Inching Bamboo has improved a lot in the last 5 years. This is my 1st visit after 5 or 6 years, and food has improved a lot but still very high price based on the served quantity it should be half of what they charge. Worst is the waiting time to get the food and the water. Family of 8 got to wait for 40 min to get the food and 3 reminders to refill water. Could be due to Thanksgiving but cant be an excuse for a restaurant. Ambiance is dark, and I can see spiders webs right on top of the bulb holder where dishes are served. Overall, below average food at a high price and no motivation to come back often.

First of all I was really surprised by the quantity of food they gave as compared to Fremont one that generally gives less food. So that was the level of happiness for me by choosing it in San Ramon side with the delicious aam panna on side. Along with it we ordered schezewan noodles, vegetable coins which is supposed to be good in taste . The end I got little disappointed with the moong dal halwa which was tasted like a frozen one and not the freshly made . So I wouldn’t recommend desserts there but overall decent and pricey as usual.

Inchins Bamboo Garden at San Ramon serves delicious Indo-Chinese cuisine, which is a great contemporary combination of Indian and Chinese cuisine. We regularly order their cuisine and relish their innovative combinations. We ordered Crispy Chili Potatoes, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Wings of Heaven, Paneer 65, Singapore Rice Noodles and Chicken Thai Yellow Curry. The dishes were fresh, well cooked, tasty, not too spicy and delicious. Would love to order again.

There is variety of Indo-Chinese food options. Food is flavorful and has a nice spice. There are a lot of vegetarian options as well.Service is a hit or miss. Ive been here a few times and its different everytime. I like the Fremont location more, not only because of the customer service but also its more aesthetic.I do like the food so I will visit again but Im not sure about dining in.

The blend of Indian and Chinese flavors in their dishes is truly remarkable. Two dishes that you simply must try are the Lat Mai Paneer and Paneer Makhani. The Lat Mai Paneer was an explosion of flavors with just the right amount of spice. As for the Paneer Makhani, it was a rich and creamy dish that left me craving for more. Apart from the outstanding food, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which helped in making the right choices.

Food: Mediocre at best. Nothing to remember.Service: The server misled us to believe that we don’t have to order anything for the 3 year old and he’ll arrange some non-spicy noodles for the kid. Later not only we got charged for the noodles, but were also forced to pay 21% tip for being a party of 5. I don’t mind paying for good service and positive experience. But not when I’m forced to pay for the deception.

We went after a long time, almost 3 years after our first visit which was horrible. We had pledged never to go back, till recently someone told the food has improved. It definitely has. Had a small glitch initially with the soup which was too salty, but was replaced once reported. The 5 stars are mainly for the main course, which was great in quality and good in quantity. The burnt garlic chili fried rice is a must try, if you like garlic. We also ordered black pepper beef, which was very good too. Overall a great experience.

Amazing place! Amazing service! Very clean and nice place to eat late lunch or early dinner!Food was very tasty and prepared well! Vegetarian Thai basil fried rice was good. It was not too spicy. Veggie chowmein noodles were good too. Veg chili garlic noodles tasted good but could have had less salt though. A couple of items were a bit oily than they needed to be. We dined in a couple of times here before pandemic and liked ambience and service.

Service is really good. Everyone smiles. I went with my family - husband and 2 kids. We are vegetarians so couldn’t bear the non veg smell rest the atmosphere is good and we get to see the road, cars and people while eating which was good. Food is okay. Hakka noodles were really good light and perfect, but for me spring rolls were okay. Kids liked the chocolate spring rolls too. Veg man-chow soup was okay too. I think their fried rice varieties and noodles varieties are really good.

We went to Inchin’s Bamboo Garden on the recommendation of a friend. We got to know that the restaurant is under new ownership/management and it was very well maintained. It’s a great place to go for a night out in San Ramon. The inside is very nicely done, so it has beautiful ambience. The service was really good and the server checked on us multiple times. The food was the best Indo Chinese cuisine I’ve had in a long time:! Also, they have an awesome bar area too. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lots of menu items are added and now its not just place to Indo-Chinese but you will have almost everything from regular North Indian restaurant. Quality and taste is very awesome. Ambience is also very nice and service is also good .. Be ready to show your vaccination card online . They have bar also and looks good . The food had its uniqueness and was tasty if you have taste buds tuned for certain flavors. The portions were small. The service was above average as well.Now why the 1-star rating? They put in a hefty tip what they call as gratuity over above your base price and then expect you to pay a tip on top of it. Normally for a similar quality I would pay 20-25% tip on my own but they charged me ~35%, when I protested they said it is managed by their system.I will never go back to this place.

We recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. We ordered the chilli chicken, pan-fried paneer, crispy chili baby corn, and vegetable hakka noodles.Unfortunately, I found that everything except the Hakka noodles was overly salty, lacking a balance of flavors due to may be excessive use of sauce and spices. The flavors didnt quite hit the mark, and I was disappointed with the overall taste of the dishes.Note: Staff and service is great and so the ambiance.

Seemed like a new location in San Ramon of this chain. I have had hit and miss experience with this chain. This place was empty when we went in for dinner, so we’re bit skeptical. But the food was delicious and service was pretty good as well. For some reason the drinks menu was very short.

The ambience was pretty good and the place was a bit quiet for a Saturday night. We started off with the starters which were the best part of the meal- specially recommend the chilli paneer and baby corn. We ordered the paneer fried rice and curry rice which were spicy. In the end, they also gave us bags to take away as the food was was decent quantity and there were leftovers. The gravy for main course - schezwan tofu was average tasting.

I have always been a fan of Inchin. But time and again their service whether it’s dine in or DoorDash pickup is pretty bad. Managing orders and timely service has always been their biggest weakness. Irrespective of the location, this is something that needs a fix.UPDATED experience after an year and half.Dine in around noon on a Sunday afternoon is super pleasant and peaceful. Corn soups, Chilly Chicken and Schezwan Fried Rice all were super good. Service was quick and a breeze. Miles of improvements over last visit.

Glass and towels were not clean and even the water jar was not clean.May be due to covid, even though we were inside the restaurant and dining in, they need us to place the order online, pay using our card like Delivery/To Go order. We have been here couple of times, the food is very tasty and must go place if you like Indo-chinese food.We ordered veg fried rice, mixed schezuan fried rice (chicken, lamb, shrimp) and gravy chili chicken.Chili chicken was the best, quantity was good enough.There is complimentary white rice with the chili chicken. DONT EAT HERE!!!! We had ordered veg hot and sour soup and there was meat in the soup! After we called the restaurant to talk to some about this, they said there was no meat and that was tofu. I eat meat and I know what tofu looks like. I asked to speak with the manager on duty and the guy on the phone said he was. He kept arguing with us and told us to bring the soup down so he can make a new. I dont know how they hire here but he did left a good taste in my mouth. A really nice place if youre looking for indo-chinese food. Had the chicken manchow soup, schezuan dumplings and the chili garlic noodles. Everything was well cooked and extremely flavourful. We recently started trying Inchin again after moving here about a year ago. We tried a few times in Chicago suburbs but were disappointed every time. Surprisingly last three times weve tried the food here, it has been great!! Level of spiciness and flavors are balanced. Kids had veggie Hakka Noodles. They liked it as well!Would recommend management have something for the kids (e.g. crayons, coloring sheets, etc.). In the hour we spent there, three other families asked for the same thing. Our waitress was really nice and gave her pen for coloring.

Visited this place many times. In Appetizers their Crispy chilli baby corn and lat mai paneer are very good and taste yummy consistently. They changed the menu and added couple of indian curies. They removed Red thai curry from the menu and replaced it with Yellow thai curry which is ok ok. Red Thai curry used to be good. Not sure why they replaced it in the first place. Nice ambience and their mango margarita is must try for people who dont mind their drinks to be on the little sweet side. Cosmopolitan was ok ok. Overall a good place for dine in.

I don’t really give anyone 1 star, even if the food is terrible cuz every food industry have their days. But Yesterday my husband placed Togo order paneer lababdar, they made it with tofu when I called them and complained them they said they will make another one so my husband had to go all the way to pick it up, which they claimed they going to make it new one, all they did was add little panner into that same curry with tofu in it and gave it to us. The taste of curry was horrible. It tasted like frozen curries you can get it from Indian stores. They didn’t even made naans they gave us deep frozen naan. It was horrible experience and I would never go there again.

Couple of points lower in pricing can bring in more traffic. Im a Chinese foody and I think most will like the food. The ambiance is also decent. What a great makeover!! We have been coming to this Inchin for Indo Chinese for almost 5 years now. Initially the service and atmosphere were great but the food was, in my opinion, up to the same level as the rest of the Inchin’s in the Bay Area. Later the service deteriorated a little driven by the challenges of Covid. Today though as we came back here after almost 6 month, everything seemed to work. God menu options, fast service, great taste, awesome quantity. Someone even kept checking in with us constantly. Love it.

