KV Noodle in San Jose

Nice place, food is pretty good. Lots of Vietnamese places have pho broths that are way too salty, high in MSG, and overly flavorful. KV Noodles pho broth is lighter, more refreshing, and not too overwhelming in flavor that I get tired of it half way through. They have a veggie option, but I think it still uses animal broth. Service is decent, though they are unable to accommodate any order changes (not the end of the world). Vibe is good, theres actually a small sports bar which is unexpected for a Vietnamese place. Overall great place, open to being back for the food!

Combination Fried Rice was great, I got as an entree. Appetizers were all nice- Chicken Wings were fresh + juicy, Tempura Shrimp were very good, Calamari was also very good. Ill be back soon to taste the Pho.

We had an awesome brunch today. I really like what they did with the menu. Some of our favorites are on there. Other Vietnamese restaurants might not have the crispy noodles or the dry style noodles. There was no wait at 11:30AM on a Sunday. If we were at our usual San Jose noodle restaurants, there would be at least a half an hour wait. We had the combination crispy yellow noodles $14, 2x combination dry yellow noodles (L) $14 each, pho $14, side of beef rib $5, calamari $15 and onion rings $7. Everything tasted great and authentic. The portion sizes were adequate. There are certainly bigger bowls of noodles at other SJ establishments though. The food came out fast as there were only two other parties dining. This was a bonus because we were hungry from that half an hour drive from San Francisco. Great job chef and wait staff.

Don’t have a before picture, but here is the after. Lovely establishment, I always leave satisfied. Treat regulars very nicely. Brought my girlfriend and my family multiple times. Thanks y’all !

The pho broth was clean yet rich, and the staff was super friendly. Tom let us know that the broth has no MSG and made by boiling real bone for countless hours to make the broth. It indeed tasted amazing! The water is also filtered. Owners care about the quality of the food and the service, and you can experience it when you visit KV Noodle 🙂 Will definitely visit again!

Definitely one of the greatest Vietnamese Restaurant in town! Totally enjoyed eating here! They offers many authentic comfort food that are Hearty, Fresh, and absolutely Flavorful!!!Been here twice now. We ordered pho Noodle Soup, Hu Tieu Mi Thap Cam ( dry Noodle Combination) and I also had a chance to try Bun Rieu here which was Awesome! Love the broth! Flavorful and Hearty! Much better then other spots I’ve been to. Love the welcoming and relaxing environment! Pretty Designs and Nice interior inside. Plenty of drinks, smoothies, beers and wines collection. The service was excellent! I really like the owner here! Kathy was bubbly and very friendly! Just like me!!!🤣We were chatting away almost the entire time I was there! I had a Nice time.🥰😍Overall, I already can see myself coming here more often now that I had a chance to get to know Kathy. Looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu!

Long time San Jose native.. this is my new favorite spot for viet food. Had the pho twice.. rich savory without the MSG.. salt and pepper prawns are amazing apps. Been here 3x in 10 days.. full bar too!!! Owner super nice and passionate about her food.. and very clean!! Extra points for having filtered water..

Love KV Noodle! Originally stumbled across this place when all other Vietnamese restaurants were closed by 8pm but I have to say it’s now one of my favorites. 😊The owners are the best and the food is always 💣 They have a fantastic menu: love that they have all types of noodles dishes, all customizable, all very fresh, at very reasonable prices, and accessible hours!Definitely get their chow fun!

Hidden gem. The food was delicious, service was amazing. Kathy was so nice and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated for being thereAgain, the food was so good. Did I mention, the food? A must try. Dont sleep on this place.

Delicious pho and bun rieu. The broth was so clean and satisfying. The service is fast and friendly. They are hidden in a little plaza, so it’s definitely a hidden gem. Will definitely be coming back!
