Super super SUPER amazing staff, the lady at the front that helped us was so kind and informative. I’ve been here before and enjoyed the experience, so I brought my boyfriend along with me to give it a try. The sweet older lady at the register was so patient and answered all his questions that he had about the food. Overall this place is kind, friendly, and carries AMAZING food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area (:
I had the BEST vegan kimbap at Jopok Topokki in Hmart Irvine. Elena is so friendly and kind, she curated a delicious all vegan kimbap with love. The kimbap was so good, with tofu marinated perfectly and fresh crunchy vegetables, all in the perfect ratio. The combination of delicious flavors of the filling with the exquisitely made rice was the perfect bite! I highly recommend the vegan kimbap to everyone! It’s a beautiful healthy alternative and so so delicious! Go say hi to Elena and grab a vegan kimbap to satisfy all your cravings!
Came and ate at Jopok Topokki for lunch a few days ago and the food was great! We decided to stop for a quick lunch after shopping. Everything was much better than we expected at first. Nice and clean interior with friendly staff. We ordered Rose tteokboki, Fried Set, Spam Kimbap, and a Taiyaki. Everything was super flavorful and the tteokboki was perfectly spicy and sweet. I would highly recommend the Rose Tteokboki. Its a nice sweet, creamy and spicy rice cake dish. The kimbap is solid as well, and it pairs perfectly dipped in the tokpokki sauce. Fried set was spectacular. My favorite thing was the fried seaweed rolls and this place nailed it. Everything else was nice n crispy too. If youre looking for a quick meal or smthn bigger, Jopok Topokki is a great spot to stop by n grab a bite!
The tofu Gimbap hit the spot perfectly on my lunch break! Not too heavy and so much texture. Everything is made fresh too which I love. Elena is an absolute sweetheart, I plan on getting their food more often.P.s. definitely get their taiyaki

Ddukbboki is so watered down lately. My sister warned me when she was disappointed with the bland version. I gave it a try thinking maybe my sister just had a bad batch that day. Nope, I guess they water down the sauce from now on. Won’t be getting ddukbboki there any more.

Topokki is really good but other foods are just an average. They dont give you free water. Bring your own water bottle.

I went with three friends and the owner was really kind! I didnt order a lot of food, but thanks to the free drinks, I enjoyed it!! I ordered a tteokbokki gimbap combo and shaved ice, but the portion was larger than expected, so it was not enough for three to eat.
The owner was so friendly and the food was so delicious! In particular, this is a famous sundae restaurant. I always went all the way to LA to eat gangster tteokbokki, and I’m so glad I can now eat it in Irvine! Ill come often~

I ended up eating Kimbap because the rice was too dry and not seasoned. I think the gimbap sold at the market tastes better. It was the worst. The oden soup was lukewarm, so I ended up eating this too.

2023-11-10 22:08:51Their gimbap are like if your parents made them for you at home, except with an extra kick from the house-made spicy mayo and kimchi. Not to mention the team is so kind and friendly! I’ll definitely be coming back for my next gimbap fix, and I recommend you do too :)

2023-11-22 20:45:52Tucked away inside the H-mart, and really tasty! Their taiyaki is very good, very sweet while being light and fluffy. Not too spicy for people who arent a fan of that, and generally all around tasty. Cant speak for its authenticity but it was very good. Staff were very nice, and seemed very happy to see us. Please go if you are in the area, you will not regret it.

Korean Sausage and spicy rice cake (Topokki) are my favorite Korean food but I couldnt find anywhere around here that has the good taste and quality I wanted. Now I found a place in Irvine!! I feel so lucky. I usually get Korean Sausage and Topokki but yesterday I tried different menus from there, which were Kimbap, Rose Topokki and a Fish Cake Udon.OMG! My friend and I were amazed. First time trying out Rose Topokki. I loved the vienna sausages with cheese in there that really rich the taste of the Topokki and for some reason the taste was less spicy than others but more rich and creamy.Fish Cake Udon was a kick for us ~ wow~~ you must try this. It doesn’t taste like any other regular udons out there. It is a really good combination with Kimbap and Topokki.Just LOVE LOVE LOVE their food!Sometimes I get a little hesitant when I try new menus but I was so glad I did. Known for the Best place for Korean sausage and Toppokki. I strongly recommend you try these two first then try other menus from Jopok, you’ll be glad you try different menus from there, too.

Super sweet and fast service and the best deal in the food court. Reminds me of Korea and I think is family owned.I really like the tuna kimbap and recommend it! All super fresh.

There was a line to go in because the grand opening event. Will come again next time to try different foods. So packed that day. Ive got confused.
