2023-10-09 16:10:38We found this place unexpectedly after the San Dimas Beer and Wine Walk last weekend.🍣 Osaka Sushi🍣 Hero Albacore Roll🍣 Giant Roll (w/o the spicy mayo)It was such a pleasant surprise. Everything we got was delicious specially the nigiri pieces (I stole he unagi and the shrimp from my bf lol). The Osaka Sushi set came with: Yellowfin tuna, salmon, black snapper, yellowtail, tamago, shrimp, seared albacore, halibut, unagi, squid, and kanpyo maki.Haha in the first picture I already ate half of the hero albacore roll since it came before the other two. I think the hero albacore would taste better if it has some citrus sauce but it was still good tbh.The giant roll was sooo damn good the way I ordered it. It has salmon, spicy tuna, and scallop. This is my favorite of the two rolls we had.

2023-12-02 02:28:39I am ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED IN MYSELF for not trying this place any sooner LOL FINALLY A DELICIOUS AND BOMB Japanese restaurant and sushi place that’s close by to home. It’s really hard to find good places like this and so glad they started advertising on instagram. Everyone is super friendly, atmosphere is perfect and don’t think there’s anything wrong or bad about this place. We ordered to go only bc it’s been a long tiring week and wanted good food to take home and damn this place did not disappoint! I recommend anyone to come here and OH the portion sizes, my inner fatty is happpy 🤣

2023-10-09 04:20:10Little Tokyo has and hasn’t changed a lot over the years. My family and I have been coming to this location for roughly 20 years, and it still is without a doubt, our favorite Japanese restaurant in Southern California. As of October 2023, they have changed their menu once again. It’s arguable whether the older or newer menu is better. The old one came with more for the same price, but the new one is more customizable to your liking. But despite everything, their quality has not dropped, and that’s what’s most important. Also, if you’re not a big sushi fan, we highly recommend what used to be called the Red Rock but is now called Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna under “Special Sashimi.” Absolute game changer and incredibly delicious. Everything I’m talking about is in the attached photo. See you there!

2022-09-02 05:44:23Amazing sashimi! My parents used to go here religiously 20+ years ago and I finally got around to visiting. It lived up to the hype they have been giving it!The quality of the fish was AMAZING. Definitely the best tuna sashimi I have ever had.The free miso soup, edamame, and dessert orange slices were a welcome little addition to the whole experience. We sat at the bar and had a great time talking with our chef. He catered to us so quickly and was so friendly. We even were served two chef’s creations on the house: a salmon sashimi topped with a jalapeño sauce and a baked salmon topped with clovers. Both were very good!I actually was very pleased to see the check too. We ordered a cut roll, a fresh roll, a hand roll, and a sashimi appetizer. For all we got, it was just over $50, which is not bad at all for 2 people at sushi. My only regret is not getting a sake shot for my chef or even a beer to cheers him with and for that reason I will certainly have to go back! :)

2023-11-19 00:31:05Have been coming here for years, solid consistent quality fish. Now under new management and everything has changed .. they’re trying too hard to become the next hype restaurant.. i would spend at least 130$ every time just on sashimi / nigiri and the options are different and the chefs aren’t willing to make the rolls that I specifically came here for .. I’ll be looking for a new restaurant moving forward. Good luck
