This is probably some of the best sushi that Ive had in the area. The sushi is always fresh, and Ive never had fish that seems like its old. I always get the sashimi personally, although I have also had the tempura which is equally as good. Its breaded nicely and its not overly greasy or anything. The rice is basic but a classic. Its never been poorly done for me, so Im happy with that. They also bring you free edamame. As for drinks, their tea is amazing. The glass that they serve it in keeps it really warm without burning your hands, so props to them for that. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They come over quickly, refill the edamame, and refill teas. The food always comes out fairly quickly. The interior is pretty nice. Its you run of the mill sushi restaurant decorations, but its not like it looks run down at all. This is probably one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the area. I really enjoy the food and I come here quite frequently. I would highly recommend.UPDATE: They no longer offer edamame for free and the outdoor seating isn't the best at all. If it keeps going downhill I'll have to change my rating :/

Updated Review on my 4th visit. Moving from 5 star to 3 star. The food quality has gone down, bulgogi was burnt. Timing of food coming to the table was horrible. My wifes sashimi didnt arrive until everyone had finished their food and she never received her miso soup. My sushi rolls, ordered as an appetizer, came well after the entree. The restaurant was well staffed and although it was a Saturday night, it wasnt too busy. I watched as manager(s), servers, and sushi chef were casually talking with each other while food orders waited to be expedited to tables.Disappointed as this had become my favorite Japanese place. Ill wait at least a month or two to try one last time as our first two visits were wonderful. Again this is our fourth visit in total. My 3rd visit in early June was just okay.I want this place to be good! Fingers crossed ?Original review from May 2022:Great new place for Japanese cuisine in San Dimas. The food was fresh and very tasty, even my 3 year old loved it! We had teriyaki beef and salmon, and beef bulgogi along with a crunch roll. We will definitely be back, and were bringing family and friends!Awesome service too!

In this nice neighborhood mall in San Dimas Hills this is the only Japanese restaurant. The bento sets on the menu are good value. I suggest ordering the cooked food or the rolls rather than the sushi or sashimi. Service was very nice. There is plenty of parking on the shopping mall lot.

This is the best Japanese food around. The bento boxes can’t be beat. The owner is very friendly and professional. The best prices. I totally recommend this restaurant.!

Stellar personnel and service, offerings/variety/depth, and feel.Firstly, I am a complete amateur. The extent of my knowledge is ordering a drink here and there if/when I go to a restaurant but, now I have near adult kids and this mama needs to take the edge off with an at home-made mojito or margarita.I created an account online and put a cart together since they offer pickup or delivery, but, I also had instacart credit and decided to order through instacart, which is so helpful when it's last minute, but I did realize instacart didn't offer everything I had in cart directly from total wine, not sure why not, but either way, I ordered humungous bottles that, even if ambitious, I wouldn't be able to finish in a year's time. So, I opened the receipt from instacart and ventured in store and immediately, I was greeted by Portia (forgive me if I misspelled your name). A ?gem in every way. She is so warm and welcoming. I wasn't feeling too well, on the mend from a terrible cold, but, she made me feel like a million bucks and helped me locate the original items I was interested in, from my cart. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I never felt rushed, and as I think about it- she was completely attentive and listened to me to understand what went wrong with my initial order through instacart and she assuaged it, immediately. She took my return to the customer service desk and allowed me to look around after she helped me locate a number of items.Truly, a wonderful experience. I felt valued and relieved that I didn't have to go through a world of explanation. She saw me through from start to finish. As for this store/ chain; above and beyond some of its competition. The store itself feels nice to be in. It gives a rich feeling v BevMo where I'm like eh- ??♀️It's clean, lit well, has such an amazing variety. For an amateur I'm in awe- I think for someone well versed they would feel great knowing just about anything they need for a cocktail is there. From juices to purées, to spirits, wines, beers, sodas and specialty sodas, too. Snacks, accessories, drink-ware- really impressive store. Some of the bottles are just so beautiful that I wanted to buy them on looks alone. ??Above all of the tangible items- the people who work in the store are wildly kind and helpful.I love the ability to shop online, but I do encourage people to make the trip in store to get an idea of what it has to offer; this store is really beautiful. The one in Rancho is also very nice but the parking lot is chaotic? Many thanks, I'll be back :)
Baby Bros Pizza & Wings
Foothill Village, 125 Village Ct, San Dimas, CA 91773, United States
Went there last night at about 8:45p.m. for a pre-Fathers Day outing. We ordered a pastrami pizza, pepperoni pizza (with bell peppers, mushrooms and red onions), loaded potatoes, and a Greek salad. We also ordered 2 mojitos and wings (6 spicy).Overall the food was good. Drink presentation was amazing, but were made with an alternative to rum, since they do not have hard liquor yet. It was a little off, but tasty. If you like sweet drinks, then it is for you.My daughter really liked her pepperoni pizza. The pastrami pizza was okay (our fault, since we did not know it had marinara sauce AND the mustard) Next time I will order without the marinara. The loaded potatoes were okay. Basically mojo style potatoes with liquid cheese, of which I am not a fan. They also had bacon bits and jalapeños on them. If you like the liquid nacho cheese, then you will love them. They are a bit salty though. My wife liked the wings, they were not that spicy though...maybe she is just used to VERY spicy food. The Greek salad was the best thing I tried. It is not like having it in Greece, and yes, I have since I have relatives and spent lots of summers there, but it was large and tasty. Lots of, what looked to me to be, Japanese cucumber, sliced cherry tomatoes, chicken ($5.00 extra), raw red onions, Kalamata olives (pitted), creamy Feta cheese and a good Greek vinaigrette (pre-made). Honestly the best value. The atmosphere was nice, airy and comfortable. More of a sports type pizzeria. The part that used to be a bar and dance floor is being remodeled into something else--not sure what--but they had a small arcade there with mostly grab prizes and chance games for prizes (lots of watches). At most pizza places I do not leave a tip, since we order and they bring it to the table, but the worker did come and check on our drinks and bring two more mojitos when I asked. What I do not like, that many restaurants do, is when you pay, the screen suggests a tip to leave (like I cannot do simple math) based on AFTER taxes, which the taxes have nothing to do with the service, so when I tip, it is before taxes.Okay, only downside, and I have seen this comment before, was the price. We only eat out once a month, because it is expensive and we cannot control the salt, sugar and calories. I did think the price was a little high. I have gone to other pizzerias and spent a little less, plus we normally do not drink. Pre-tax was $129 and change, out the door $151. Normally we are out for $100 even with a few drinks. I know prices have gone up, but it seemed a little on the higher end.Spoke with the owner, nice guy. He has other locations and ventures. Most of the Greeks I know own hamburger stands or diners, but it was fun to speak with him as we had a few associates in common. This seems like a fun place, good food and nice atmosphere to take a family. They have a great side area for teams and larger parties. Check it out and enjoy.
