Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
940 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA 95123, United States
I normally do not gravitate to chain restaurants. However, I was given a gift card to Olive Garden. I went to the Olive Garden in San Jose at Westgate. The service was excellent. The food (soup - Zuppa Toscana - and salad) was fresh and tasty. Dressing was surprisingly good. Bread sticks were warm with just the right amount of butter to garlic spread.Overall a great experience. The only issue I had was the lack of COVID-19 protocols at the door. Some people had masks and some didnt. The staff didnt inquire or question why they didnt have masks on. That made me uncomfortable.

KV Noodle

Just moved to new job and asked my coworker for recommendation for Pho Ga. They said try Pho 90 degree or the new place down the street called KV NOODLE. I went to KV. Called ahead to see if the had what i wanted the kid that answered the phone was very polite and courteous. drove into the plaza and though i was in the wrong place, no other business OPEN. The young man greeted me and said i could sit any where I wanted. As I was ready the menu the owner Kathy greeted me and asked what I wanted and what KV had to offer. I was immediately hook in by here attitude and here customer FIRST.I order the Pho Chicken with white meat and spring rolls. the rolls were fresh and out of this world, by far the best spring rolls Ive had in a long time. Peanut sauce was to die for. The pho was rich in flavor. the broth was very tasty. While I was eating I got to know a little about Kathy on how she gives back to our community. We had some good conversations while I experienced her great attitude regarding the area .After I was done with the entire bowl, and I do mean the entire bowl of soup and rolls. You all need to come by and let Kathy know Daniel sent you. Im definitely coming back to try something else. I would 6 stars 1 for Kathy for making me fill like I was home. Oh thats how good it was no picture of before. Thank you KV NOODLES.

Friendly service, clean, and good selection. Ive been to this casual restaurant and while you should definitely check your to go order before leaving, the food is consistently good and served at a good temperature. Ive had my to go order wrong a few times, but theyve always been sincere about making it right. If youve never been to Panera before, they serve a variety of mostly soup, salad, sandwiches, and pastries with coffee, mochas, sodas, and some surprisingly good iced teas. Predictably, sandwiches and panini tend to feature the bread rather than the meat, which is responsible for the -1 star. If you are looking for a sandwich stuffed with lots of meat, Togos, Eriks, or Dons Deli all have better proportions, but the variety at Panera, not to mention their Broccoli cheddar soup and Mac and cheese keep me coming back. Yes, their Mac and Cheese is worthy of adult consideration, especially on a cold day.

The steak number 50 was wonderful it came with rice, a simple salad and soup. Everyone there was extremely friendly I felt like I was at home. The steak was bigger then any restaurant Ive ever seen. And everything was memerble, wonderful and tasty. Even my uncle who was watching me enjoyed it.
RAMEN OSAKA
4035 Evergreen Village Square #40, San Jose, CA 95135, United States
The ramen is decent but they have crossed out some items on the menu. Hand pulled noodles, spinach noodles, and kakuni are no longer options.Although the ramen broth flavor is fine, we were disappointed that they didn’t offer chicken karage. We got the popcorn chicken, fried oysters and fried tofu. We would not get appetizers again. The batter was not great, the popcorn chicken pieces were teeny and the pepper powder was so powdery, it doesn’t stick to your food. It’s like snorting dry chili powder as you are eating it. It goes down the wrong pipe. Then when we tried to eat ramen under their tents, we had a hard time drinking soup broth with the teeny cheap plastic spoons. It wasn’t even standard size plastic spoons. Would be nice if they gave plastic ladle spoons. All in all, it was not a good dining experience. As much as we like to support neighborhood restaurants, it was a fail.Even the ramen place at oak ridge mall is better... and that place is just okay.
Panera Bread
2199 Monterey Hwy #80, San Jose, CA 95125, United States
If you want the best tasting frenchbread in the Peninsula . .Id even go the stretch to say the whole Bay Area, at least, in my opinion, and, Im a quarter Italian - having an appreciation for that, delicious, down-to-earth, good old-fashion tasting sour-dough french bread, I would pick Panera Bread. If some of you are not familiar, well, you can find them (the restaurants), just about everywhere. And I would rate them as just aboutthe friendliest chain as well. If I was going to select an eating place, as a mainstay of patrionizing, I would pick Panera.Reasons? They have a fairly varied food selection, to start with. If you started with say, a breakfast apetizer, they have a rather large choice of pastries. They even have their . . par excellance . . 11 x 11 box of assorted cherry and cream cheese pastries, which, I swear, just to look at, starts up those salivary glands, frightfully fast. You look at it and say, gee, I bet the office would love to dig into a nice box of pastries for the morning, eveyone is so busy, and on the run, I bet they would just love to grab a quick morsal of nourishing enjoyment, that would have to put a smile on just any - down-in-the dumpsters attitude, no matter how bad their day was going. And, you dont want to ponder this fortoo long, because the whole territorial mindset just might settle in, and you start thinking, gee (again), I could easily polish off one of these boxes just by myself. I mean, they really lookjust down right deluctable. The price? Just $11.99.The restarant, you could say, reallyspecializes in lunches for the afternoon crowd - though theyre open till 9 pm., and, theres a nice selection of hot soups - such as, basal, cream tomato, and, the broccoli/chedder - always been a favorite of mine. And, accompanied with a nice tall cup of strawberry-lemonade. Sound tatalizing? Trust me, it is! I just recently bought the bowl (and was big too), for just $7½ (with my dollar off as a member). It came with choice of chips, or bread. And, if youve never tried their broccoli/chedder . . I swear . . its to die for!Incidentaly, I mentioned earlier, abouthot. Now, seriously though, where can you find a restaurant that will serve you a piping hot bowl of soup?I remember back when I was a toddler . .hey! it wasnt that long ago!My aunt - whenever I asked her if she likes her coffee hot! Would, without exception, would sit there on her chair giving me a look, as if to say, now, what kind of question is that? And then staunchly exclaim, I like my coffee . . scaaaalding hot! Well, at Panera, you can actually make that happen, because every Panera has a microwave. How bout that!Panera, is generally always very clean, as well as their restroom, but, they do have a high turnover, so, dont be too hard on them, they actually do moniter things pretty closely.Seating is no problem, they havelots of cushiony booths, and, tables, and, in fact, the Panera at the corner of El Monte & El Camino, have a rather large outdoor pateo, with eating that is very nicely spaced apart, for those of you that might have a bit more of a secluded bent in mine.If you go to the Plant, (at the corner of Tully, and Monterey Rd.), there will be a Panera right there. The Plant, has a number of places to visit - Target, Home Depot, Best Buy, T-Mobil, Chase Bank, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Krespie Kreames, Ross, Apple Bees, Famous Daves, and, more.Oh! Dont let me forget, but, if yousign up as a Panera member, rewards in food items will come your way. Ive been a member for years, and on one occasion, my reward was afree bagel, every day, for a month . . not bad, huh! Annnd, if you sign up online, you can have a free coffee every day. Now, where are you going to get a better deal than that??Panera is more specifically at:2199 Monterey Rd. The cross street, is Tully/Curtner. As I mentioned earlier, Panera is part of The Plant.
