The restaurant isn’t muck to look at from the outside and the inside is small seats maybe 20. The food is tasty though, the highlight was the butter chicken and butter naan both a 4+ dish. The vegetable biriyani was a 3 along with the tandoori chicken, which was a bit dry. The mango lassi and the rose milk drinks were well received. There is a kids menu. One note is that there is no customer restroom. There is a steady stream of delivery drivers.

Horrible food! The saag paneer was disgusting and looked like someone threw up. The consistency was like baby food and the paneer didn’t have any taste at all. No spices, no salt, no flavour.The goat biriyani tasted and looked like it was cooked with old meat and was very dry. Not a biriyani at all!! Horrible food. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else!

For those who like vegetarian biryani, stay away from this restaurant. I ordered a hyderbadi paneer biryani to go and it was very very bland. I was charged +$1.00 to make it spicy, but yet it was absolutely flavorless. I have tried many restaurants in bay area that offer paneer and vegetarian biryani that are much better. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant for vegetarian or paneer biryani

They gave me potato( aloo) samosa and call it onion samosa. And the person over there swore that it is the same as what they show on their order site. Onion samosa is flat triangle not raised like regular samosa. Haryali chicken is way undercooked and heavily food colored. Chili Corn Manchurian (less spicy) is heavily spiced hot. Don’t waste your money here

Have been a big fan of their other locations in Milpitas and Fremont so had to try here in Mountain View. If you are looking for Authentic biryani with great balance of flavors, this is the place to go. Very easy to order online and pick up, you are greeted by friendly staff and clean location. There are some tables for dine in also. Overall was a good experience.

We really liked the food from this Indian restaurant. Yes the biriyani was not fully up to the taste but it was better than many other places. Otherwise the foods were fine and in good portions. I wish the naans were better and a little thick. Once cold, they were hard to chew which is going to happen for a take home order. Overall it was a place we can go back to again.

We ordered the fish biryani, butter chicken, chicken masala and garlic nan !I come from a family where good food is a must ! The reviews here have 4.5 stars! I think it’s only 3 stars.The butter chicken was good!The chicken masala can be better, a little too watery and maybe add more yogurt.The fish biryani should not be a coating of flour! You should season the fish and add it later to the rice!The separate yogurt gave me the runs !But that was my pre thanksgiving dinner!

We were recommended by a friend of this place and it was surely worth of the try!We tried their Maton Ghee Roasted Biryani and were surprised with their quality which was actually on more simple side but with thoughtful prepared taste.Their mango lassi was great taste with subtle balance of spice and sweetness!!Lastly but not least, the staff was very nice and it was a huge plus for our experience here.

One of the best Biryani destinations in this area.Chilli Chicken is one of the best dishes in a starter. Chicken Biryani liked more and was more like Indian style over Mutton biryani.They have a few tables to dine in.There are sufficient car parking places in the complex.

One of the most awful as in most exceedingly terrible submit to request food. They give you all awful food. I requested Hyderabad mutton dum biryani and mutton pepper fry. I called and got some information about the pepper fry and was informed it was a fry tidbit however gotten total sauce with only 3 solid shapes. The biryani is the most awful things Ive tasted in my life. The rice was crude the pieces were uncooked. No masala, salt or zest. I prescribe individuals not to go to this spot to appreciate appropriate Indian food. Im recording a grievance to food review office for giving old and most exceedingly terrible food to clients. Particularly getting ready food way back time and utilizing Microwave to warm it to convey clients.Couldn’t give 0/5 so had it post 1 star out of no option.

We were travelling the whole day and Hyderabad Dum Biryani was one of the few restaurants that was open on Thanksgiving day. The service was prompt, server extremely polite and helpful. Food was hot and perfect after a long tiring day. We ordered gobi manchurian, butter chicken, garlic naan and a large chicken dum biryani and everything was perfectly cooked. I would recommend dine in even though seating is limited, as food tastes awesome when served fresh and hot.

