When my husband and I came in, the entire place was empty. We placed an order and wanted to dine in. After our order was taken, we noticed our tag said to go. We never asked for food to go. The cooks in back kept cussing and being vulgar. I speak Spanish fluently and was uncomfortable sitting waiting for my food. Now the food, the food was horrible.The rice tasted like uncles bens minute rice and the chicken was literally so bone dry and hard, it was inedible. I will not be back. They also charge $15 for a 6 piece roll...joke. go to panda express instead.

Food was really good!! Service was good a well. Ordered kids a noodle dish and wasnt expecting it to be a big plate but overall it was good because i had 3 kids and a baby with me. I ordered myself 2 sushi plates and a California roll for my girls.

The Chicken Teriyaki is always fresh and delicious along with the sides (salad & rice) they skimp on the dressing so I always ask for extra and they never charge extra or give me a hard time.They allow for pre orders which makes it nice to call ahead and just pick up

Every now and then Spicy Thai Chicken from I Love Teriyaki is where it’s at! Call ahead for pickup or eat out on the patio. The chicken has a good spice to it and you can’t beat the price. If ordering to go, order the bowl and not the plate as the sides are not the best after steaming in the box. Try it out!

This place has some of my favorite noodles. They always do an amazing job putting the meals together. Every time I come I get the chicken noodle place mild spice. Never gets old. Its plenty enough to feed 2 and leave full. Always my go to place.

One of my all time favorite places to eat!! This location is NO different!! The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is so filling and the chicken is always cooked to perfection!! They also make their own I❤Teriyaki, teriyaki sauce!!!! A must buy, and a must try!!

I ordered the tempura combo with chicken. The tempura was not tempura batter, tasted horrible and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The supposedly tempura batter was thick and nasty tasting. Not light, airy and crunchy like it should be. I will not be back to this location again.

Food is good. Very consistent. Huge portions. Usually can just eat half or less and save the rest for later. Prices have gone up but like I mentioned, big portions so you get your moneys worth. Always pretty quick with orders. Not much of a wait even when busy.

First time visit. I ordered the lunch special combo of the day (teriyaki chicken and spicy chicken). The teriyaki chicken was decent but a little over-charred (and therefore a bit dry). The service was friendly and good. The spicy chicken (like a spicy orange chicken version) did not have the exterior crunch of being fresh. The cooked cabbage did not have much flavor or texture. The rice was double what I was expecting (or needed). For $14 (incl. tax), I would rather go to Teriyaki Domo where everything is fresh-made in front of you.

Great food, if they get your order right. Soda machine rarely works properly. Either out of ice or, out of service. Counter service needs help. Incompetent or inexperienced young adults could be the reason why. Good luck.

Food was ok. I got a B bento box: sushi was fresh & yummy, salads were sad & soaked with dressing, rice was cooked nicely but unseasoned, chicken was delicious but greasy and cold. The tempura was AWFUL it felt like they just fried anything sitting out lettuce ??, bamboo, cucumber, just random stuff. Environment of the restaurant was trash: loud, blaring music, gross soda machine with stale, flat drinks, random noises coming from employees with cussing and screaming, cheap napkins & dirty tables. Spend your $ somewhere else this place is subpar.

This place is great for a quick bite on a short lunch break. The food options are simple and delicious, the menu is diverse but accessible and intuitive. The cooking staff is fast and dependable. Basically, if you are hungry and in a hurry but not willing to subject yourself to fast food this is probably one of your best options.

I agree the dining experience is not amazing. Some odd behaviors here too such as eating in the kitchen where all the food is . . . I thought that was against health code? But the food is fantastic and sushi is definitely good price for the size of the roll. Tofu noodle plate was a great portion too.Also the plate was broken with chips all around the rim. Its like this place is notorious for its great food but its served out of a hole.

Used to order once or twice a week 4-5 orders every time. Kept getting hassled when asking for additional teriyaki sauce. If eating in, the sauce is essentially unlimited in the squeeze bottles. They wanted to charge $.25 for a little sauce container that would require 2-3 for a single order. Found another place and will no longer be going here!

