Delightful food, the sushi is one of the best I had . Miso Soup was fresh and tasty . The grilled mackerel was not what I expected, nevertheless it was good. Tried the appetizer chicken fry, good quantity for the amount and was tasty . Overall a great place to go often . Support local business.

Our son found Koi Sushi on the internet. We tried them and am so glad we did. We have gone to them over a dozen times since. The quality of the sushi is super fresh and delicious!! Prices are very decent, not what I consider overpriced compared to other restaurants serving the same food.

Quality ingredients at very fair prices. We got two specialty rolls and chirashi for under $50, which is pretty hard to find in the bay area. It was all delicious too! Highly recommend the Koi Special Roll.

First time here last night. The place wasn’t crowded although there isn’t much seating. The staff were prompt to serve and check on us throughout our the meal, which I enjoy. I had the tuna stuffed jalapeños with cream cheese as an appetizer. It was delicious. I followed up with the Godzilla and Dragon rolls. Hot sake to to wash it down. The portions were nice and the price was well worth it. I’ll definitely be back. Staff were nice and very friendly

Fresh and generous sushi pieces, good prices, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. They were pretty busy with take out orders and the restaurant was full, but our food came out fast. We enjoyed everything and the fried tofu was yummy.

I always go to this place for sushi take-out. It does not disappoint. I like their salmon. Sometimes, there are bones in it but that does not mean that their sashimi always has bones! The rolls are yummy too. My family and I love this place.

Had been wanting to try a new sushi spot so we came here. We sat at the sushi bar as the dining room was busy and is a bit small. The fish was good and the rolls we had were tasty. The spicy tuna was just hot enough but cooled off before your next bite. Service was pretty good. Overall, it was a decent find and would come back

Sushi is one of my favorite foods and I have tried all the sushi spots near the San Pablo area. This place is hands down the best!!! They deliver and they are so affordable for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!!!

4.5, their sushi is good and they always give me free miso soup with my order but there are a lot of sushi nearby and this one is probably the 3rd best in terms of taste but 1st when it comes to both price and taste.

Pretty good sushi. I ordered online and the order was ready when we arrived. The order estimated time was accurate, taking only 20 minutes. I got the fried oyster appetizer and a few sushi pieces. The oyster appetizer does come with the sauce on the oysters. I recommend asking for the sauce on the side or eating them ASAP! The torched salmon with mayo was my favorite of them. The others I got were hamachi nigiri and torched scallop with mayo. I got their super white tuna or escolar sashimi to try. I wish the pieces were cut a little differently as they were very thick and cube-like. Ill come back in the future to try other items!

Went to San Pablo Casino after leaving we were looking for place to eat Sushi nearby. Luckily found one right across the street. Best place to eat sushi, miso soup, etc. Will definitely be back, prices were reasonable, and friendly customer service.

Wow!!! I took a chance bringing my wife & her twin sister here on Valentine’s Day as they insisted on sushi. This little hole in the wall restaurant did not disappoint us. We were treated to the best meal I’ve had all year. Two thumbs up!!!

Ordered my usual appetizer Tempura on 03.18.23 & it tastes like its been re-fried. Veggies were not fresh broccoli & onion rings mushy, couldnt eat any of it $8.16 in the trash..It was ready faster than it normally is, now I know why..

Very friendly, peofessional, helpful and kind, the staff are amazing. The restaurant itself is very clean and presents well, epically for the part of town its in. I saw a bunch of the staff really working well together and having a good time, it was heart warming to see! Would absolutely come again.

Food was very good!! We took my parents-in-law and even they enjoyed it! The ramen was very flavorful and Ive had their sushi before and it was delicious as well. Best take out experience. Easy to order, we had it delivered via uber eats. It took 30min to make it to us. Each order was individually bagged, all sides were separated. The soup was in a plastic container sealed all the way while the salad was vented with the dressing on the side. The quality of the to go containers are so nice we cleaned them to save for a kids meal so we can pack from home. The sushi was still cold and delicious. The rice was sticky, tempura was crispy, and the salad dressing was a ginger sweet vignette. Will definitely be ordering here again!

Ive ordered take out from here with a friend who lives locally, and it was totally reasonable - both food and price wise.Our most recent visit, however, will be my last. I dont remember the last time I was so violently ill after a meal - 48 hrs later and Im starting to feel normal again.

A small unassuming strip mall sushi joint. Parking spaces also a premium. Prices also seem more like that of supermarket sushi and bento.The joint definitely punches above its weight. The quality of the seafood is fresh and tasty, though it can be a bit over-sauced. The service is professional and pretty fast. Great for repeat visits for lunch.

The only reason Im not giving a lower rating for Koi is because my kids enjoyed their chicken cats. But the sushi and rolls my wife ordered were not very good. In fact, the salmon had a fishy smell and sheen that was disturbing enough that my wife threw it out. My salmon roll was passable, and my California roll was ok. Im hoping that they get better once COVID dies down and business is more regular but in the meantime I wont order from them.

Ive been to Japan countless times in my life. I like the food and the culture. Koi Sushi has successfully been able to bring both to the Bay Area. Ive tried other houses and this is by far the best! I had a Bento Box (recommended for 1st timers) and their geoza (spelling probably wrong.. but it is a fried pork filled dumpling). Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Take out recommended, but with a date, it just might be memorable to dine in.

Bad service, they are very slow and when you ask them about the order, they respond in a bad way, they are rude. I do not recommend this place. In my case, I make Doordash and I have had to wait up to an hour after the estimated delivery.