The samosas were very flavorful - down to a buttery, herby flavor on the crust itself - and we devoured the fish biryani. The servers are very attentive and the food was out far faster than weve seen at other biryani restaurants. Only negative was that it was a bit warm inside, but not unpleasant. Close to be 5 stars for this.Nice little restaurant, the reason for the star deduction was:1. Lack of service (no checking if I needed water or if things were alright)2. For dine in, I was served with paper plates and plastic to-go utensils, when the bread came in it was given only in aluminum foil so it lacked a bit of serving presentation and also, the curry I got was served to me in a to-go plastic container, so it really felt very low quality.3. The table arrangement is funky where it feels only 3 guests can sit but space is misused so people that arrive after feel a bit uncomfortable as they need to ask if it’s ok to share a table.I didn’t subtract more stars because the food was actually good, and their Mango Lassi is the first time I tried one that is good and doesn’t feel like purchased but more like made in house.

The guy at the counter is very accomodating to the customers.We had ordered medium spicy but the food was more spicier than I thought.We bought mutton sukka, chicken 65 and Hyderabadi Mutton dum biryani. I have ordered takeout from here many times, and my order was always perfect.More recently I have dined in with a friend several times, and we have tried various items on the menu. By far the best food to eat alone, on a cardboard box, in an empty living room. I was moving out of my apartment and decided to order Indian food for my last meal. It was a strange experience. I was sad about moving out, but how sad can you really be with Indian food? Every time the sadness felt overwhelming, Id just take a dose of Indian food. I felt like I was in the movie, Inside Out and sadness and happiness kept competing against each other. When I have Indian food by my side I can go up against almost any emotion. Sadness turned out to be a pretty tough competitor. My strategy in the beginning was foolish. I thought that if I just ate really fast, sadness would never be able to attack. While this may have been a good idea in the short term, eventually I was going to run out of food. Then sadness would completely take over and Id have no self defense. So I decided to eat slowly. This way I could take sadness in doses and whenever it felt too strong, Id have some Indian food. Little bit of sadness, then a little bit of happiness. By the time I was done with my Indian food, I had already warmed up to the sad feeling so it wasnt too overbearing. Thank you INdGO for helping me deal with sadness.

The food was good. I think the chefs are great. I had a horrible experience with the person attending orders. I specified that everything needed to be vegan, and the person joked that he had no idea. I was surprised because people had left reviews about the vegan items. There was so much miscommunication that even after I paid the chef came out to say that one of the items was not vegan. As thankful as I am to that person the front person just laughed it off. I asked for the mango lassi and he repeatedly said its never vegan because he is the one that makes it. On top of all of this the guy was hitting on me, asking for my husband and where he was, how old I was, asking for my children and just insisting he needs a wife. I was fearful of my safety since we were alone in the restaurant until more people came in. I know for sure I will not come back, maybe Ill send my husband? Its sad that I have to deal with things like this nowadays. In any case the food was good, a little bit expensive for what you get and definitely very spicy.

Really good goat biryani. They dont overcook the goat, which a lot of the other biryani places in the bay area do. The biryani is also not greasy, and they dont skimp on the meat. I usually think of eating biryani as a (worthy) trade that sacrifices my stomach for a good hour of flavor. But my stomach feels excellent right now, and there was plenty of flavor. Both charges went through, but only one order. So if you want to pay 70 bucks on a 35 meal be my guest. Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, we came to this restaurant, which is famous for its South Indian cuisine. Although most of their customers order takeout, we decided to dine in. We ordered four dishes: Chicken 65 Biryani (spicy), lamb curry, chicken momo, and vegetable chow mein from the kids menu.The Chicken 65 Biryani was generously portioned and flavorful. The lamb curry had a rich and creamy taste compared to other places weve tried. We requested the vegetable chow mein to be non-spicy, but it still had quite a bit of black pepper, and our child found it too spicy to eat. However, we adults enjoyed it and finished the entire dish. The chicken momo was large, but the taste was average, and the accompanying chili sauce didnt complement it well. The food was definitely worth the price.Although the restaurants format leans more towards fast food, the taste is comparable to high-end restaurants. Based on the menu, the person who created it is someone who truly understands the art of fusion cuisine. I highly recommend everyone to come and taste the food, and I wish the restaurant continued success and growth.

