I had never been here before but I stopped for a delicious (and healthy) chicken sandwich. A bit expensive (~$14), but def fresh and well made.A quick FYI for people stopping here for the first time: most food is served raw, so a bowl with onions and mushrooms will have raw onions and raw mushrooms.

I had the Baja Bowl. I was looking forward to it but sorry to say I was disappointed. Also i found some hairs in my food. The food is over priced as well. Staff was friendly and the ambience is nice. The primary reason i went there is because it was marketed as the only healthy food option close to the train station.

Nice service and excellent, reasonably priced fresh food. I had and enjoyed the Tikka Masala warm bowl, and tried some Endless Summer salad. Id order both again. Finished with hibiscus lemonade, I felt plenty full without feeling gross.

Delicious! I had the Ahi Tuna Salad and it was excellent. They also have the most amazing chocolate chunk cookies sitting at the register that they bake fresh. I had one (after the salad:) and it was so good. Probably one of the best cookies Ive ever tasted. Polite, friendly service, super clean inside and out. So glad I popped in to grab my dinner!

Hell nah. Cold food, left the chicken out of my $14 bowl. Food had a moldy towel after taste. After one bite my husband And I left we didn’t even want to ask for a refund because the employees seemed so unapproachable. The menu looks nice. I prefer nutrient dense foods so I came here but this was not it. Compared my experience to the bad reviews on here and it was the exact same. Don’t know how they have 4 stars. As other people were saying maybe stick to purchasing smoothies and salads from this place do not purchase anything “hot.” Either way I’m not coming back.

This place used to be amazing but unfortunately things have changed. Every time we come in, about an hour before closing, the staff is always doing closing duties, which makes us feel like we are ordering food way past closing time. If your hours are until 8pm, then the tortilla heater should not be turned off at 7pm. Please address this.

Great quality food and service. Ive been here on multiple occasions, and its consistently on point. The ingredients are always super fresh. You can tell because everything is right in front of you. No matter who is doing your order, theyre super nice and excellent at making it. If youre not sure what to try, I recommend the Cobb salad. They do not skimp on the chicken, and fresh lean bacon bits. Super filling.

Local greens is located in a little shopping center on Pacific Coast Highway. You can see it from the road, but the cross traffic can be a little annoying, just be patient. They are setup like a lunch room. You give the your order and they put it together from a chart. It isnt a bad thing. The food is still good. I got a curry dish and it was tasty. It taste fresh. The rice was a bit to dry for me, but palatable. Its pricey for what you get, compared to similar food place. I cant say that I will return, but I wont say never.The parking is free and it has plenty of inside seating.

Love this place! Their green warrior smoothie is delicious and packed with nutrients! Not too sweet and the splash of citrus makes it super refreshing. I havent tried their salads yet but they have tons of healthy options.

I love the fresh organic ingredients, gluten free options, the smoothies arent all made from fruit (beets, kale, celery, coconut butter, and MANY other options), plus the ability to customize. Hubby and I both got salads which were yummy and very filling. We watched them make some wraps which were huge! Employees were super helpful and patient while we tried to figure out our customizations. This is a new favorite place to get healthy and fast food!

They have kombucha on tap, which is reason enough to keep me coming back! I had the Omega Rising, which was fresh and delicious. I love that you can make your own custom bowl - Ill probably try that next time.Staff was quiet but friendly, service was fast, and they have a cute little dog-friendly patio. Will definitely return to Local Greens!

Not a fan. The ingredients were fresh, but the dishes werent very tasty. I went there with my son for the first time. We both agreed. I think the woman working was new as she was constantly looking at a recipe as she made our dishes. We may try again and hope she got some training.

Great food! Fresh and organic, with a flavorful variety of choices. I ordered the California Dreaming Salad and substituted garbanzo beans for the mushrooms. They cook their own beans here. Nothing out of a can. Awesome healthy lunch for right after my swim workout !