The waitress obviously said that it wasnt but anyone who has tasted frozen food before could tell the difference, specially in paneer. I don’t get why sometimes restaurants becomes so arrogant or ill mannered. I know this works other-way as well. But this time it was we who were the victims. Victims of ill mannered and victims of yucky dirty floor beneath the table and chairs. Thank god they change the chair after asking though. When I asked for another table as high chair was not allowed at corner according to one of the representative (the most monstrous one) he said all other tables are booked and they can’t help where the truth was we were there for more than hour and most of the restaurant was still empty (Definitely not sure if ghosts were having dinner without food served 😳). We had an extended family dinner here for a special occasion. Overall experience was bad due to the bait and switch approach of their promotions.They had a gift card promotion which promised a $50 bonus on buying a $200 gift card. I bought the card and made a reservation. On reaching there I was told that the gift card will take time to activate and cannot be used on that day. This, when we had reached for dinner. So there was no way we could find another place without a lot of inconvenience. Nowhere in their promotions do they mention this face of activation taking time etc... So obviously it was the establishment committing a fraud.I sent the franchise a complaint over email and a reminder but they did not care to respond. After a few days I complained to the corporate office and they have also not cared to respond in 2 weeks.Coming to the food, some items were good and some were barely ok. So Id say 3 stars for food, but not really worth the price.DO NOT TRUST THEIR GIFT CARD PROMOTIONS!

Ordered pickup from here for my wifes bday. Food is good but VERY expensive, ordered one rice dish, one noodle dish, some fries for the kids, one fish and one chicken. Came out to around $100. Portions are very small compared to other restaurants of the same type. Wife had to go pick it up since I was working at the time - sorry honey! - and when she got back and put it on the counter I said thats it?. Also my food was not what I ordered, I ordered Crispy Chicken Chili Honey and received what appears to be Sweet and Sour Chicken, although both dishes are similar I dont think what I ordered comes with a red sauce like sweet and sour does. Anyway, food is good but expensive for the portions you get and my order was wrong. Could be three stars but meh didnt really want sweet and sour.

Why did I give 1 star?- Generally I have noticed majority of restaurants charge gratuity of 15% to18% on service to to a table of 6+ or in some restaurants 8+ . Here we were charged 21% for 5 people, yes its written in the menu BUT here is the part that gives them 1 star. We were 4 adults and the 5th person was a 3.5 year old child hence the 5 people. Now isnt that a bit crazy... what do you think?.

Service was horrible. Never cleaned any dishes of the table... had to remove dishes ourselves and place on table or bar. Bevs from bar were out or limited supply. Constantly asking to fill bev orders, brought out dinner to all but one guest, who sat an extra 15 mins for their dish...had to bring to their attention, so they basically ate by themselves. Parties of 6 or more, auto gratuity, I get that but not worth it by any means. Def my 1st/last visit. Would recommend staffing with more waiters...not just one for entire resteraunt. 👎👎

I liked food of Inchins bamboo chain and had been to Sunnyvale inchins bamboo many times, also been to one in Alpharetta GA.Server came to us asking hows everything, after insisting more I gave my honest review about masala lemon soda which I have mentioned below, but after making excuses and not agreeing upon review, I stopped conversion and thought to write a review here.Bad things as below.- Our food was not even hot or even warm.- Was not able to cut fried Paneer into pieces.- Fried rice had not taste.- Cauliflower in Manchurian was not tasty, sauce was OK though.- Over priced (not sure if they have increased price recently)-- starter dry fried Paneer 5 pcs $ 12, which was not even warm-- Lemon Masala Soda $ 5, which we got in same glass as of Water (Totally not worth it, pic attached). I told server that I have been to their other locations and had atleast different or bigger glass than this, she was giving excuses about Glass size vs capacity, i also showed pic from Yelp from someones review, that glass is different and check the size, still she was giving excuses. Where I can see that alcohol and other non alcoholic drink was given in different glass, her response was this is the pic it can be anything. Even after mentioning that this is review on yelp for drink that I have ordered, still she was giving excuses.Gave 2 star as food was some what ok, but it cold have been better, and better customer review appreciation.