I called and ordered food for pick up at noon, the girl who answered couldnt tell me how much it would cost and she said it would take about 10-15 minutes. So I drove from work during my lunch to pick up my food, I got there at 12:15 and paid. She almost forgot to add the drink I had ordered. She said it would only be a few minutes and let me know when it was ready. I waited until 12:30 and went up and asked if my food was ready yet because I had to get back to work and eat before lunch ended. She didnt even know who I was or what I ordered so I reminded her of my name. My food had been ready and she didnt even tell me at all until I went up and asked! And she almost forgot to give me a cup to get the drink I had paid for 15 minutes prior! I said thank you and left. I didnt get a sorry for the wait or the confusion on her part. She never smiled one time. The only reason Ill be going back is because the food is good. Customer service sucked!

First off they have a Pass on Condition tag on the window due to hygiene of workers and cleanliness of kitchen. We didnt see that until after we ordered and sat down. Cant honestly critic food cause after that we were very cautious and did not enjoy our meal.

Ive been coming to this place for a couple of years now and it still remains as one of the best inexpensive food spots where you can get moneys worth. I instantly fell in love with the spicy chicken (ball-shaped deep fried chicken) which comes with a side of greens and rice. Portions are decent, and the food is tasty. What more could you want?

Great food and fast service. But a restaurant is only as good as its dining experience, and from standing in line for 20 min for a teriyaki bowl I was able to notice that the chair I was leaning on had such caked on grease that I was able to scrape off the black substance to reveal the brown wood underneath. The walls are covered in grease and the dust that sticks to it. Just dont eat in, the food is great.

The Roseville location is not as good as the Marconi location. Over the phone they did not get my order right. Spent so much money there at one time and they cant even give me extra sauce? So frustrating. Very dissatisfied. I will never go to the one on Douglas. Id give them less stars but they must have mistakenly heard something else.

You cant go wrong with the Chicken Teriyaki here. The side salads included in the plate are refreshing and you get a ton of food for the money. Im not a fan of the potstickers, but I wouldnt have room for them anyway. Call ahead or be willing to wait 10-15 minutes for your food.

This place is SCREAMING TO BE DEEP CLEANED.A whole day of bleach, soap, scrubbers, disinfectants, towels, and hot water, would do this place so well. There was soy sauce all over the walls, the floors were sticky, and not just as if someone had reason I spilled but, more like an accumulation of stuff sticking to the floor over time. The little tray of condiments was so caked-on with oil and dirt I could not take it off of my hand after I grabbed the soy sauce.The only saving grace this place has is the price point considering the taste point of the food. Will not be coming to this 1 again, sticking to the one in Natomas

I always get the chicken noodle plate when I come eat here. So much food for the price, well worth it! You could share that plate with someone. Family loves the sushi as well, they have lots of variety. Only down fall is that the tables are always sticky when i go from the teriyaki sauce amd the music is very strange. But the food is worth it and affordable.

Front cashier service that we delt with today was terrible.I told the girl it was OKAY to charge me extra for changing an item on my plate.. sje sid not charge me, then comes to my table to ask for the difference in cost ( literally $1).She takes a $5 bills and never came back.Then proceeded to tell me it was now an extra $5 charge not $1 like she mentioned when she came to my table.Unbelievable.Food was good, however that did not overcome this sour experience. Ill take the 30 min. drive to the truxel location before coming back here.

My wife gets the Chicken Plate & I get either the Veggie Noodle or Tofu Noodle Bowl. Weve never had a bad meal. I do wish they had Dr. Pepper as I dont care for the selection of soft drinks and always get Poweraide. I love how they have bottles of Teriyaki Sauce on the tables.

I called my order in and asked if they had katsu chicken. I was told yes and ordered a bowl. When I picked up the order they rang up “sesame chicken” so i let them know thats not what i ordered. The asian guy in the back claimed its the same dish with a different name and sesame seeds added. Okay whatever. Got home... nope not even close. Not even the same sauce and it was dry. Why lie??? I would have simply ordered something else.

Awful customer service.I agree with Christine Lowerys review. I had a quite similar experience. Ordered over the phone somewhere around 8:00pm, the lady who works there named Jackie said it will be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived like 20 minutes later and said our food is still not ready.We have to wait for 15 more minutes. She didnt even apologize. When asked why it is not yet ready, Jackie just responds I dont know. Their food is good though.

