Good Korean restaurant reasonable price
Delicious Korean food. Boxed our order into individual takeout boxes and put them all neatly into a box. Got 3 dishes (2 bimbimbap and 1 combo of galbi ribs and mushroom tofu soup.) Came with side dishes. Kimchi was sooo good, just wish there was more. Fed 4 well for $70. Can’t wait to come again.

Not really authentic Korean food by any means but it does the job if you’re craving soup.
A revisit after many years of a different location period the b b m bop was great.
No ambiance. Small mom and pop restaurant. Things are old and kinda dirty looking. Definitely not a spot for a first date. Prices are reasonable. Servers are Chinese and didn’t see a lot of Korean customers.
The service and food here is great! Come here for the Lunch box specials and the tofu soup. There is plenty of parking here. Fall is coming around so it is the perfect time to grab some soup. I would suggest getting the dumplings to pair and share with your food.

I never knew how much this place rocked! After going to other Korean BBQ spots in Alhambra area I must admit this place is great. Great food, service, and decent prices. Lees Tofu has moved across the street to Prado Center. It had been a staple in Monterey Parks Atlantic Square for a long time. It is authentic Korean; not fusion Chinese or Japanese. The hot tofu soups are amazing and come in their own hot plates along with hot steamed white rice and about 8 mini dishes (fried fish, kimchee, pickled cucumbers, et.al.) A small salad is also included. (They have other dishes besides tofu, if you were wondering.) Flavors for the tofu soups range from chicken, vegetable, beef, seafood, etc. Come hungry and leave satisfied. I certainly still am a fan.
I love this restaurant so much. They treat us so well and memorize how we like our side dishes. We’ve been coming here for almost a decade and we’ve NEVER been disappointed. Please never close or move away ❣️❣️❣️
The waiters were Japanese. I thought they were Koreans but no. The chefs in the kitchen were mostly Hispanic. not sure how they managed to make such good Korean foods. The outlet close to the door was broken. The outlet close to the kitchen were loose. It was hard to charge my Google Nexus phone and tablet at the loose outlets.
Best Korean Food in Monterey Park. Many dishes are comparable to what you will get in Korea Town. Service is also really good I would highly recommend this place.
Nice servers. Even the owner is willing to help out. There was one time my sister didnt think her soup was done correctly, they actually replaced it with another soup for free.
I try going here every couple of months. Ever since the change of management. I have noticed the food seems fresher

The place appears to be a family-run, and Im loathed to be overly critical of such establishments. Lees offers mainstream Korean fare at Korea town prices. Theres your soontofu combo this, bibimbap that. Except for the fried corvinas (fried yellow fish), their sides are not worth commenting. Lees is good enough for these parts but would never fly in K-town.
Lots of seating and friendly staff here. I tried their beef tofu and it tasted pretty good, probably not the best Ive ever had, but would definitely recommend you try out this place.
Many types of soonduboo to chose from. their bulgogui is also good. I have tried many dishes there and they were all delicious.

My favorite is the mild mushroom and tofu pot. I add an egg (they give you a raw one as part of the meal) and the rice!

2023-02-10 04:35:55Solid spot for tofu soup. Simple, no frills interior. I got the oyster tofu soup. It was really good. The banchan is ok. Also liked the bulgogi. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.

2019-06-15 21:55:16Love it.....just perfectly served. I usually drive over to ktown for my spicy pork. But this place is a soild 5 stars. The spicy pork box is a must. I really like all the flavors of the kimchee served with it. $12 when you eat it Tues -Fri. The kimchee beef soup is hardy and delicious too. Love how its served with raw egg on the side. They ask you if you want your egg cracked in soups for you. I love coming here for lunch. If you call ahead. They will have a table waitng for you and half is served. Then when you walk in they bring you the hot plate. They time it just right. Awesome service for an hour lunch. And great everyday service as well. A must.

2022-10-20 04:31:11First time here. Had the BBQ ribs + tofu soup & rice combo. Chose the seafood tofu soup and it was very tasty. Portions were decent. They had about 5 side dishes which included a small fish and was good. Service was very good considering it was just 1 lady serving. She was attentive, pleasant, and efficient. I would come bk.