Let me start by saying this: The people who work here are THUGS!!!! First, the food was not good at all! Ive had food here before and it used to be amazing! Yesterday, I had 4 guests with me, after food (which was trash) our waitress added 21% of gratuity herself. Ideally its 18% with guest 6 and over and also added charges that we did not even get!!!! Upon confronting, she rudely said it is 21% and you have to pay it! First of all its called gratuity, and you cant force me to do that. Anyway, short on time, I didnt have the time to argue. But, be cautious with them, the food quality and fallen aggressively. If Inder still works there, just ask for his service coz I think he is the only sensible person who works there! Was pretty excited about their menu. But the Indo Chinese lacked the taste. We had Kung pao paneer and had told to keep it medium. But it felt like the chef had just cooked in sauce made of chillies. The Chinese bhel was decent . The one lesser star is for the pricing. The pricing is really high, something like a fine dining, but the food does not justify that pricing. Wont recommend unless you really crave for some of the Indo Chinese dishes.

I tried Inchin’s Bamboo in San Ramon after a long time. I ordered and picked just one item - Navaratna Kurma. I heated up garlic naan from Trader Joe’s on the tava and tossed some onions and jalapeños in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make a spicy salad. Navaratna Kurma is not a dish that is popular and I was a bit nervous ordering it but I was in for a pleasant surprise. The cashew gravy was rich and flavorful. It had a few vegetables, peas, carrot, cauliflower, beans, a couple of fruits, and cashews. The pineapple infused sweetness and freshness to the dish. Overall, the Kurma was very well balanced in taste and flavor. I loved it! The portion size was large enough for 2 people or could be enjoyed in 2 separate meals for a single person. So $19 for it was justified. Service was polite and efficient and the packaging was perfect. Therefore, I am giving this dish and experience a 5 star and hope to try some Chinese and Indian dishes soon!

OH MY!!! The Mandarin Califlower Appetizer was simply amazing. The Wonderful Hostesses made a fantastic selection of one of House Specialties. This Appetizer portion was large enough to share with 2 others but I would not. The Flavor was absolutely unique to me, a little sweet, a little sour, with a slightly crunchy outer shell and sweet tender inside.The entree of a fantastic sauce mixed with pounded perfect bite size pieces of chicken was awesome. Green Pepper Chicken Rice with that FANTASTIC SAUCE made for a great dinner. We do come to restaurant for food and the taste, but with this restaurant that will not be enough ever. Service, attitude of the staff is horrible. You will feel as if they are doing a favor by listening to you. They are not accommodating with any of your request. Not at all pleasant to communicate. Also they don’t allow baby stroller while eating. So you need to take out your baby and sit. They do allow car seat but for toddlers who have surpassed the car seat stage and are sleeping, they will simply ask you to manage without the stroller. That was unpleasant but still we agreed with a smile. I am fine with few rules but that should be communicated properly, not with a scowl. Particularly the gent staff who behaves as if he is highly demotivated with his work. Food served are not announced. You have to guess or ask them specifically about the dish that is served. That is because they just leave the dish and go. For few of the dishes they did mention the names. This has been an inconvenience because we had vegetarians and non vegetarians dishes ordered and few of my frnds didn’t eat non vegetarian dish. Least we expect is wear a smile while serving. Is it too much to ask? Also an important thing to mention is that they do not clean the tables or under table area properly, so there will be remnant of food pieces here and there. It will give you a uncleanliness feeling. Overall the entire food experience was very bad and evening mood was sour particularly because of the behavior of the staff. I will not recommend dining there at all. Give it a miss!

Sometimes after 2 hours of waiting, they cancel the order. And by that time, all other restaurants in the area are closed. Doordash has been kind enough to provide refunds or credits. We went for a dine-in, and the overall experience was not good. Even though the restaurant was empty, the service provided was not good. The table, chairs, glasses, and surroundings were not clean. The staff was ill-mannered and impolite in accommodating genuine requests of changing table because of untidiness and loud noise from a side table. We had two kids in a group of 6, and we were not allowed to accommodate kids’ high-chairs on one side of the table. So, beware of bringing two kids to this restaurant because they won’t let parents sit on one side to feed.Food quality was good, but when you go for a dine-in experience, it is not only the food you want to experience. In the East Bay area doing some work for a client. At the recommendation of the hotel manager, I ordered take out from here. The ginger tomato soup and the American Chop Suey Noodles. By the time I walked over to the restaurant, my order was at the front and waiting. I checked with the gentleman that came forward to greet me as to whether he needed to see ID.