I used to come here all the time, havent been in over a year. The place is dirty & the cooks dont wear hair nets. The cashier was unbelievably rude when I asked if I could get the shrimp in my roll steamed instead of tempura. She asked me what I meant then said no it only comes fried. Then she was so annoyed that I asked what kind of dressing comes on the salad & if I could get it on the side. She told me no until I said it was to go. Shes also the one that is supposed to bus the tables but the one we sat at was disgustingly sticky & I watched a kid wipe down the table his family was at because there was some kind of liquid on it. We havent even got our food yet, been waiting over 15 mins & people who came in after us have come & gone with their food, and we are already regretting it, because im sure the taste wont be up to par with the price. UPDATE: After 20 mins, we saw the chick wipe her nose with her bare hand, take all the trash out THROUGH THE KITCHEN THEN COME BACK AND OPEN OUR FOOD CONTAINERS! We immediately told her what we saw & asked for a refund. She was reluctant and only after said theres a sink in the back with the trash bins (as if to say she had washed her hands?) But since we saw her take out the trash it also means we saw her not wash her hands.

After going to my favorite sushi place, being unaware theyre closed Sundays I decided to try this place... I have a general distrust of any sushi place where 90% of the sushi is fried... Now that being said, this is a teriyaki spot in a strip mall, how authentic & classy can one really hope to get from a place like this? Yes it could use a thorough and I mean thorough cleaning & general face lift but it is what it is... The food wasnt bad, wasnt exceptional but if you want that level of sushi.... Dont go to a strip mall joint. I and my 7 year old son enjoyed the food.. Best teriyaki sauce Ive ever tasted! Take the place at face value, dont expect perfection... But decent food at large portions ..

I spent $50 buying three of my children meals from I ❤️ Teriyaki on Douglas and Sierra Gardens. I called back to see if they could refund me for the sesame chicken Bento box because the sesame chicken was so overcooked and dry, my daughter couldnt even chew it. They offered me 10% off of my next order, which is ridiculous!!!!! You would think since I spent $50 there, they would at least offer 25% off since one of the three meals I bought was completely inedible. I will never order chicken or anything else from this restaurant again!

I got the Sesame Chicken over noodles and although they give u a lot . I could tell the vegetables were old and the business was so dirty behind the counter and on the floor. Im mad at myself for not turning around and walking out. The pictures on the wall had food on it . Tables were dirty. Flies were flying inside. I love the I Love Teriyaki in Rancho Cordova but this location was horrible.I cant see myself going back.

This place has some good grub if you are looking for something soy sauce based. They have a lot of options as far as food goes. The oils are not organic or non-gmo if thats your thing. Youll enjoy your experience here if youre not as picky.

I like eating there but lately the dish that I always love to eat (Thai Bowl) seems to be overly cooked and burnt every time I go there. I think the new cook does not know how to cook it properly without burning the food to charcoal.

They took our order and we waited half an hour as all the people who ordered after us got their food. Finally went up to the counter and they couldnt even find our ticket with our order on it. They quickly made our order and gave us what seemed like a half hearted apology. The food was good but just because of the service we will not be back there.

In terms of Teriyaki, its middle ground. I miss the many mom and pop shops up in Washington state, so thats my bar. ILT comes close but they really fall down on the cutting of their beef which really alters the enjoyment of the meal.Ill try this place again, chicken or pork, but its not some place Ill ever crave.Edited to add second visit on 9/14Tried chicken and husband had pork. Again extremely bad knife skills. There were large chunks of fat left on the chicken, the individual pieces were multiple bites (there was no way to eat this with chopsticks). The pork tasted more of vinegar than teriyaki and was, frankly, disgusting.All in all, will never go there again. They lack even the basic grasp of knowledge to be allowed to prepare food.

Been coming to this location for years and it is steadily going downhill. Dirty floors, dirty/sticky tables, dirty doors....I cant image that the kitchen is much cleaner. They also recently switched out the Siracha for an off brand less spicy one. Wont be back to this location, unfortunately.