While the food at this restaurant is good, I had a disappointing experience with my recent order of Chicken Vindaloo. Despite my usual request for boneless chicken and willingness to pay extra, I received four very small bone-in pieces, including two half chicken wings and two pieces of thigh bone with minimal meat.Additionally, there were no potatoes in the dish, leaving me extremely disappointed. Fantastic food and friendly staff! We had tried using the 20% off coupon displayed on their website but it didn’t work. We called in and they said it was no longer valid but still gave us the 20% off. Food was delicious, amazing naan, and a great selection of dishes. The portions are not massive, but not small either (2 sides of rice, 1 order of naan, 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees fed me and my boyfriend about 1.5 meals each). I am not one to speak on the authenticity, but we will definitely be back!

I have ordered egg fried rice along with another menu. Looks like the chef doesnt know how to make fried rice. He put raw scrambled egg inside the rice and it tasted bad. Ordered two biryanis (hyd paneer and ghee roast mutton). First of all the rice was not even fully cooked, have never experienced something of that level from a restaurant which ‘specialises’ in biryanis. Ordered Hyderabad chicken curry.Its not at all authentic Hyderabadi curry, its more like chicken pieces dipped in tomato gravy. Its definitely eatable but thats about it.The biryanis here are pretty below average too, as if they just cook for namesake.

We did take out several times from Hyderabad Dum Biryani. We mostly ordered either the mutton or chicken 65 dum biriyani. We highly recommend the goat dum biriyani. I must say Im pleasantly surprised! This is undoubtedly one of the best dum biriyanis we have tasted in bay area.We were so happy with their food, we decided to cater an order of a large tray of mutton dum biriyani for a lunch invite. Again HDB didn’t disappoint. The Biryani was really tasty with ample mutton provided. They also provided huge quantity of raita and gravy which we highly appreciate. And our guests really appreciated the food and asked about from where did we cater from. Be sure to look out for more orders in near future :-pIn terms of taste, quantity, and price they are unparalleled in bay area. I would highly recommend either takeout from regular menu or cater (we have only tasted their Biryani though.)

No, it is not Hyderabadi Dum Biryani.It tasted worse than a bland salt less, spice less pulav.We paid extra for a double Masala and what we got is plain rice sprinkled with cooked vegetables. There was literally ZERO Masala in our vegetable biryani.Not in any world this is called a Hyderabadi Dum Biryani.I’d not recommend anyone to eat here.

We ordered --- Chicken Hyderabad Dum Biryani: 2/5, underseasoned, chicken was dry, asked for extra chicken, received extra rice instead.- Chicken 65 appetizer: 2/5, underseasoned, garishly red in color, could only taste chilli, nothing else.- Paneer Tikka Masala: 4/5, it was tasty if a bit greasy. The new store in Mountain View is great. Its mostly a take-out place. We ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, samosas, Paneer Tikka Masala Naan, mango lassi, the food was the best Ive had! Im SO glad that they are in the neighborhood. Our favorite place on el camino closed down at the start of the pandemic and this place is closer and I dare say better, certainly on first order. We have been doing weekly takeout to help local restaurants since Covid hit. This little gem did not show on our queries for Indian food but it should have. Small but varied menu, wonderful food. We were so excited to try out the Hyderabad Dum Biryani place which opened up very close by for us. We got what looked like half a box of chicken dum and kadai paneer for $13 each which were both very average and definitely not worth the money. The garlic naan and roti were good though. Very easy online ordering from their website with fast and efficient pickup. The chicken curry combo was amazing - super tender melt-in-your-mouth chicken and fantastic flavor. I was worried getting the combo option meant I wouldnt get much chicken but there was plenty of it and I was very satisfied with the amount of food. Great taste and good value! Today I decided to try out a new little Indian restaurant and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The place was run by a very nice man, family owned(gotta support the mom and pop type restaurants especially in these tough times). I ordered the Salmon in Coconut Curry which they recommended to me as being a main dish of theirs(I’m not very knowledgeable in Indian food so I figured I ought to ask for directions). It took a little bit of time to get out of the kitchen but the place was over run with customers(which speaks volumes of the food) and was definitely worth the wait being it was delicious. On top of which they even offered me a complimentary Mango Lassi(which, by the way, is a yummy drink that I didn’t know existed until today but must have again) because they were so sorry for it taking so long which I though was very considerate of them. I definitely will be coming back to try their other recommendations. If you are ever in the area give it a taste you won’t regret it. I sure didn’t!

