Get the chicken curry soup(Own No Khao Swe) and fish noodle soup(Mohinga) and pair it with the tea leaf salad. Try the Burmese tea which is a milk tea similar to a Thai iced tea and Malaysian milk tea but not as sweet.

We had a wonderful time at Mandalay morning star, a new family-owned restaurant that serves authentic and delicious Burmese cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and casual. We tried the mohinga, a hearty and aromatic soup with rice noodles and catfish, the Own No Khao Swe and the tea leaf salad, a refreshing and addictive salad with fermented tea leaves and a crunchy mix of nuts and seeds. All the dishes were flavorful and satisfying, and I enjoyed learning about the culture and history behind them. Mandalay Morning Kitchen is a great new family owned and operated place to discover authentic Burmese cuisine!!

Simple menu. Delicious dishes. The whole family enjoyed it including the picky eater.

One of my favorite Burmese restaurants! I’ve been here 4 times in the last 3 weeks (since they opened). Definitely recommend the Mount Ti, Nanji Thoke, and Ohn Tamin. All have been delicious.

Food on the menu is average. Food in the refrigerator are much better if you know what to order. Service needs improvement.

Great place for a taste of Burmese Food. I highly recommend the bamboo shoots and pork curry with rice. Hits the spot 👌.