If you care about what you eat and you want a nutritionally satisfying meal that fills you up, this is the place. They offer meals for all food lifestyles from meat lovers to vegans and EVERYTHING on the menu loooks delicious! It’s modern, cleaver, has a NYC vibe to its practical presentation, it’s clean, fresh, friendly, extremely affordable, with generous portions and easy to order. I am thrilled to at last find a restaurant that will quickly become my go/to food source when I don’t feel like cooking.P.S. This amazing food venue is owned by a very friendly and creative woman. I didn’t catch her name, but I felt she indeed understands that ‘We Californians’ truly want food options that reflect our healthy beachy fun lifestyles. To me, this is long overdue. It’s amazing!

Besides the awesome food, the customer service is incredible!! I had a 5 month old puppy with me, and he would have been strong enough to knock a table down had I tied him up outside. So they waited on me whe I stood outside!! Even got my drink for me from the self serve fountains. I already LOVED this place. Now I love it even more!! Go check them out...you will not be disappointed!

This unique fresh food spot is a must for anyone who enjoys their food and wants to have great healthy options. There is a great selection of salads, wraps and more. Excellent idea and very clean establishment.However, the açaí bowl I ordered was $11 and should have been $4. I use the same açaí packets at home which are $0.50. They just put that in a blender with a ton of ice cubes for a poorly made, watered down purple slush.Team Local Green - Love the idea and the menu is excellent, but you really need better ingredients. Your place would be packed if the menu tasted as good as it looks.

Found this place while just out for a drive. I am not from Solana Beach or SD but I was hungry and near the beach so I stopped. In really enjoyed my greek salad. It was large, tasty, and fresh. Try the Ginger Green Tea (iced) or other drinks they have like Kambucha. The little sample smoothies were good too. Ill be back next time I am down south.

Im sorry but no. I so want to say yes. The interesting menu enticed my wife into driving down from Encinitas for a late lunch. The menu looks good, the food is presented buffet style and the staff creates the dish you order. My wife and I both ordered chicken based meals - a salad and their grilled chicken with sides meal. Through the glass the food looks delicious - the food does not taste delicious. Everything on both our plates was cold and bland. Really bland and not a salt or pepper shaker in the dining area - we asked a staff member to give us a small plastic container of salt. Why would a place that obviously works hard to present a high quality healthy brand serve customers cold mashed potatoes? Cold and bland mashed potatoes. I ate three bites of the also cold chicken - delicious looking but not delicious. Ive had bland chicken - this was worse than bland - it was blah tasting. And about as many bites of the cold mashed potatoes then tossed the dish.Were healthy eaters, and I hate that I hated this place. But it wouldnt take much to work on the food quality - a little heat and adding a little healthy kick to the food would turn this from a no to a yes.

I cant believe its taken me this long to try this amazing establishment! It doesnt look like much when driving by but you must stop in. I had the Omega Rising. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and all the ingredients from the greens to the cabbage are flavorful and crisp. I could eat here everyday!

First impression as you walk in is overwhelming odor of blended kale. I wanted chicken. They had a plate of way undercooked chicken breast under heat lamps. The bottom halves were white, the top, were bright pink. I asked the girl behind the counter if they finish cooking them after you order and she said they were already cooked. Then she poked at one and I could see how dry it was. I got the chopped chicken that appeared to be actually cooked, dry, but cooked.I am seriously concerned about undercooked food and food sickness.

The food is fresh and good. The guy at the counter, probably the owner, always double check and clarifies with the employee at checkout about extra add-ons. Dont know why he asks me at first place though. Anyway, never provides paper towel or bag unless you ask for it. Probably its only with me :). Today the same owner tried charging me 50 cents more for the same wrap and while questioned he gave me an excuse saying that there is a price change that is not updated on the display. Actually it was an additional/extra item that was added which I had not noticed. The wrap was not cut half and no bag was offered. Will never visit this place again.

I got the steak plate. It was barely cooked inside. I posted 2 photos of my steak. I got roasted cauliflower as one of my side and there was a dead gnat or some other small bug on one of the cauliflower pieces. I was already away from the restaurant to complain and I dont live near it. I was very disappointed because this restaurant was suggested to me.
