it was marinated in mixed with the sweet broth in the bowl was mouth watering. Id recommend ordering more Pork Chashu to your plate, you wont regret it!

As some who loves ramen and has tried multiple ramen restaurants, I can say this was one of the worst ramen Ive ever had. In other words, I could not finish my bowl due to the horrible taste of the broth and meat. The broth was watery and lacked good flavor, it mostly tasted burnt, the egg was cold, and the pork tasted burnt. The only pleasant parts of my meal were the room temperature water and the spinach in the ramen (which is not typically used in ramen). I honestly believe a maruchan is tastier than the ramen at this place. Be ready to be dissatisfied if you get ramen here. On top of the bad food and poor service, they added a mandatory tip to our bill which was idiotic. I would never give a tip for such low quality food. McDonalds would deserve it even more.

What a great hidden gem, especially in a area that lacks quality dining establishments. I’ve driven down this stretch of Norwalk BLvd before and never noticed this place and regret not knowing about it sooner!We tried the Tonkotsu ramen with in both the regular and thicker noodle options. The broth was so rich and flavorful. The pork has tender and full of flavor. Had a great char on it too. While both noodle options were great we both preferred the thicker noodle. The thicker noodle had more flavor to it.A little of their house chili sauce and crushed garlic gave it a little kick.The restaurant had a cool design to it. A modern industrial feel. Something you really don’t get in this part of town.Hands down the best ramen shop in the area and to me personally, the place rivals Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata Ramen in Gardena.Would definitely come back here hands down the next time I have a craving for ramen

The 15% service charge (junk fees) is not a tip or a gratuity. The chicken ramen is tasty, a bit harsh on a deep soy taste. The amount is good. Also the spicy tuna appetizers were good.Not sure if I would come often here. Went to a broth shabu shabu restaurant in Buena Park all you can eat including seafood lamb beef chicken and vegetable for $25 each. We spent about that much here for 2 people. Service charge for 2 was about $12.

Came in to get a Shoyu Ramen. I waited to get seated and was told I could get a seat by the window. I waited in my seat. Two other parties were seated. Still no one came to take my order. So I walked up to the counter to order. The same person that told me where to sit asked if I had a pick up order. I told her I was seated and needed to order. I was then told that she could take my order at the table - I said I had been waiting, and now Im here... She still took my order and I am went back to take a seat. My ramen came quickly. It was good. But for a 17% service charge, I expected much better service, especially since that charge cant be negotiated. I would just get take out next time, although I would ask about that service charge before ordering.

First time trying HiroNori this past Saturday night around 7:30 and service was terrible. Very long wait for food and the server there didn’t seem to care. Ramen was great after arriving 40 min after ordering. Waitress even asked the guy next to us if was ready for his check, he replied I haven’t even got my food. They were out of chicken app :( that’s why we went. We got the Pork buns instead they came out cold. Asked for cucumber lemonade and got regular fountain lemonade. Don’t know if we will be back because that’s how bad the service was. Then we asked for extra noodles after we got ramen 15 min passed and I told her to cancel them we’re done eating and ready to go. Her reply well we’ve been busy since 6:00. Well all I ordered was one side of noodles so either she didn’t put the order in or we got stuck behind the 10 tickets we had saw lined up. Lastly I don’t mind the auto service charge they apply to the check which stated on the menu but who wants to pay that after having terrible service? It’s just awkward.

DONT EAT HERE, RAT AND COCKROACH INFESTATION Friends of mine invited me to have lunch at this place,Upon entering I noticed the place was pretty filthy, I normally dont complain because I know places do get busy, But after I saw a couple of cockroaches I had stopped eating and was asked what was wrong I just replied and said I was full,Because I didnt want to ruin their meal. The second time I went there was because my friends insisted upon me going with them so I did and I got food poisoning and decided not to ever go back. Yesterday March 4th 2023 My friends were trying to talk me into going back there and asked me why I didnt want to go back I did not want to tell them bcause they like it but I did. So I have to say that I hate to give them 2 stars bc the food there is a 5. This review only reflects our experience at our last visit with this particular waiter. This is the 2nd time weve eaten here and so we are still newbies when it comes to the ramen scene. When we arrived we were seated promptly. I was trying to recall the teriyaki chicken bowl that I got last time I was there but I couldnt find it on the menu. When our waiter came over to start our order I asked him if they had a teriyaki chicken bowl to which he rolled his eyes and replied no. He said they only have the chicken bowl. I asked if they rotate their menu- thinking that maybe bc we came on a weekend last time that maybe they dont offer the same items during the week- this time he couldnt help but laugh at me. He then clarified that the chicken bowl does come with teriyaki he thinks. He then asked another waitress who came over and said yes it does but if I wanted to i could get the teriyaki on the side. Being that my picky 7 year old was with me I thought that would be a good idea. We ordered our chicken bowl with teriyaki on the side and a shoyu ramen. My daughter also got a tea. Our waters came out first and then our food but still no iced tea. When the food arrived the teriyaki sauce was not on the side but I decided to leave it be and just work with what we got. About 10 minutes into our food we asked about my daughters iced tea. The waiters reply was yea I can get that for you. Instead of remdying the situation right away he still took another 5 minutes to finally bring the tea. At this point she was pretty much done with her food. I understand that the cost of food and staff have gone up significantly post pandemic however when your staff doesnt care about the experience they give your customers bc they know theyre getting a service fee and tip no matter what, then maybe you should step in. The 2 small encounters that we had with one of the female waitresses was pleasant and she was helpful. The male waiter must have thought he was too good to be there bc he could have cared less about our needs or even getting our order correct. If we eat here again I doubt we will dine in.

Best ramen so far Ive tried.It reminds me of the famous ramen place in Okinawa.Tonkotsu ramen has the pork base broth. The broth has a little sticky aftertaste which means its full he collagen. So strong, so tasty, full of aroma, but not salty. It comes with the homemade thicker ramen noodles, but you do have a choice to change to thin noodles.Shoyu ramen is the chicken base broth with soy sauce. The soy sauce brings the soy bean aroma to the soup, not the saltiness. Its the kind of soup you can finish the whole bowl without feeling thirsty.Its worth the drive to go there for a bowl of authentic ramen.

Came here after a particularly hard week, wanted to treat myself to ramen and a beer. When I was about to order i noticed in small letters on the menu that they only take cards, since my wallet was stolen, and I only had cash, I asked the waitress, if they take cash. She said no only cards and apple pay, when I said I didnt have either, only cash. She SCOFFED at me, like I was some peasant. I liked the ramen, but unfortunately the overall experience wasnt enjoyable. My friend arrived at 8:30 and was informed the kitchen would be closing soon, because they close at 8:45. He ordered for both of us. I arrived at about 8:45, by which time the food had been served. Barely 15 minutes later we were being asked to leave.My friend and I work late, so we often eat at restaurants close to their closing time. Normally, before we order, well be informed if its likely we wont be able to finish our meal before the restaurant closes completely. The place was packed but we were seated in less than 15 minutes once others finished up. We checked in via the kiosk.The Shoyu ramen was enough for two to split along with the pork buns and crispy chicken. The chicken was very flavorful but less crispy than expected. Unfortunately they do use plastic cups for beverages.Overall enjoyable, good service. My main complaint is that the place is an ice box. Tonkatsu Ramen is excellent. Great flavor with your choice of thin or larger size noodles. The flavor is perfect. The pork is soooo tender; it kinda just melts in your mouth. I had been wanting to try this place for so long. I like to compare every ramen shop to Daikokuya because I feel their broth is so rich and flavorful. HiroNori is right up there, if not better.
