This is my go to spot in RP for Hunan food. The portion sizes served are good for sharing with two people. Food is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Taste consistency is the same every time food is ordered. The food is so good that it’s after I’m almost through eating I remember I should have taken a picture 😅

The food hits the spot. Its my second time here and the teriyaki chicken and black pepper chicken is super good. Their fried rice is also good. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

This place has been here forever! And the food is always great. Sesame chicken is the star of the show and they make a great orange chicken as well. Family owned and a great spot where you can get a big bang for your buck!

I love this place! Family owned. Great portions, the food is so good!!! It is literally the best place to eat I have had highhh price point Chinese food and it does not compare to this. Love this place. If you want quick and delicious Chinese food at a relatively cheap price, you cannot go wrong with Hunan. Been going here for 20ish years and it is still as good as ever. Staff is always very friendly and helpful and they make great food. Highly recommend. Every time I come back to town I have to come here.

I use to enjoy buying take-out from this place until today, I went and ordered a plate to go like I usually do but I noticed the owner served me the leftover dry hard rice and even scraped the rest and served it to me, when I asked if I could get some new rice they had freshly made before I payed for my food, the owner seemed bothered and said no so I decided to just give it a try but the rice was not pleasant at all when I took it home and ate it. Thats the Last time I go there and after telling my family about it they definitely wont be going back there as well. Apparently, its too much to ask for good food kindly.

No more dine in since COVID, so its quite a long line for ordering food. Line moves quickly, tho. My absolute go-to for cheap Chinese. I noticed that there is no sesame seeds in the sesame chicken any longer, and every time I ask for it served on top of the rice, I am ignored. Extra juice? Ignored. But I LOVE this place and the employees. They are very busy, but always smile.

Its your classic locals only truly know about authentic Asian food. Portions are large, combo selections are interchangeable. And their potstickers are second to none as well as their egg rolls. A huge fan, I only found out about this due to my wife and her inner circle. When Im craving Asian food this is a go-to spot for me!

Too bad this place has gone downhill soo far. Closed on open days, almost always out of their signature dish Sesame Chicken. Get there before 6 if you want any choices otherwise wait in line for quite awhile and slim pickins. I used to LOVE thst place !! 😑😑

Been going here since high school, so over 12 years. Their food is still super yummy, very affordable, and one particular lady still remembers me from when I first started going there - which is no surprise, because she remembers everyone who comes in more than a couple times. I have been eating here since I was in middle school; their orange chicken is always fresh and is the best Ive had. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the wonton soup is perfect for cozy days or if youre under the weather. As long as Hunan Kitchen is open, I will continue to eat there, there is no other chinese restaurant that even comes close. Delicious, affordable and always satisfying.

My fave place of all time. They have th bigger noodles, Yum! Sweet n sour and sesame chicken. Can u say yes please! This place has been there for many decades, since I was a kid. This is the place to get Chinese food in Rohnert Park. its fast, its efficient, and it never tastes like fast food. The people there are always friendly and it is family run so you always see the same face when you go in. The cost is super reasonable and the food is totally worth it :-) If you have not visited Hunan kitchen, youve been missing out.

Stood in line for a bit, as it was rush hour. The food is laid out and ready to be served but fresh food is funneled in almost every minute. Super efficient, fast paced and really great service. Id come back again, even in rush hour. So worth the wait

This is the ugliest Chinese food I have ever eaten, very greasy and with a horrible taste... And apart from that when they gave me my order I only had the food and I had to ask for the fork and napkins and sauces... The only thing Well what they did was that when they gave me the receipt to sign they stopped me because I had my 4 month old baby in my left arm... well this was my experience I thought the food was good because of the good comments they have in your page.