The food is amazing! I was so happy they had vegan options! The vegetable korma and the vegan lssi is a must have for any vegan or non vegan alike! They were super packed today since they’re a new restaurant, therefore they were a bit behind but were doing the best they could to accommodate orders and even took the time to go over what vegan options they had with me! First time here. I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala combo. The sauce was delicious and flavorful. Unfortunately **the chicken was hard and chewy, like rubber** and the portion of Tikka was small and would not feed two people( someone noted in a review enough for two people) unless you want to fill up on naan. I do not plan to return .The combo with rice naan a side, chefs choice, and the main entree $15. The quality of the food, with the exception of the flavorful sauce was sub-par. Darbar in Palo Alto is still my favorite restaurant for Indian food and the prices, for the quality and quantity, are amazing!!

The spicy salmon vindaloo was so good. Ive never had salmon curry before and I loved how the salmon flavor permeates the dish, along with the rich sauce.Unfortunately although I consider myself to have a medium spice tolerance, it was far beyond my limits, so next time Ill have to try something else. Maybe you could add a note that its extra spicy, or maybe my spice tolerance has dropped during the pandemic 😛

Theyre the newest Indian place in Mountain View area and they definitely are one of the best tasting north Indian places. Their samosas are crispy and amazingly tasty and Ive hardly come across a more authentic dates chutney served with the samosas anywhere around here. If you like spicy curry, definitely recommend trying out the Karahi/Kadai paneer. Even the Paneer Tikka Masala was creamy and yummy! Feels like home food. Owners were really nice to us and suggested what to get and added a surprise dessert to top it all. They have a vegan curry option as well which is hard to find. I hate writing undershelming reviews for a new place, which is why Im giving 4 stars to a place which really should be 3. The concept of dhaba style is excellent, we dont have specialists in that food. Service was very prompt as it should be for trucker food (web order, 8 minutes to drive, it was there when I showed up). People seem nice. No seating, carry-away only, keeps cost low. In other places, this might be the best indian in town, but not here. Unfortunately, the competition is very stiff in this area, and the depth of taste was lacking in the gravy. The bread was flat and unappealing. Vindaloo should be very complex, it was simple (try Darbar if you want proper vindaloo complexity at proper spice levels). The dal seemed OK though. With Zareens, Dosa Point, Himalyian Kitchen and strong carry out, these are all places with bolder and larger taste, itll be hard to consider INdGo even for a second try. Again sorry to say, I always root for the new guys!

I saw INdGO featured in a local paper and decided to check it out, and it is outstanding. I ordered Goat Curry (meal), Cumin Rice, Dal Makhni, and Mushroom Makhni. Every dish was spot on delicious and tasted very fresh.Dal Makhni is a from-India friends favorite dish that I never quite got. Very unprofessional service. I ordered a paneer tikka masala, chicken curry (combo options with rice, roti and salad as they advertised in website) and tea through their website. The wait time was 40 mins and I reached the place after 45 mins . They said they havent made chai (tea) yet and that would take 10 more mins. So I ended up cancelling that. Then they gave rest of my order just 2 boxes of curries without rice, roti or salad. When I questioned them, I got different responses from different people in the front desk. One of them said we dont do give combos for dinner. Another said we dont do combo options currently contradicting to what was mentioned in their website. Finally they gave some rice in the side. Food is definitely not worth the price.I strongly suggest the management to give the menu options accurately instead of confusing the customers.I travelled 20 miles to try their food after seeing an article about this place. But totally regret it now and definitely wouldnt return to this place again.
