Was here for an early weekday lunch and the place was empty (it gets super crowded on weekends especially for dinner). The interior is sparse and functional, service was prompt and polite and the food is really good. Good variety of quality appetizer dishes that came free with the main. We had tofu soup, Kalbi and pancake and they were all good. Would definitely return for our Korean food fix. Reasonably priced.

This place looks like a family owned / mom and pop kind of restaurant. It felt so homey and welcoming. The lady who took my order was super nice, and the gentleman who gave me my order looked like her husband was super nice as well.I ordered the galbi, it came with 6 side dishes, pan-fried king fish, and dolsot bob. Everything was so tasty. Portions were huge. I cant wait to come back and bring my family and friends

Seemed to be a popular restaurant, crowded on a Monday night. Unfortunately, i thought the dishes were all very average. The pork neck meat were quite dry and flavorless. The beef were tough. The rice came in individual pot which seemed to be the attraction and it was good.

Ordered the non spicy tofu soup with pork. The soup was light but absolutely delicious and addicting! Good comforting soup to warm you up. Also gave 6 side dishes plus the fish and raw egg which you add to your soup to cook. 10/10 comforting meal!

Recommended by a friend,This place made many great foods, we ordered a kimchi soup & Seafood pancake for 2 of us.The quantity and quality of the side dishes was a big thumb up. There were 1 wholefish for each of us included in the side dishes. The kimchi soup being served in a crockpot so it remained hot all the timeThe pancake was delicious and full topping too.Make reservations beforehand

Very nice family run business serving excellent Korean dishes at reasonable prices for SFO. I came in late night and sqw a bunch of people eating here and happy... they were almost closing but they graciously still served me and even offered refills of their delish side dishes even though I was the last person in there. Sometimes when youre tired and looking for a good place to eat late at night and in a new town, places like this reminds you how good businesses are run. Their bulgogi and spicy octopus was the excellent! Took an order to go also. Will definitely return and recommend when in the San Bruno area! Thanks for a good experience.

There are not much choices when in comes to Korean food in the San Bruno area. Sometimes driving to SF or the South Bay may seem a little far when you just want some piping hot Korean food. The galbi was marinated perfectly and there is enough flavor and char for taste.Seafood pancake was packed and heavy as n.But, you are really here for one particular thing only- Budae jjigae aka Army Stew, that beautiful concoction of ramen, spam, vegetables, spicy chili broth. The owner told me hes been making this for over 30 years! I told him Ive never had better.

1 for doordash and 5 for dine-in. I’ve been to this restaurant many times for the great selection of sides. I ordered delivery once and the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Dine-in offers 7 sides with raw egg if you order tofu soup. The same order comes with 4 sides (all the good sides are missing) and no egg if you order delivery. Not worth it.

What a welcomed return to indoor dining! Met up with a friend and we enjoyed ourselves a small feast at K. grill. My friend wasnt too familiar with Korean cuisine but was up to try anything. I ordered a serving of galbi, a seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and a dolsot bibimbap. Let me just say - some cuisines just dont cut it as to-go and Korean food is one of them. Im so glad that my friend got to experience everything immediately, enjoying the tender, charbroiled galbi to the crackling rice of the dolsot bibimbap. The tteokbokki were delightfully chewing and the sauce was perfect, sweet with just a sneaky spiciness to it! The seafood pancake was also done very well. It was crispy yet tender and featured a good assortment of seafood. All our choices were delicious! To be honest though, Ive just been craving good Korean food for the longest time so I was already in love when the banchan were brought out. Everything from the kimchi to the kingfish were divine. Loved it all!Total for 2 came to $88 before tip, but to be fair, we definitely ordered enough for 3 if not 4 with small appetites. More for both of us as leftovers - cant wait!

The stone pot soup is okay in my opinion. I got the tofu roe. My friend got the beef one, the beef soup taste better.I like most of the side dishes and you can ask to refill. The store owner and the wife are polite and friendly, even with wearing the mask, you can tell they are genuine. Will come back next time to try other dishes.
