Lotus Pho in South Lake Tahoe

Delicious food here! Everything we ordered was amazing with the exception of their pho. It was good, but it tasted like they used chicken broth... Or the broth was just extremely bland. Every other item was great though and we pretty much licked our plates clean. Lol Our server was great and attentive and the restaurant is really cute with the umbrellas on the ceiling and the live plant wall towards the back.

The food was such a LET DOWN. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue which according to some reviews were good or at least better than the Pho. Wrong! Broth was bland AF and noodles were way too soft! I had to add lots of hoisin sauce and chili oil to my food just to add some flavoring, which totally changed what a Bun Bo Hue is supposed to taste. Noodles definitely had been sitting/soaking in water for a long time for them to be that bad. I did get the spring rolls and the peanut sauce was quite phenomenal, which is what my 1 star goes to. Don’t think I’d come back to this place, let alone recommend this place to anyone I know.

This is a new restaurant in South Lake Tahoe and extremely good. I have been all over the world and had a lot of Thai and Pho in the past and the food here is excellent. I had Pad Thai with Shrimp and my husband had the Chicken Pho both were very good. The Pad Thai had the most shrimp in it than any other dish I have had at other restaurants, probably 10 pieces or so. The Chicken Pho was super tasty and had a ton of chicken in it.

Solid stop for Pho. It was served hot and fast. Good flavor, fresh ingredients. There was nothing that stood out as great or bad, just what I’d expect from this type of restaurant. They do have some classic “American” Chineses popular dishes on the menu too.

Walked in during lunch time, was seated in less than a minute with food in front of me within 10 minutes.🏠 Location: The restaurant itself has a very pleasant vibe to it. It’s colorful with music in the background. It made me feel very welcomed. I love their neon sign on their custom nature wall. It’s pretty cool.⭐️ Final Verdict: If you’re in the area, come check this place out! I randomly walked into it and I’m glad I did.

We came here for Sunday dinner, the restaurant was crowded yet the service was fast and there was no waiting time. The service was great, the decoration was the best among the Vietnamese restaurant that I have been too. The food was so so, we did not find it so special. Also, the taste was not that Vietnamese authentice to us. But I believe this is the safe option for vietnamese food in Tahoe area and we cannot ask for more in tourist area.

Walked in on an impulse. Glad i did. Had the bahn mi which is on the app menu but could be a meal.It was very good. I eat a lot of them on my travels, and this ranks right up towards the top.I was myself and service was slow hut friendly.

Beautiful design. Nice staff. Love the atmosphere. P1 Combination Pho was really good. Enjoyed the calamari as well. Serving is a bit small.

This was the closest pho restaurant to where we stayed. Read some reviews, but still decided to give it a try. I ordered the combo pho and my husband ordered the rare steak pho. I agree with the reviewers that said the broth is bland...it is!! I had to add more hoisen, soy sauce (which I never use) and finally, added salt to make it more tastier. The broth wasnt very hot. The rice noodles tasted different. It tasted grainy. I couldnt finish my pho, I was that disappointed. I did enjoy the big pieces of tendon though. My husband thought it was ok. For people who cant eat too flavorful or salty or just desperate for some pho, then it would be ok. And the siracha brand they use...boy, was it spicy. I was tearing up.Customer service was good, but they dont come back to check on you. They are busy because theyre the only pho restaurant in that area.
