Kiroro Sushi in Belmont

I got the deluxe chirashi which was delicious. It was $48. All the fish was so fresh, melts in your mouth, and I can taste the very fresh fish oils in the fish. It made me so happy to eat it. I haven’t had such fresh fish in a long time. I’d like to try the deluxe omakase next time but it’s very expensive like $88. This is probably the best semi-affordable sushi place I’ve tried in a long time. They are new so I hope they don’t raise prices or decrease in quality in the future if they become popular like how many other restaurants have.

Good real authentic qualities sushi you dont often find everywhere. The fish are fresh. I love all the nigiri but not so much the soft shell crab.

Its a slightly elevated strip mall sushi joint with a focus on presentation. None of the flavors stood out, but its inline with any other decent sushi place. They go heavy with the sauces, though. Not a bad choice if you just want some sushi rolls or happen to be nearby. Parking was plentiful and staff were very attentive.

Nice atmosphere and great service. Food comes out individually as its being prepared. Edamame and Gyoza both piping hot when it arrived at our table. BEST Unagi Nigiri Ive had to date....of perhaps 20 Sushi Restaurants. Both Unagi (BBQ Eel) and Sake ( Salmon) nigiri had good portion sizes for the $$. California, Spider, etc rolls can opt for REAL Crab meat instead of imitation, for nominal price. FEW sushi restaurants seem to offer this these days. Perhaps only wish Sapporo could have been colder, and possibly served in a chilled or even iced glass. Looking forward to coming back. 4.8 Stars.

One of the best sushi places in the bay area! They have unique rolls that I have never seen before and every single one was SO DELICIOUS. We kept ordering more because it was so good. Every staff member is super friendly and helpful. We talked to probably half of the staff during our meal, everyone was willing to help out regardless who your waiter was. Prices were also very reasonable. We will certainly be going back again and again!

Great place for sushi in the SFO area - stopped by twice on the way to my flight from the SFO - ideal since it is only 15-20 min from the airport. Loved the simple buzzing ambience and fast service. Vegetarian options like Mango tol and spicy rolls were tasty. Highly recommended !

They have plenty of vegetarian sushi options! Everything we ordered was great and yummy!

One of the best Sushi spots in the area, everything was delicious. Its not a big place, I would recommend a reservation. Plenty of parking. Service was great, every one was attentive.

This is a small Japanese sushi restaurant maybe own by Chinese. We came here because they have a great yelp reviews. To me, their rice did not meet my standard, and they like to use sweet yam for every touch. It really not the type of Japanese restaurant I would like. Oh, forgot to mention, their bathroom and chefs apron were so dirty.

Food is ok. They try to make it fusion on sashimi with sauce on top of it which I dont think is necessary. The super spicy hamachi roll not spicy at all and I think it has too many stuff. It is quite expensive overall and for small restaurant charging 20% tip for 5 and more with no much service at all is not acceptable.
