What a great experience..my family and I have been locals to our previous residence for 30 years. So, we have been desperately trying to root in corona with all our fav genres. Japanese food being one. After visiting several spots weve finally found the one! The food was delicious. The prices were surprisingly inexpensive. The service was impeccable. Sunny, our waitress quickly made Marui home for us. You will not be disappointed.

Marui Sushi is a fun, relaxed spot to get good, fresh sushi. The staff are friendly and accommodating and every time weve visited or ordered, the sushi is tasty and fresh. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to other sushi restaurants in the area. The ambiance is fairly typical for local sushi establishments but very comfortable and clean. Enjoy!

Just moved to Corona and have tried 6 + sushi joints. This by far has been my top choice. Relaxed atmosphere and not overdone with an attentive staff. Fish quality is A+ as well as a variety of creative rolls. Try the Dynamite, you wont be disappointed 😉

Since the covid hit, I found this place bc my other spot was closed. The Sashimi salad is off the hook and well worth the price . The chunks of fish are huge and the best in the Corona area! Between the Bento box and salad I struggle to finish it ! If you have not tried this spot you need too!

Been eating here for years since my now 17 and 18 yo kids were little. The owners have always treaded my kids extra special so gar as to kidnap them up to the bar for personal sampling service. My first experience with sush and Japanese cusine was Tokyo so my standars are high. I pretty much always order gyoza, main roll and sashimi salad. But everything is excellent.

The food was excellent. These were one the best sushi rolls Ive ever had. And lately its been hard. They were a bit pricey, but worth it. Most rolls have way too much rice, but not these. They were a nice size and had a good amount of filling. I was full and wasnt able to finish my 2nd roll. Definitely would go back.

Way too expensive for mediocre sushi. the presentation was great but the taste left so much to desire. the service on Wednesday was terrible. the server got my order wrong twice which ended up with me getting stale food. the seafood clearly isnt fresh. which ended up giving me food poisoning that very same night. 50+ dollars for sushi and seafood that tasted low quality and frozen. on top of the fact that the service staff was rude and slow. if it wasnt for the presentation of the food and the atmosphere of the place id give this only one star. wouldnt recommend

I will drive 55 min. to eat at this restaurant! If you go mid afternoon on a Sunday its quiet and the fish is so fresh! Portions are unbelievably generous! The sashimi is wonderful and the staff is happy, and friendly! I love it here! I have not had sushi this good in a long time. Definitely try it!

Sushi seem old and tired. Udon soup should be called mushroom flavored water. Tonkatsu mushy on inside and taste a little off or undercooked. The salad from the bag was old and should not have been served. Short rib and tempura were decent. There is no way this is a 4 out of 5! Not sure how this place is rated so high. Service was fast and friendly, but kitchen not supporting their efforts.

I went there on a Tuesday around 2pm. There were 3 tables included us. The sushi is fresh and tasty. Service is horrible. Our waitress never served us our drinks until AFTER the sushi arrived. I ordered the dynamite and a baked salmon roll and she forgot to send the dynamite. I completely understand if the restaurant was busy but hospitality and service are missing in this restaurant. I ll suggest ordering to go since the food is good.

Lunch was just ok but the pricing was fantastic. My sister got the California toll and said it was delicious so Im sure it was. I had the spicy salmon roll which was just ok the salmon mixture on top of my roll was heavily salted and had a strong taste of vinegar so I took the topping off and ate the roll underneath and it was fantastic 🥰

We went in for Lunch on a Saturday and their website states that the lunch menu is offered Monday-Saturday but in the restaurant the printed menu limits the lunch Monday-Thursday. When this was pointed out the staff stated that the website has not been updated in over 10 years. It is time Marui to update your website as it is not accurate. This will foster disappointment in customers experience.

So good!! We picked the first 3 rolls on the menu and went for it. They were all three delicious in a unique way, but the #1 burrito roll with rice paper was just perfect. Its a big one so be prepared but wow was it good. We also got some salmon sashimi and it was soft and melty just the way we like it. They also have the proper size Sapporo according to my husband. Well be back and well bring friends and family when they visit!!

Ive been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times they were super sweet and friendly with my toddler aged daughter. Very accommodating and a great atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and sushi is delicious! Ordered a custom roll with salmon and they ended up giving us extra salmon sashimi because they heard I liked salmonA regular was there and they shared Saki for her birthday. Great vibes!Wonderful experience. I think I found my sushi spot in Corona!Update 2022: my toddler is now 5. We haven’t been out to sushi in quite some time until today. My nine year old daughters favorite place to eat. Good quality fish that is well prepared. What more do you need from a good sushi bar. The chefs are quick & friendly, for the most part. I can’t believe the service I received. I came in (was not acknowledged). Sunny at the desk kept her head down and walked away right as I walked in. Then got my order completely wrong. The baked salmon roll had meat in it! Yes BEEF! And had two other rolls wrong. As I waiting I saw 4 boxes of my sushi sitting for more than 10 minutes before I received the other food. I would come here 2-3 times a week until now. I will not be back.

Typical Korean FAKE Japanese restaurant. Specifically taste of sishi rice and tempra were terrible and totally different from the ones in Japan. Employees pretended to be Japanese by saying Irrasshaimase but that was all Japanese they could speak. All their conversations in between employees were in Korean.
