Amazing food! I will absolutely be eating here again. The michelada con camarones was HUGE and pretty much a meal on its own! It was a very fun experience trying it. The shrimp on it was large and they took the time to clean the shrimp. The price of the food is very reasonable. However I took a star off because the chips and salsa are not good. The location is in a run down building and very warm inside, but they keep it clean and tidy. The service is friendly. The water is not good- very tap water tasting. The pupusas are so good! Better if you eat them fresh. I got some to fo and the heat created moisture in the container warping them a little, not their fault but just a good reminder to eat them there.

Definitely well-made pupusas! Authentic taste and NOT greasy! The ladies working the kitchen definitely seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of orders they had... but overall Ill be returning to get my Salvi-food fix! 😜

Moved here from Hayward and trying to find some pupusas...this place is a mix of Mexican and Salvadoran. Staff was pleasant enough, food was pretty good. We had maps of El Salvador on our table which was cool to look at while waiting for our food. Not sure yet if this will be our go-to yet, but no complaints.

The atmosphere isnt the best, sad it sits in old building across from Allan Witt Park. In this complex theres Little Caesars, a barber shop and a tattoo shop. The businesses here are nice, its the building. And the parking lot that needs to be worked on.They have seats for those who want to dine in, and most people do take out. I was debating dining in or driving to the park to eat. But then the cashier said since I was only getting a burrito, shes assuming its to go . Hmmm, I guess I dont have a choice.Overall, it was a decent experience,

We wanted to try a new place so we chose to try it out. Place wasn’t clean, took over an hour for our food to come, we actually chose to leave because it took so long., Waitress never checked on us to see if we needed anything. Floor was dirty and had to ask them to sweep up the food that was under the table we sat at. Seemed like if you weren’t ordering beer you weren’t gona get any real service at this place. Will never be back.

It took 45 minutes to even get the disgusting worse pupusas and horchata I’ve ever had. I live in a place with at least 4 Salvadoran restaurants not Mexican/Salvadoran. My family are from the country and I’ve been eating them since a baby. So maybe I’m biased, but this place was overpriced and terrible. I’m sorry four dollars for one pupusa is a lot to ask but than for it to be garbage was extremely disappointing. The masa was dry, the pupusa was over cooked and slightly hard, the beans inside were dry. I’ve never had dry Salvadoran beans we make them more looser than the Mexican refried. Anyways to continue on with disappointment. The dry beans were not mixed with cheese it seemed I would get bites of pure cheese all along the outside rim and then closer to the middle would be the beans it was not mixed. Seriously the absolute worse pupusa I’ve ever had. I usually eat 2 could barely finish one. The salsa was bitter, and seasoned weird definitely not authentic, the curtido tasted old and honestly dirty. On the topic of dirty I decided to get an horchata and boy I promise you don’t make that mistake it was seriously one of the worst liquids I’ve ever put in my mouth. It tasted watered down with dirty water, it was not creamy at all, it was super dark which is fine but once again it tasted like literally toilet water. When I threw it down the drain in the morning the color was a disgusting grey color then all the brown powder that made it dark to begin with. I can’t believe what they’re making passes and could be sold I’m surprised people feel any other way maybe they haven’t had better…

I wouldn’t know if the food is any good as I never got my order. I called in an order waited the allotted time to go get it about 35 min. I got there and they had given my food to someone else. No apology just told me that it would be 25 min for a new order. I left and they just lost a customer.

I will never come back to this restaurant. I placed an order during my lunch time and was told it would be ready in 20 min. They took almost my whole lunch hour to prepare my food. When I got back to work, I noticed they had given me a taco ( which I did not order) thinking it was because they took so long. Well... There was mold on the tortilla. I had ordered guacamole and chips and they gave me the chips, but no guacamole. This was my first time coming here and was referred by a friend . I had my Spanish speaking co worker call to explain what had happened and they defended themselves that it could not have happened and they prepare the tortillas themselves. They didnt even offer to make it right. I will never ever eat at this establishment again. Watch out for moldy tortillas.

The tamales were old and the meat was hard. It seem that they were frozen and then they put them in a mircowave. They had a weird smell to them too. I literally paid almost $15 for them. The puposas were alright. I would rather buy them from some lady that sells some at her home. They tasted more original then these. LITERALLY!!! I paid over 40 bucks!! Not worth it.

Absolutely a little hidden Gem. If you like a good home cooked Flavor than you have to try this place. If you look into the kitchen the Mom or owners wife is cooking for you on every order. Its cooked like you are visiting someones house. Very good place.

First of all owner has signs allround the place stating chip n salsa for a dollar. The quality of the pupusas and the food in general have gone down. The last time I went I ordered a chocolate and they brought it to me with milk. I asked that they change it because I only wanted chocolate, they changed it and when I tasted it it was hot water dyed with chocolate, I complained to the waitress and she very sincerely told me that we dont have chocolate anymore, thats why it stayed that way. I returned it and they shamelessly charged me and for not arguing anymore I left it like that. I also got a hair in the food and I complained that they were crazy. I do not recommend that restaurant, due to poor quality, lousy service and carelessness that their hair falls out and that is a lack of hygiene.
