2023-10-04 08:27:45No more $1 beers. Now it’s like from 4PM to 8PM $2 beers. My friend did the ordering but comparing from other places, although fish is tender, I have to agree with recent reviews that their sushi is rice heavy, and fish portions on sushi have shrunk. Almost $50 for $3 sushi rolls. I might come back, but I rather just hit another local spot that’s more affordable and have more options besides sushi. Friendly server. It can be tough to find street parking.

2023-05-13 02:43:53This place used to have long and fat sushi rolls. They recently got a new owner and the rolls are now small and thin. The flavor isnt what is used to be either. The prices also went up. I would say its pretty good sushi but it used to be the best in Bellflower. Place is very clean and modern. Service is great.

2023-05-24 17:22:39It’s a Ight local spot. So If you eat rice for breakfast (like myself sometimes )this is not the place for you. It’s not bomb it and it ain’t bad . 1 draft beers!!!,(only 5 per table??)super fast service and decent rolls. Not going to be a go to spot but it was a nice night out.

2021-09-24 07:04:08Id recommend this place. Fresh fish, good presentation with nice staff and nice atmosphere make it a stop to make. The reason for the -1 star is because they do not have any fountain drinks, at all, except for water. So, youll be paying top price for a single can and no refills. I opted just for water. Next, I ordered the mixed tempura appetizer but it came out around 5 minutes after the rolls came to my table and I had to ask for it, maybe it would have been longer. And last, but not really a big deal, I was brought a steak when I did not order it. It wasnt meant for another table, the waiter just thought I ordered it.This location does the main thing very well. Great food, fresh sushi, and even though the menu is limited, good choices.

2022-07-07 19:56:47I was driving down town and i noticed the area. It was cute the buildings were modern streets were clean. First Thing i noticed was Asahi Beer!!So i walk in for a beer and i was greeted by a young face immediately i was seated and grabbed an ice cold asahi.Young lady gave me a menu and i had the dragon roll i believe. The place is a bit small, their is TVs playing sports. The sushie bar is very clean. Everything was decently priced. The Roll was done in about 8 minutes and was very fresh!!8/10 very impressed i have found my new sushie spot!

2022-07-01 17:47:53So far so good! Sushi was delicious and they accommodated my shellfish/crustacean allergy. (I could only eat salmon or tuna). I really enjoyed the edamame spicy garlic. I am glad to say I think I’ve found my new sushi spot.

2023-07-25 17:20:43Kikyo Sushi Sake Bar has been a familiar spot for my family, and we used to visit at least 2-3 times a month. The restaurant offers a large array of dishes and the prices are quite reasonable. Tina, the owner, always greets us warmly and goes the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction, which has contributed to the positive experiences weve had in the past. However, our most recent visit on June 16th was an unfortunate one. Our server that day, Connie, displayed an uncharacteristic level of rudeness that left us feeling disheartened and never wanting to return. Despite being loyal customers, we were treated poorly. The incident occurred when we ordered vegetables for our kids, but instead, a fried tempura dish intended for another table was mistakenly brought to us. Assuming it was the vegetables we had requested, we began eating it. Shortly after, Connie removed the dish and aggressively pointed at my 6-year-old daughter, accusing her of eating someone elses food. This kind of behavior was completely uncalled for and unacceptable, leaving us feeling humiliated and uncomfortable. In response, we expressed our concerns to the two new male servers who were working that evening. To their credit, they were genuinely apologetic and tried to rectify the situation. However, the damage had been done, and the unpleasant encounter with Connie overshadowed the rest of the dining experience. We sincerely hope that the management takes our feedback seriously and addresses the situation appropriately. Unless there are measures taken to rectify this issue, my family and I will be exploring other dining options for our future outings.

2022-02-01 02:04:10Food was good. They only have 1 beer on tap, Sapporo. Nice small place. Very clean. Fresh fish. Complimentary soup.
