I have been going here off and on for a few years now and I am very sorry to say that this restaurant is no longer the place that it once was. My boyfriend and I went to eat here on the weekend. I had the all you can eat sushi and he ordered a meat and chicken platter. This was his first time trying Japanese food and he doesnt like sushi so it didnt make sense for him to buy the all you can eat sushi but he did wanted to try a little just to see how it tasted. He had like maybe 3 rolls and we were chastised by the manager on duty, who looked like she was about 14, about how we arent allowed to share food. In the past I was able to share sushi here but the girl informed me that new management had taken over and it was no longer allowed. I dont understand this because it wasnt as if we bought only one all you can eat and then I was just giving him all my food. He ordered his own food. Also it makes no sense given the fact, at the end of the day, its not as if they were losing money. We paid for our food. You can go to almost any restaurant and they dont care who you share your food with as long as you pay for it. Thats the bottom line. If you pay for it, its your business who you share it with or at least it should be. Also, whatever is not eaten gets thrown in the trash anyway, so Im not sure what difference it makes whether someone eats it or it gets thrown away; the only difference is that if someone does eat it, it benefits someone, if it gets thrown away, it benefits no one. The service also left a great deal to be desired as we received cold glares from the staff that made us feel most unwelcome and uncomfortable. All of that because he tried 3 rolls of sushi. Literally. Needless to say I will never be returning here again. R.I.P to the SGC that I used to love, where the owners and the staff made you feel welcome and just wanted you to be happy. Hello to the greed driven new management that cares nothing for the contentment and welfare of its customers and is only concerned with one thing: making their bottom line. If you happen to be a customer and dont like this, then you can just go screw yourself, as far as theyre concerned...... And dont even think about sharing.... ANYTHING!

At this point, a West Corona mainstay. Prices on rolls have generally been fair in this current inflation climate, but even before, deals were always available to suit your dine out on a budget needs. While not particularly authentic, the sushi rolls are creative and tend to the tastes of the locals well. Sweet and savory flavors are abundant in the modern American style of sushi familiar to southern Californians. The service is personable and pleasant, and always willing to accommodate. Spicy udon is my personal favorite for any day I need a warm comfortable meal. Its a hidden gem barely featured on the menu. Most will favor dishes like the Iron Monkey, bits of fried saucy tempura battered scrumptiousness. Its a shop not strictly concerned about upholding traditional Japanese cuisine, but its fitting given the locale. Most customers dont complain as theyve come for the variety. Atmosphere is comfy and rustic, almost tricking you into thinking the place might be considering a Korean BBQ outlet, but alas it appears that it would be a bit TOO much variety to stay with the name J SUSHI.
ETCetera Sushi & Thai Bites

** WARNING **This place has multiple google pages to deceive customersI’ve been here multiple times and I can say for sure that this restaurant is the definition of MEDIOCRE when it comes to the sushi world. Simply it’s nothing special.ETC is overpriced especially for FARMED fish. At these prices I expect to be having sustainable wild caught fish like steelhead. What you’ll get here is mediocre quality fish at EXORBITANT prices.Inconsistent with their food and drinks. Baked rolls come out cold and different every time. (Like they’re experimenting or just don’t care)RUDE bartender with attitude problem. Bartender insisted on taking my phone to use Apple Pay even tho there is clearly a terminal not behind the counter. (HUGE LIABILITY)Bad experience overall. Would rate 0 stars. To put it simply DONT eat here.Vote with your dollar and eat at authentic Japanese restaurants you’d like to see around In the long run.

I love their thick sashimis and fresh wasabi! Super good! Eel bowl was delicious too. Their food are different with other Japanese restaurants. I think the chef has his own idea about food.
Yoshiharu Ramen

I tired this place for the first time and it was just ok. I ordered the chicken ramen and the chicken was over cooked. My ramen was the spicy level 2 with pork, which was ok. My issue was I ordered spinach noodles as a substitute, and they left a note in my bag that said they didn't have anymore. Like what kind of customer service is that. Luckily I checked my bag before going home. However I was told I couldn't get a refund and had to process it thur the Toast app. I was more Irritated because how the situation was handled with the server. I was told to leave my information for the manager to call me back. Which no one called me back. And FYI they usually don't have spinach noodles because that's what the server told me, “we usually only have spinach noodles on certain days, welp don't you think you should have that on the website when ordering. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.

Korean owned Japanese restaurant, California-style Japanese sushi dishes. Super friendly staff, tastes are on the strong side, and food is delicious. Sauce is a bit too salty for us, but they offer a variety of dishes to choose from, a good place to hang out when youre in the area.

Located in Corona Del Mar this fusion inspired Japanese restaurant serves upscale sushi rolls and more. This visit came in during lunch time and ordered a Baja Roll $20 and miso soup $4. Flavors were good and then it goes downhill.Server was in a rush to get our order in and made me feel uncomfortable the whole time I was eating. Felt like I was dinning at a fast food restaurant and when I was about to eat my last piece of sushi she comes over to try to clear my plate and it was very awkward and unprofessional without asking if I was finished. She insisted on me ordering more food and I said no and then comes back to the table again and insisted I order more. I’m about livid at this point. Was rushed to pay as well.Overall experience was not great and felt angry that I dropped a fair amount of money on a meal that I really wanted to enjoy.

I usually stop at this location after work and the customer service is always perfect. Last night was a different story. We showed up at 9:30 pm with our intention to dine in. Well the cashier rushed to close the lobby and did not take my order until after she was done. I tried to pay no attention to it but then realize she didn't even greet us!!!!! Rude. So whatever I place my order and ask her what time they closed she tells me 11 and I tell her but ur lobby closes at 9:30 she tells me yes with an attitude. I'm like ok sorry for asking. She then calls my name to hand me my food and literally just tosses it on the counter and says here. I didn't even know what to say. I figured ok she's having a bad day. So we end up eating in our car in the parking lot. Since we did we have about another 45 min drive to home. So thanks for not allowing us to dine in even though your lobby closes at 10!!!! Food was good but the service wow just wow!
