2023-10-01 22:15:41Food is delicious. It’s a hole in the wall kind of place. We got popcorn chicken, pork xiaolongbao, and chicken fried rice. It was delicious! My daughter says “it’s like Din Tai Fung.” We got seated right away and food came out in a timely manner. We also got the Dan Dan noodles to go. We will definitely come back and bring the rest of my family.

2023-07-09 00:00:22I highly recommend the Dan Dan noodles. Holy cow the sauce its amazingly rich and the noodles are fresh made from what they said. The steamed dumplings are equally as good. Your orders are made to order but it comes out steaming hot.

2023-05-07 18:56:23This place was so freakin’ good and hit the spot! It’s authentic and feels like it’s homemade. We ordered spicy shrimp wontons, Dan Dan noodles, beef rolls and XLB. Super filling and the two of us ate everything clean.

2023-03-02 03:01:05Surprisingly tasty and authentic. It is tucked away in the corner so we were not sure of its quality but it was great! It is hard to find good juicy pork dumplings and we had it in our backyard in Claremont the whole time! Each dish was good and not one was a letdown. Will definitely recommend to my friends and neighbors in Claremont!

2022-12-23 03:51:17Really authentic and delicious Chinese food! All the classics and all made from scratch: dumplings that taste like my grandmother made them, fried scallion pancakes and a REALLY solid wonton recipe with a hint of Szechuan peppercorn! Its a small shop, and because they make everything fresh, expect itll take a few minutes - but it all comes out at once!

2022-10-24 17:35:20We were excited to find a new Chinese restaurant opening in this area! We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, below are my personal opinions:- beef noodle soup: the most disappointing dish, considering theyre a noodle restaurant. The beef was ok, but the soup base is not very flavorful or has any body- shrimp fried rice: not bad, very generous portion for its price too- popcorn chicken: my favorite out of the bunch, the chicken is fried well so it stays juicy and not tough. Its also not super salty like some other places- pan fried dumplings: not very special, doesnt have much flavor- spicy wontons: the skins on these are so thick that theyre really more dumplings than wontons. The spicy sauce also doesnt taste very specialWe chose to skip the xiaolongbao because we took it to go and it wouldve probably died before we got to eat them.Overall a disappointing meal. I know theyre still quite new so hopefully they find their footing soon. I would eat the popcorn chicken again but would skip the rest.

2022-11-02 16:19:28Dine in is now open. This is a place which they made their own noodle! I ordered the dan dan noodles. I was a little bit salty for my taste but the noodle and peanut blends together really well. My daughter ordered the beef noodle, the broth is clean and dont have all the MSG Ive had at other restaurants. My son ordered the wonton noodles. We all like the popcorn chickens, very generous portion, I wish they have a spicy option though. I think the best dish is their Xialongbao (Dine in for best experience)

2023-01-16 15:20:12I am so glad that I checked Yelp again to look for some beef noodle soup and Xiao Long Bao. This place just opened for 3 months, and wow is the food good. It isnt that big of a place maybe 6 tables at most, usually the tables can fit at least 4. I found out from the person who took our order that this place the chef is from Shandong, so their specialty would be anything in the noodles, bread that they make. Am just so stoked that a place like this exists in Claremont! They do have a working Apple Pay (they found out together with me), and a high chair in case you do have small children!FoodOur first time here we were able to try the following:Beef Noodle Soup- The Noodle is amazing, and the broth and beef is just as great. It is a more clear broth and my kids loved it.Dan Dan Noodle- This was my first time trying this sort of Dan Dan Noodle, that was more soup based. It has a bit of spice but not too hot, but was great with the peanuts and grounded meatXiao Long Bao - FINALLY a place that makes this Quite Legit with soup inside of them. Cant wait to try other flavorsSesame Bun- the bread was “pillowy” wasn’t too sweet, was great !Cant wait to try their Beef Roll Wrap, Hot Oil Wontons, and other dishes. Will definitely be visiting quite often!

2022-10-27 00:56:30I stumbled on this place after some Happy Hour plans fell through. I hadn’t eaten all day so their simple but varied menu piqued my interest. I called in my order of cucumber salad, beef roll, spicy wonton, and pumpkin pancake before heading over. The restaurant is located in an easy-to-find plaza with ample parking. They’re definitely new as a gentleman was hanging their storefront sign when I arrived. He greeted me as I made my way to the restaurant and I was also greeted right away when I entered. My food was ready and definitely freshly cooked as I snuck a bite of the pumpkin pancake once I got into my car. I was expecting it to be like the scallion pancake - a flakey dough with perhaps some pumpkin mixed through - but it was actually more like chewy, mildly sweet breaded pumpkin mochi. It was so. Good! I just finished eating dinner and my mouth is watering just thinking of those first bites.I drove home and sampled the rest of the dishes. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing as one would expect. The beef roll was smaller than other places and appeared to be deep fried versus the usual pan-fry but it wasn’t greasy at all. The spicy wontons were also solid though light on the sauce and hardly spicy. With that said, I wouldn’t hesitate ordering said dishes again.I moved to the area from the San Gabriel Valley and have been missing the top notch Asian food there. I typically still make my way to the 626 every other week or to get my fix but this place would definitely hold their ground against the best Taiwanese places in SGV! Plus so much more friendly, lol. I’m looking forward to trying more from their menu!

2023-03-07 04:07:38Great experience here! Wonderful foods. Nice sampling of dumplings and soup. Not exhaustive, but what they do have is great! I love the scallion pancakes and beef rolls, my husband loved the pan fried pork dumplings. The wonton soup also a must-order!No photos… The food was just gone before we even thought about it.
