Went when they first opened many years ago. Remember the bowl being big but not that memorable. Went today because my vegetarian friend likes they have a lot of veggie choices. Had the chicken and pork spring rolls to go at at McNally’s bar. Okay taste but still not blown away that I would come back other than for convenience sake.There is a bar area but I don’t know if people come just for drinks at the bar. Doesn’t seems so.

I like the broth which is flavorful and clear but not salty. You can choose 3 different items. Lots of condiments for the pho. The decor is nice. The place tends to be tranquil and quiet. The staffs are super nice. Would come back again. Happy hour everyday 4-6 pm.

Just ordered takeout here for the first time last night. I got the vegan beef peanut noodles and vegan Thai iced tea and everything was sooo delicious! The noodles were super flavorful and had lots of tasty veggies on top and the Thai iced tea was classic and perfect. I had no problems with ordering or pickup. I was super satisfied and 100% will be coming back to try out some of the other vegan dishes.

Great food, would eat again. We got the bao buns with pork belly and two bowls of pho.Unfortunately we waited a lot longer than expected for the pho to come out. The 3 stars on service reflects the slow kitchen, not the friendly wait staff.

Really amazing vegan options. I loved the vegan chicken bao buns, tofu and jalapeno bowl and the imperial rolls. Ive also had the vegetable pho which is huge and delicious, very fresh tasting.

A decent stop for Vietnamese food in Rockridge, but certainly not at the top of my list. If you travel a few miles out to Lake Merritt, East Oakland, or Chinatown, youll build a list of high quality, authentic pho and vermicelli. The options here are plenty, but the quality of the food is not as rich. The staff lacks the experience and knowledge for simple asks such as cooking bean sprouts (a typical ask at a local pho shop), but the friendliness more than makes up for this.I order the seafood pho and fried shrimp appetizer, my wife gets the chicken vermicelli, and friends often get the beef pho.

I absolutely love this place and their staff! Last night I ordered takeout 15 mins before closing, but shortly after ordering my street was shut down. I called them to let them know and they held the food for an hour! I still wasn’t able to leave my house because of the street blockade and they called me to let me know they would leave it at the next door bar for me. I was so moved by how compassionate and accommodating they were! On top of all that, the vegan pho is BOMB and I crave it regularly!!

The menu has more than expected, definitely something for everyone, including lots of vegan options! The food was delicious. There was only 1 server, 1 busser and 1 bartender for the entire restaurant which created an uneasy service experience. I was empathetic for our server as that was a lot of pressure for one person to serve everyone, however, she was fairly rude about it. Not sure if another server called out last minute or if this is how the business is run but it didnt seem fair to the service staff. Would definitely go back and hope the server is in a better mood and has better support, because the food was worth eating again.

Some of the best pho I’ve had in the Bay Area. Their broth has all the right spices (if not slightly light for my taste) and they offer a generous portion of basil and mint, a rarity in this area. I’m a full-blown meat eater, but also had the opportunity to try their vegan pho; it was actually really good and made from mushrooms I think.
